      The complaint is about ************* ********* Coffee brewer. I've purchased the unit 2 weeks ago, but according to Cuisinart based on the the serial number the unit is not covered by the warranty, The problem is that the power cored is getting very hot during the coffee making time, presenting in my opinion a highly probability of electrical fire. All my attempts to resolve the problem were rejected based on the registered S/N out of warrant period (year3) . Given the possibility of a fire, and given the fact that the machine is build to make coffee unsupervised, I strongly believe that an exchange is warranted superseding the stated warranty period.

      Over the years I have purchased the oval Conair ******** ******* Gel Handle brushes. The handle of each one ahs broken off in the same place. I have called numerous times over the years to ask for replacements. No one ever got back to me. Just now, I spoke to a rude customer service agent named Jenna who said she was a manager and had no supervisors. She said you no longer make the gel handle brushes and would offer no assistance. Wait long enough and then you can use the word, unfortunately.

      I have a coffeemaker that has a problem. They offered to send me a replacement within 10 days but first I had to cut the cord and have been unable to make coffee. All they will tell me is that it’s being prepared. The pictures were sent on 4/25/24. It’s way past 10 days and they won’t respond with a ship date.

      I purchased the B******* *** **** ******** ***** 3000 ionic straightener from ********* * **** The Item is unable to be returned because it is a hair item. I do not have an issue with the ********* * **** my issue is with the hair straightner itself. The straightener is unsafe, I have burned my forehead and forearm on it the first time I used it, it is heavy and has very little safe area to handle it. I have emailed the Conair / ******** through their website on 4 different occasions, and no response. I am hoping to send this product to them and get a more safe product in exchange. The outside /top of the iron became very hot with in seconds of plugging it in, there was no safety warning on the top/ outside casing of the product.

      On July 9, 2023 I purchased a ********* air fryer toaster oven. It never worked properly and was both burning and undercooking food. I contact ********* in February for a replacement and I was told that I could wait until the replacement was received and I would need to email immediately a photo of the cut cord on my broken item or I would be charged. When the replacement was not received March 18, 2024 I contacted ********* again and was told I was given wrong information and that I would have to send a photo of the cut cord before I received the replacement. I said I didn't want to receive a replacement anymore as I was frustrated with their misrepresentations. I asked for a ****** gift card as that is where I purchased the item and I do not wish to do business with ********* any longer. I was told when they received the cut cord photo I would be emailed a ****** gift card. I have now been told that they will not issue a gift card or a refund they will only issue a letter of credit. I have sent over a dozen emails, the last response I received was in April when they said they were looking into my refund request with corporate. I spoke to them today and they said they are unwilling to give any refund only a letter of credit or nothing.

      Purchased Cuisinart Air Fryer from ******, September 2022. ($189.99 + 10% tax) Unit stopped working January 2024. It is still under warranty. Contacted Cuisinart in February 2024 to request a replacement. Was told to cut the cord and send picture showing the cut cord and a unit would be sent to me in 7-10 days after receipt. Was given a case number Case #*********. Submitted picture of cut cord on February 17, 2024, received email confirmation for submission. After two weeks with called to check on the status was told that they were out of the unit but one had been found and they would place an expedite for the replacement to be sent to me. Another two weeks went by, called and said that they were out of the unit at the east coast replacement center but found one in **********, would send one out to me. Still nothing. Called again and they said that it had been given to the ********** center and they needed to get it to **** for shipping. I would receive something from USPS. Again nothing. They would contact **** to ask for immediate pickup. Have not received anything since. Have seen others who have had the same complaint with Cuisinart Customer Service follow-up or lack there of. No resolution has been made to this point for a unit that is under warranty. Can never speak to a manager or some to make a decision on how to resolve this. I would like to get a refund for this unit.

      I received the Conair 2-in-1 Handheld Steamer as a gift last year, but suddenly it stopped turning on. I reached out to Conair directly to get it repaired but they said the warranty was expired so they would not fix it. I followed up to see if I could pay for a repair or if they knew of locations where I could get it fixed, but they claimed that the item was not repairable. I did some research online and found a lot of complaints from people who received the same response. It is outrageous that Conair is allowed to create such waste, forcing people to buy new products instead of attempting simple repairs. This is a terrible example of a company that has no urge to reduce its impact on the planet when they could easily repair and extend the life of the products they create. It's an absolutely disgraceful business practice and they should be held accountable.

      On 27 May 2023 I purchased a ****** ****** Toaster from ********** ***** ****** ****. By early-September 2023, my staff began having issues with one side of the toaster not staying down all the time and by 20 September 2023 I had to purchase a new one as that side stopped working altogether. I reached out via the company's website and submitted a request for authorization to return the broken toaster and request a refund as I had to replace it with a new one. After receiving no response, I tried again, and continued to do so for the next few months with no luck. On 4/27, my staff advised me that the toaster purchased on 20 September 2023 has broken also, with one side no longer staying down when toasting. In less than 10 months I have had TWO toasters stop working and not received any response from ****** Customer Service when I have reach out to request this be covered by the warranty. I have attempted to contact the CEO of ****** without luck also. Their website has an option to submit a request for "Returns", however it appears nobody actions these as I have sent multiple messages with no reply. The website also states: "RETURNS We stand behind our products with a full-year replacement warranty. Any product issues or questions, please contact customer service by calling the phone number below or sending an email. RETURNED MERCHANDISE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION. All returned goods will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. All returns must be authorized by the factory and have a Return Authorization (RA) number. Any unauthorized returns will not be accepted." I am trying to obtain a refund for the 2 toasters I've purchased so I can purchased a new one (a different brand!).
