On December 6, 2024, I placed an online order for two sweaters with **************************. I ordered one black sweater and one gray for a total cost of $95.92. Both sweaters were the same exact style and the cost of $95.92 included shipping. When I received the two items, the gray color was not what I wanted and I started the return process with the company. I got a mailing label for the return and took it as instructed to my local *** store for returning on approximately December 21, 2024. I have yet to receive a refund but in three subsequent phone calls to the company, I have been told I will receive a refund of $50 to the credit card I used for the original purchase. As of today, March 8, 2025 no refund has been given.Business Response

Date of transaction 01/11/2025 for a ladies jacket. Jacket was returned 01/22/2025. From the refund policy, I understood a shipping fee of $9.95 would be deducted from the refund on my original method of payment. The policy also states I would receive an email stating receipt of the returned item and a refund would be processed 7-10 business days thereafter. I did not receive an email. With ****** being her charge method, back ordered items authorize around every 30 days and falls off until the order ships. I returned an order within the allotted 30 day time frame in 2024. The return was received on December 27, 2024 and I did not receive a return within the 10 day time frame. Since it was the holidays, I waited a couple extra business weeks before contacting Coldwater Creek asking about the refund and when I should see it. I did not receive a response. I reached out again a couple of days later and did not receive a response. I went through my credit card company for a resolution and none was given. I was charged again for what I should have been refunded. I have been as patient and as understanding as possible but this is honestly an infuriating experience (to put it mildly). Coldwater Creek has been awful on all ends and I will never purchase anything from here again.Business Response

Due to other problems, I took over my own financial records and; in doing so I found that for the entire 2024 year Mycoldwater rewards have been taking $16.15 a month out of my bank account. I had bought nothing so I called them to find out what was going on. The one purchase I did make sometime in 2023 gave me a 10% discount if i agreed to get their catalog. That was it. I would never agree to paying for a rewards program when i hardly ever purchase anything from them. However, the company used my debit card every month for over a year without my permission and took $ out for their rewards program. It doesn't even make any sense. All I want is the money they fraudulently took from my account. Since I don't have records from 2023, I don't know the amount they took that year so just get me a check for the total taken in 2024, $193.80. I really appreciate your help. I have a strict rule not to accept "free trials" from any company and would never have accepted knowingly. Many BBB complaints exist from other customers of ********************** on this same issue. I trusted this company, buying a few off-season sale items. I am a retiree, now almost $200 poorer with nothing to show for it. This response is unacceptable.

Coldwater Creek sells women's clothing and advertises on the internet enticing buyers with offers of coupons if you give them your email and/or cell phone number and agree to receive texts. I made a purchase in May 2024 and did use the discount. Just recently (Feb., 2025), I noticed a monthly charge for $16.99 appearing on my credit card. When I investigated what it was for, I found out it was a rewards program through Coldwater Creek. I never signed up for a rewards program. I spoke to customer service on 2/7/25, who explained that when I made the purchase back in May and used the coupon I had agreed to join a Rewards Program that was free for the first month, then $16.99 a month after that! I was livid, and admitted I never noticed the charges until now. I was partially refunded but the agent said a full refund was not possible. This all seems very sneaky and lacks transparency. I have no recollection of ever signing up, other than just trying to use a coupon offer.Business Response
