I rented a car from Easirent in ***** on November 11, 2023, for a duration of 21 days. At the time of vehicle pickup, Easirent charged me the rental amount for the entire 21-day period, along with a $500 deposit. Unfortunately, on November 21, 2023, I was involved in a minor accident. The incident occurred while I was trying to exit my community, where construction work was underway. The construction company had placed a temporary steel bridge with side walls over a trench they had excavated. As I attempted to make a left turn, the side of the temporary steel bridge damaged the bottom of the driver-side door of the vehicle.I promptly reported the incident to Easirent Miami and returned the vehicle approximately 10 days ahead of schedule to allow ample time for necessary repairs. However, despite this, Easirent Miami did not refund my deposit. Instead, they filed a claim for the damage with my vehicle insurance company, ************************** Progressive subsequently paid out $4,410.45 to Easirent Miami for valid charges related to the vehicle damage.To my surprise, several months later, a company called ***************************** contacted me. They claimed to be a collection agency acting on behalf of Easirent Miami and demanded payment of an additional $3,746.34 for the remaining balance related to the vehicle damage. I reached out to ************************** and they confirmed that they had already covered all valid charges, totaling $4,410.45. Unfortunately, they were unable to intervene with the collection company.Given that these charges have been denied by ************************* and are potentially unfair, fraudulent, and predatory, I kindly request that Easirent Miami cease any further collection attempts. I rented a vehicle from Easirent ***************** location 1/26/24-1/30/24. I reserved a convertible, and I also prepaid. When I got to the location, they had no convertibles and gave me a vehicle that had a fender falling off and it was very dirty inside with the gas tank half full...I asked for the cheapest car possible, they only had the Challenger (non convertible). I was supposed to attend a special convertible event and couldn't, my sole purpose of going down to ** for those 4 days and I rarely drove the vehicle. I still got charged for the full convertible amount ($261.92) which I should not have. There were also outstanding tickets on the vehicle making it difficult to acquire a SunPass to get to my destination...where the vehicle basically sat the entire time because I essentially had no use for it. The location was closing and didn't seem to care about much of my situation and didn't have any other vehicles to offer me. I believe I put about ************************************************************************************************************** and everywhere else was closing or booked. I would like a full refund, this completely derailed my entire trip and there weren't many options remaining to fix the situation. On top of that, I received a bill for the tolls, which I had already covered. The featured vehicles that are displayed for each car class on the Easirent website or partner booking sites are only representations of the type of vehicle that may be available at the time of pick up.
However, we can guarantee you the rate you reserved. If we dont have the car class available you reserved, we can upgrade you to the next car class
This Renter booked a convertible about 18 minutes prior to pick-up time. The vehicle was currently on rent, and the renter was late returning the vehicle the vehicle. We did not have time to request a similar vehicle from another office. This renter was offered a Dodge Challenger which is a comparable vehicle class. This renter stated that the vehicle given to them was damaged. But we do not have shown any prior damage to this vehicle. This renter also stated that his toll transponder did not work. Please see the Toll Policy below which is listed on the renters rental agreement as well as on our website.

I am rejecting this response because:The original car you tried to give me was damaged, the fender was falling off, it was dirty and the gas wasnt full, I had to alert the staff about it. The entire experience was incompetent. And I had to essentially find a car that was drive able with the staff. I specifically paid for a convertible for an event while I was in ** and I wasnt able to go. The vehicle you gave me was barely used due to the fact.
10% off my next visit is not sufficient. I want a full refund considering the car was barely used. Im asking as a customer of your business and as veteran of this country to stand up to your standards. I feel ripped off and my trip was essentially wasted because of what service you provided/failed to provide.

I rented a car for my Daughters Graduation For May 1st thur May 5 First off my flight was delayed so when I finally land and get my luggage and take the shuttle to the Easi Car Rental in ***************. The manager was being very very rude and obnoxious. To do point he made me feel that he was racial profiling, and when I asked for his name, he gave me a false name when his name was *********************** and I got it from the shuttle bus driver. He took me back to the airport never received the car never signed for the car and my card was charged. He handled the situation very unprofessional, and I wasnt the only one at that moment that was turned away from his bad professionalism.!!! please look into this matter I would highly appreciate it. On or about April 12, 2024 I booked a Rental Car with Easirent. Had to cancel immediately because of change of flights, but rebooked within hours. COULDN"T reach a person during the necessary cancellation (wanted to change dates) and their system was pitiful. I SHOULD HAVE KNOW THEN, but proceeded. When I arrived at the ****************************, following all their directions.....I called their "pick up" phone number to arrange for a shuttle to their site [again following their directions] 5 (five) times. Each time it rang and rang and rang until it cut off. This was over a 90 minute time period. Finally I had to book with another Rental Company (ACE = they are fantastic).Disputed the amount.....even typing this is a waste of time/money, the amount is so small ... and of course EASIRENT 'did nothing wrong'.Actually, partly correct. The 'did nothing' but take my money.Do NOT do business with this cheap company, poorly run and when I passed their location, by accident - they don't tell you where it is- the cars looked NOT like new ones.Do NOT risk it.I was left at that Rental Car Terminal, in the dark for a couple of hours trying to figure out what to do. I rented a car through Easirent in ************, ******* on 3/12/2024. My rental contract was for seven days. On the seventh day I contacted Easirent and Advise them that I would like to extend for An additional week and the representative advise that he could do an extension just for one day and I would just need to come in on the following day and they would put me in the same vehicle. I would just need to do an updated contract. The following day I received the call from my emergency contact that was listed on my contract and she stated Easirent Contacted her and stated that they were trying to reach me and that I will be charged $50 for each hour that the car has been pass the return time. However, no one ever reached out to me other than me calling them to extend for the day. Once I received that message from my emergency contact, I immediately drove to rental agency because at that time I realize that there was a possibility that they never did the extension in attempts to try to collect extra money. As I arrived in the building, there was two customers ahead of me. I waited *********************************** as I approached the counter. The manager was very rude and advised me that an extension was never made on the vehicle, and basically called me a liar. Wow waiting at the counter. Someone backs into the vehicle that I was returning. The manager never tried to assist me and was yelling screaming you owe us money. I advised him that. Actually, you owe me money and I was only here to update my contract. He insulted me and told me that I need to leave after I was advising him that someone backed into the vehicle. He didnt stated its not his problem and no woman will Come and his business thinking they have power. He never asked if anyone was OK his only concern was trying to move the vehicle and even advise the lady that hit the vehicle that she can leave and file a accident report when she leaves. There are so many issues with this rental experience unfortunately. 1) They didn't pick the phone up when calling for a shuttle. Even after waiting in the phone queue through 12 callers, they disconnected my call. The same thing happened the other 2 times I tried calling.2) They didn't have the car I rented, or even the category of car. When I asked for the specific car I rented, the service staff laughed. 3) The only bathroom at the pickup location was out of order 4) The pickup location was very uncomfortable 5) The confirmation email and text told me to wait for a WallyPark shuttle, which isn't in partnership with Easieent any more 6) After drop-off, the airport shuttle was out of service, so I had to hire my own Uber and hope to get reimbursedBusiness Response

