      Club Newport is a scam this is a travel discount club which we did not borrow money from or take out a loan from Club Newport so why are they getting away with stealing poor peoples money. The economy is sky rocket and we are losing our jobs and barely can feed our family or pay our important bills. They lour you in and you are distracted through the whole presentation to sign your life away. I was not told we had 3 days to cancel so why is this fake company allowed to ruin peoples lives. This is not fair. I hope these scammers get caught up with because who has free money to give away. We as consummers should all join in a wrongful information law suit against Club Newport. I used the discount that they claimmed was a better deal and Club New Port Charged me the higher price while the hotel told me no thats not the price for your stay the price was less at a motel 6 and yes it was not a Luxury resort like they say. When I called Club Newport to let them know they over charged me the man that took the call was rude and he said oh well prices do change and did not Reimburse me the over charge. This is not right. I would never tell any one to sign up with these scammer. This Club New port needs to be investigated and shut down because this scam is the company stealing our money not us owing them cause in reality they don't give us anything but take our money. Please help

      We regret that the members are unhappy with service and would like to clarify that at the time of enrollment, they opted to purchase a vacation package for which they requested financing and agreed to a 60-month repayment plan. They initialed and signed the Membership Enrollment Agreement (page 1 of 9) and Automatic Credit Card Authorization for their installment billing plan (page 9 of 9) as well as the Members Right to Cancel agreement denoting their complete understanding of those terms. If the members would like a copy of their contract, we are happy to supply one at their request. While it is true that inventory is live and frequently updated, we are looking into the price difference referenced for this particular reservation and have arranged for a customer service manager to reach out to them. We would also like to note that the club does offer a Best Price Guarantee and we're happy to walk them through that process as well. Should they need further assistance, we kindly request that they contact us at 844-CLUB-NEW.

      This company is rude and it is a complete scam . When I have documents and want to cancel and they deny it all . Sayin we do not know what we are talking about . This company needs to be shut down . And no longer allowed to carry any business license .

      Were sorry to hear that the members are upset however, we would like to remind them that they entered into a contract on 7/25/2022 when they opted to purchase a vacation package for which they requested financing. As detailed in the contract, every new member has the right to cancel within 3 days of enrollment. As they did not adhere to the cancellation terms, we regret that we cannot honor their request. 

      As they elected to finance the cost of their vacation package, they are responsible for fulfilling the terms of that agreement. Should they require additional information regarding their financial terms or payment history, or need assistance with navigating the portal or understanding their benefits, we kindly request that they contact the support at 844-CLUB-NEW.

      My wife and I purchased this membership back in 2018 spent about 2 grand on a **** purchase whenever it was time for us to use it NOTHING was ever available tried to cancel but they wouldnt let us when we signed one of the founders was there and said if we didnt continue with it that it wouldnt hurt our credit well it did and to get it removed they want **** which was more than the entire purchase they say theyve been adding interest every day for years! And the sad part about it is they told ******** (there collections department) not to make any adjustments that the payment must be in full. And when we spoke with club Newport they said that they cant do anything that the balance must be in full. SMH make you wonder how they can stay in business with such poor customer service.

      We regret that we can no longer assist the member but would like to remind them that they opted to purchase a $3,995 vacation package for which they requested financing. The financial terms, including any interest rate, was clearly detailed within their contract. If they no longer have a copy, we are happy to provide one at their request. We would also like to note that their last successful monthly payment was 12/15/2019. As a result, and per the terms of the contract, the outstanding balance was turned over to a collections agency on 8/15/2020 after multiple attempts to alert the members of the delinquent repayment status. Monterey Collections is a separate entity and we no longer have the ability to assist with the balance, however, we can see that the $4500 remaining balance they've detailed above is not accurate. Should they need additional assistance or clarification, they will need to contact ******** directly.

      Please avoid this organization at all cost. Preys on elderly, and sticks you with fees that are not worth the investment.

      This is a SCAMMM We recently had a baby and cant afford this but they don't care they keep taking money out and adding late fee charges on top of that so you can never truly pay off the remaining balance they say we cannot cancel the membership but before signing ****** our sales person (if that's even his real name) told us we can cancel at any time. They leave us with 0 dollars in our account every pay week Its cruel and unethical to do that to someone all for money. don't even think about signing up for one of these they don't care about you the just want your money. If anyone got out of this membership please help us get out.

      We regret that the members are unhappy, however, we would like to remind them that they opted to finance their purchase. The terms of which were clearly detailed and reviewed in their contract at the time of purchase. Kindly note that they signed the Members Right to Cancel agreement denoting their complete understanding of those terms as well as page 2 of 9, agreeing to a $20 late fee for any payment(s) that were more than 10 days late. They may be confusing their monthly payments with the annual dues. The latter of which is an optional fee. For that reason, we would encourage them to contact member support for a review of their contract terms and benefits.

      If the members require additional information regarding their financial terms or payment history, we kindly request that they contact the finance department at 844-CLUB-NEW. At that time, they may also wish to inquire about other repayment options should they be experiencing financial hardship.

      While we regret that the member is unhappy with services, we would like to note that the member's account has been paid off for several years and we show now login activity since 2/3/2015. To date, there is no documentation in the system that the member had experienced issues with service, however, if that is the case (or she is having difficulty navigating the portal), we have a variety of options available to assist her and simply request that she contact us at 844-CLUB-NEW. She has multiple benefits available to her including resort weeks and guest passes that we are happy to review at her convenience.

      I notice it states this company has been in business for 13 years however most of the complaints, similar to ours, only go back 3 years. Our presentation and purchase was in 2020 and I wish there had been more information on what a scam this company is. We were led to believe at our presentation that by joining the club we would get great rates on our vacation plans and free stays with accumulated points. Shortly after signing up we found that the hotel rates were not that different from any other .com service and would actually be more once the $189 a year subscription took place after the first year. We also found it impossible to achieve the amount of points needed to get free stays. This company is pure bait and switch, it was thousands of dollars waisted and a huge ****** learned for us. I have also learned how important it is to come the this site and do the research before falling prey to the high pitch, fast talking sales people employed by these companies. They make a lot of money off of scamming you out of yours.

      Kindly note that the member enrolled on 9/4/2023. Despite our best efforts to assist in this case, the member was uninterested in receiving help and her contract and membership were cancelled and fully refunded on 9/11/2023. If she requires anything further, we encourage her to reach out to her rep or finance department for further assistance.

      If I could leave 0 stars, I definitely would! Please look into this company before signing contracts. They are high pressure salespeople that will not take no for an answer! It's all too good to be true! Nothing but a scam! Run!!!!!

      We regret that the member is unhappy and if she is experiencing issues with service or having difficulty navigating the portal, we do have a variety of options available to assist her.

      We would like to note that we have previously assisted the member by reducing her monthly payment amount and while we understand she wishes to no longer repay her loan, she requested to finance the cost of her vacation package and is responsible for fulfilling the terms of that agreement.

      As a reminder to the member, she signed a cancellation policy at the time of purchase denoting her understanding of those terms. As detailed in the contract, every new member has the right to cancel within 3 days of enrollment and simply requires notifying the office in writing. The member did not adhere to the cancellation terms and is well outside the rescission period. If she would like a copy of her contract or assistance reviewing the terms of the cancellation policy and financial agreement, we are happy to supply that to her and simply request that she contact us at 844-CLUB-NEW.
