I have an active policy with Traveler’s insurance and filed a claim 10/12/24. My family has been without running water in my kitchen for over three months. Travelers acknowledged that $6,532.54 was owed to me, by Travelers, so that I can pay the contractor hired to restore my kitchen. I spoke with Lyle S******supervisor on 1/17/25 who said that he initiated a ***** transfer to my personal checking account and I should receive it within 3 hours. When 3 hours had passed and the money was not in my account, I called back and got Gill O**** (Lyle had left office for PTO) until 1/27. I asked for a screenshot or email confirming funds were sent on their end and Gill refused. He mentioned “You just have to wait, it says I initiated on our end”. My bank confirmed that there is no deposit pending. Gill mentioned that he (Gill) canceled the electronic payment and refused to provide any proof that the funds were actually sent. My bank confirmed there is nothing on their end and the timeline does not change because it is a “business”. I even asked for $750 of the funds be transferred electronically so that I would not have to cancel my appointment for a temporary sink. Gill’s response “Oh that’s NOT gonna happen!” If this is not resolved by my Monday appointment to have a sink installed, I would be forced to reschedule for another month out, making 4 months without running water and a paid claim. Gill refused to correct the issue or make it right, when I called in for help.Business Response

Hello, My car got damaged with Hail 5/30/2024. My car was taken to an auto shop per my insurance Travelers, my car didn't start getting worked on until weeks later. My insurance arranged with a Rental. Months later I got my car back ( sun roof still broken and side mirror). I still had the rental car, my insurance took $2,000 of my bank because the rental never got approved and travelers are the ones that arranged it. I got a report it says the car would be ready in 7 days but it took 3 months. I needed a car for work, I used the rental because the insurance assured me it would be covered. This left my account negative and I had trouble paying my mortgage, because enterprise took the money from my account due to travelers not covering the rental. I tried speaking to Travelers but they werent helpful at all. I need support with this, that way i Can get my money back and be able to catch up on my bills that i fell behind on due to the withdrawal on my account. The case remains open, with concerns regarding bias and discrimination against our character. Foreign material was discovered in dumplings purchased from the *** ***** ************* ******. ************* ****** accepted full responsibility and completed an internal investigation to determine the source of the contamination, sharing their findings with us. The ************* ****** Manager offered direct contact for any further inquiries. To date, a resolution has not been reached, despite ongoing efforts since August 2024. My mother and account holder, passed away on July 23, 2024. I am her daughter, I was her Power of Attorney and then, Executor of her Will. This is in regards to an Automobile Policy she had with Travelers. Policy #*********** 101 1. She also had a separate Homeowners Policy with them that the refund due was sent to me after the sale of her home in Sept. of 2024. In regards to her automobile policy and this complaint, I have done everything humanly possible to resolve this problem, but continue to receive a different answer or excuse everytime I call. Beginning the first of August, after submitting her Death Certificate and additional paper work necessary in order to prove that I am the Executor of her Will and to cancel her policy, I have been dealing with a barrage of requirements to cancel her policy, I have also had to prove who now owns her vehicles as well as proof of insurance for those that now own them. These things I am sure are necessary to release Travelers from any liability. But throughout the months of dealing with them, I still, after monthly follow-up calls, sometimes twice a month, sometimes 3 times a month, listening to a different explanation as to why I have not received her refund check for $229.00 that they told me she was owed, I am still getting new excuses as to why. After 3 months of mailing and faxing numerous documents, without being privy to everything they needed at once, I was only informed that they needed something else, too, after my call to them to find out the status of her refund. Finally, being told that a check was issued on Nov 4, 2024 in the amount of $229. After waiting for the 7 to 10 business days and not receiving the check, I was told when I called that I had to wait 30 days before they could issue me another one. 6-8 additional calls later...finding they issued a policy in my name and applied her refund, to cancelling that and issuing a new check that I should have received and haven't. ****** **********Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The only detailed response I received from Travelers was on a phone call that I made on January 2 and to follow up on the promise that they had made to me on the December 27 phone call that I made to follow up on the promise that was made on the December 19th that I made and was promised by Amanda H with customer resolution The December 27 promise was made by Jessica of the Escalation team, that a new check was issued on December 23rd and that I would receive this check within 7 to 10 calendar days. On the Jan.6th call I was told by Ann D. that yes, the check was issued but it was not released and I now had to wait another 7 to 10 business days to receive. This is the same response or similar to it, that I have been told every 10 to 14 business days since the beginning of October.

I have multiple insurance policies with Travelers insurance. In September I tried to change my autopay to a new credit card. It did not work. I was initially referred by Travelers to my insurance broker who referred me back to travelers. The issue is that I am trying to close out a credit card I don’t want any more. Unfortunately, my efforts to change the card online were unsuccessful. Travelers charged my old card. On October 19 at 1615 I had two phone calls with travelers that totaled more than 32 minutes. On this phone call which I guarnantee Travelers has a transcript or recording of, I worked with someone who individually changed “all” of my policies to this new card. I was assured that everything was changed over. I was just charged on that card for $1777, which is a gut punch, because I wasted half an hour to accomplish nothing. I really don’t know what to do. If Travelers agent can’t help me then how do I get this fixed. This is ridiculous especially considering the amount of money that I pay travelers for all of these policies. There really is no denying that I called and that this is what I was trying to accomplish, 32 minutes. Please help me! I don’t understand why I can’t just do this myself?Business Response

We have been a customer with Travelers since 2016. We have paid our premiums in full, and on time, every year. A few weeks ago, with no advanced warning, they decided to drop us. They stated it was because we had 2 insurance claims. These claims were legitimate issues: we had a flood in our kitchen in 2020 and we had our water heater burst in 2024. In 8 years, this is all we have ever submitted to Traveler's Insurance. I believe their intent was to force us to pay a higher premium without a fair warning. They decided to alert us of this over the holiday season. In accordance, they should at least pay us $500. This amount it one quarter of the year's insurance premium, since this is the time I have spent searching for a new home owner's insurance policy.Business Response

Travelers is overinsuring my property. My insurance increased to $1900 due to them saying my dwelling cost to replace would be $402k the house doesn't appraise to anywhere near that amount through the bank for sale or replacement.Business Response

I am filing this complaint against the insurance because they denied my claim #******* and delayed the denial for over 3 weeks. My car was hit by one of their members, who left a note and was cooperative with providing information. The incident occurred on 11/11/2024. It took me until 11/25/2024 to get an estimate, which is fine. I took my car to the shop immediately after. They left off damages that I submitted from their estimate. My car was hit in the rear drivers side and the front drivers side. It is the same paint and the person who hit my car admitted to it. They have denied covering the rear damages, but they did not deny until today. I have been without a car for 3 weeks, in which this time I have spent numerous hours calling, emailing, following up with them to get a response. They have delayed, stated that it would be covered at one point, and have now denied. I have spent close to $600 on a rental car to take my mom to her surgery. I have called about 20 times. Now that they have denied my claim, they are not responding, so I left the claims rep and the adjuster voice messages letting them know I am reporting them. I work on the provider side of health insurance claims and I know that insurance uses tactics to deny claims such as these. The claims reps name is Michael F****** (###-###-####) and the adjusters name is Anthony C******* (###-###-####). The insureds who is responsible for the accident is ****** ****.Business Response

I have travelers auto insurance. Had a collision with a deer, truck went to body shop. This insurance company will not respond to anybody regardless of need. They work in the shadows making descision about repairs without contacting the insured.Business Response