Rented a car from EasiRent for pickup on 3/23 to be returned Wednesday 3/27 in *****, **. Arrived to the agency 2+ hours after the scheduled pickup time due to horrific Miami *********************** traffic and rain. When I arrived, I was told they have a 59-minute grace ****** and after that time ****** the reservation is considered expired and they keep the car and the money. No refunds. I was NEVER advised about this policy which is ridiculous and I would've never booked with them. I asked if they could accommodate me since the car I reserved was sitting in the lot and they told me no. I had to order another car rental, from the same company's *************** location, in hopes that this would be resolved and I would be refunded or the original rental price would be honored for the 2nd car rental and the company never answered their corporate office number and the manager in the *************** store told me there's nothing he could do about it because I booked through a 3rd party both times (1st with Tmobile Travel and then with Expedia) I sent them a detailed email with pictures and scans of the emails, with the confirmation numbers, and explained my traumatic incident at the ************ and have not gotten a reply. I would like to recommend this business be looked into as far s their lack of transparency with their policies and also to see if they even have humans working in that corporate office which doesn't answer any phone calls. The first car rental was for 5 days totaling $131.58 and the second car rental was for 4 days totaling $428.20. All I want is to refunded the difference ($296.62) and apologized to.Business Response

On April 2, 2024 I rented a car through Priceline with Easirent for April *****nd. This car was totaled to be $113.58 which was due on arrival. Confirmation number is US20424371227KT this amount included daily rate, taxes and fees, shuttle from to airport. I arrived via airplane with my 6 year old son and waited for the shuttle for 2 hours!! I was calling the office and the phones would just ring. Another family was with me and they switched to **** rental due to the issue. I didnt have the additional funds or I would too. It was 9:47pm and the location closes at 10p. ********* helped me reach someone and they sent the shuttle to us. Inside the shuttle was the driver and another worker. The other worker was on FaceTime with her son talking about how she is not having fun and she had to come pick us up at airport etc. we get to car rental place and they added additional fees I could not afford totaling $290. Being 10p with a 6 year old and having waited 2 hours outside already we went to the vehicle and took it home. Upon morning inspection the car was FILTHY. Stained seats, sand everywhere, wiper fluid empty with notification on then the other notification came on stating maintenance required soon. I called the office an again no answer. I had to try to start the car twice before it would work. I called ALL WEEKEND. I couldnt get anyone to answer or help me. I have photos. I have emailed the corporation twice now and no one will respond. I have also continued to call but no one answered still. It just rings. I want a full refund of this vehicle.Business Response

On 13 MAR24 I went to pickup a car reserved. When I got there they had no cars left. When I tried to get my money back I was given a line of total BS & left with nothing. Upon pursuing the matter I was referred to another company called Argus Carhire who then referred me to another company called Cartrawler which I had never heard of. After passing the buck around they finally told me I wasn't getting anything back because I had reserved the car under the name **** & the name on my credit card is *******. They used that as a reason to keep my money. Of course this is grossly unfair as I see no valid reason to use that as cause to forfeit my money. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. We cancelled this reservation upon arrival with no invoice or penalty to the third party you booked with. This complaint sounds like it is for Cartrawler as they would need to be the ones to refund your for this booking.

I am rejecting this response because: When I arrived to pick up the car at easirent where they tried to make me take uneccessary insurance. When I got that settled it turned out there was no car available anyway. There was another party there that the same thing happened to. No. I didn't think to ask their names because I never thought it would come to this. They refused to give me a refund. When I attempted to get a refund in the case they said they weren't responsible & told me the responsibility was with car trawler. Car trawler told me I had to go through argus. I was jerked around by 3 different companies & screwed out of $369.50.I got my bank involved & after their investigation they were told the reason for denying my refund was that I had resrved the car under the name **** while my credit card says *******. REALLY I got screwed by unscrupulous people. I don't know who exactly is to blame but this all started with easirent @ ************************** on March 13.
