The owner Brian Johanson and his wife were threatening to physically harm my brother after being questioned as to why he had the car for over a year and told us he had gotten work done to it that was prepaid for, that he did not get done. Luckily, we recorded the phone call. After posting about the situation on Facebook, we were told by a multitude of people that they have gone through the same thing we did. Brian has kept multiple peoples cars for a year (or two in some of the cases that we have been told about) without doing any work to the vehicles and the cars have been left sitting outside to be exposed to the weather conditions during the entire time. Because no work was done we requested our money back. On 4/28 my brother went to get his car and Brian had his mother write us a check for the refund of the deposit he took for work rendered that he never got done (but again, would LIE and tell my brother that work was done when he could be bothered to reply —he is notoriously unresponsive to his clients) he dated the check for 5/1 and we don’t even know if he wrote a bad check, we won’t know until we actually are able to deposit the check after 5/1. There are people STILL in litigation with this clown, one person even told us that Brian stole his engine. This man is a con artist and NO ONE should do business with him, I think the positive reviews on google are his friends and family because if you go on Facebook it is a VERY different experience that has been mutually shared by a lot of people. How unfortunate that this is how the owner has chosen to run their business, leaving many people out of thousands of dollars and some without their car entirely. I will update once we are able to deposit the check.

Same deal promised me 15,000$ worth of work to be done to my subaru sti. Only to hand him 10,000 and have him keep my car for 8 months. Still making payments and insurance on it. Sat there and got rude when he wanted the rest of his money after keeping my car for 8 months. He kept delaying and delaying. He actually got irate with me for showing up 20 mins late to get my car. Which he left that day. And told me to come in the morning cause he waited 30 minutes for me. I had to take time off of work. Just to relieve him of my car. He blocked my car physically with his own car. And hid my keys under some tires in his shop as if he was preparing for something to go down. He's a scared business owner who tricks good paying people into his little bait and switch. Once he has your car. You are no longer the one in charge. Stay clear of this place.

They took nearly a year and a half to do a rebuild on my STI. The minimal communication that was provided was just constant excuses. While the car was at his shop it was dented for me only to find out when I stopped by unannounced. For the icing on the cake, in the end he significantly over charged for the work done. Only completed work once I became aggravated and put my foot down. Didn’t put in all of the hardware, car needed an O2 sensor and has an evap problem, he even made me wash my own car. Poor excuses for a business
