I paid full balance of ***** for surgery, decided to cancel they told me it takes 30 business days for a refund. They told me to send a void check sent it an they stop responding to my email nor answer account phone line. It's very frustrating! I was told they will keep 1000 cancellation fee which was fine so they owe me *****Business response

We have sent your information to the ********************* , if merchant you paid with is now closed your refund will have to be done thru ACH. We will get back to you as soon as possible and process your refund accordingly.
Remember price was only valid for a year and there is a cancellation fee of $ 1,000.00.

I was told a couple weeks ago that they were gonna send me something to sign regarding my refund. I was scheduled for surgery on 08/09/2023 and I had an clearance appointment with my primary care physician 3 days prior to this date and I was cleared to have my surgery completed. My doctor sent all of my lab work over to ** cosmetics showing that I was cleared. ** cosmetics received my payment in full for the procedure at least a month in advance. Once my primary care physician sent my lab work over to ** cosmetics, I was then advised by them that I was cleared to have my surgery done. I was advised by ** cosmetics to come in on 08/07/2023 to meet the surgeon for last minute preparations before my actual procedure date. Once I arrived for my appointment at ** cosmetics on 08/09/2023, I was then advised to wait on the surgeon for my preparations. They stalled me and allowed me to wait 4 hours before taking me to the back to then informed me that the Doctor will no longer be performing my surgery due to me having a history or heart failure. This is incorrect, and not to mention that my primary care physician already had cleared me and faxed over my clearance and lab reports to ** cosmetics 3 days prior. The issue is not that they refused to perform my procedure. That is totally understandable. The issue at hand is that ** cosmetics refuses to give me my refund knowing that they never performed any work on me or had any intentions to. Before I left their office on 08/07/2023, I asked when will I get my money returned to me and I was advised that it would be returned to me by the accountant's department on 08/10/2023. I also asked for proof or discharge papers explaining that they refused to perform work on me and I was advised that the accountant's would reach out to me to provide me with that information as well. It is literally going on a year and ** cosmetics refuses to give me my money back for not performing my procedure and every time that I call they have been sending me in circles. You can hardly reach the office or get through to anyone and whenever you do speak with someone they just take my name and tell me that the accountant's department will contact me back but no one ever does. I have been calling ** Cosmetics to try to get this issue resolved literally every day and since 08/07/2023 and all they have been doing is ignoring me as well as blocked my number. I call from different numbers and they have blocked every number that I have called from. This is beyond draining ** cosmetics owes me $3000 for a procedure that they never performed and it seems as though that ** cosmetics is scamming me out of my money. It should not have taken this long to refund me my money because when I paid them it did not take this long for them to receive my payment. Because otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to secure an appointment. Someone please help. I am begginb and pleading. Times are too hard for me to allow my $3500 to go to waste. I have no proof to provide because they are refusing to speak with me or provide me with anything. Thank youBusiness response

On January 29th, I made a $1000 deposit for a procedure, with a remaining balance of $5000, scheduled for February 18th. ***************************** was designated as my surgical coordinator. Throughout our interactions, she persistently addressed me as "love," despite my explicit instructions that I preferred to be referred to as ****************, particularly as a survivor of sexual assault. Despite my repeated requests, both verbally and via text message, she disregarded my concerns.Recognizing her refusal to acknowledge my request for basic respect, I requested a refund of my deposit. I conveyed my inability to continue engaging with a company that permits such dismissive and sexually inappropriate behavior from its staff. However, I received no apology, and I was informed that the deposit was non-refundable. Nowhere in the contract did I consent to endure sexual harassment or disrespect in exchange for receiving the procedure.I am deeply disturbed by the lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by the company and its staff. As someone with a history of sexual assault, the prospect of enduring further harassment or potential retaliation from the surgeon for voicing my concerns is distressing. My PTSD from past experiences has been exacerbated by this situation, rendering it impossible for me to feel comfortable conducting business with this company.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: Nowhere in the contract did I agree to be sexually harassed. I gave a deposit for a procedure under the guise that I would be treated with dignity and respect every step of the way, which isn't what I received.It's egregious to believe that I would now feel comfortable continuing business with the company despite my complaints.

I had scheduled a mommy make over with cg cosmetics which I informed them a month before I no longer wanted to have. I requested a refund and was told it would be handled within 30 days. Its now been months past that time frame and Ive heard nothing. I have full plans of taking legal actions if I dont hear anything back soon.Business response

When I arrive for the preop, there were a lot of things that I needed for the surgery that came up last minute that they dont tell you about that are very necessary and they give you a sheet with all the prices on it and for some reason its cash only and they conveniently have an ATM inside their office. I have requested a refund but it has not been successful.Business response

I paid $3k towards surgery and had to cancel because of financial hardship. $1k is non refundable but the $2k is refundable. I requested for a refund on 9-13-2023. In the contract it states it takes 30 business days. I reached out on 11-7-2023 that was passed the 30 days. They responded with an excuse. I reached out on 1-17-2024. On 2-15-2024 I reached out again and they gave me instructions on what to do & I sent them the info they requested on 2-16-2024. And now today 3-5-2024 I reached out again and they are telling me that there is an issue with their legal department. Overall I have been waiting 7 months for a refund that was supposed to be to me in 30 business days. I feel I should be refunded for my full amount for the inconvenience and for the fact that they didnt hold up to their part that is listed in the contract. I am paying interest on that $ because I paid on my credit cards. I also have emails proofing my above statement and each time I had to reach out to the company. They never reached out to me to let me know what was going on. Please help me. I know I am not the only person going through this with this companyBusiness response

I paid $4500 for a BBL in January, 2023. My surgery was scheduled for May, 2023. In March of 2023 I called and cancelled my surgery due to medical issues Ive been having. I was told that I will receive a refund MINUS a $1000 cancellation fee. (I am perfectly fine with this. MONTHS LATER- still no refund. January 2024 I contacted them again about the refund and reached out to a supervisor. I got an email back telling me that I will receive the refund for $3500 within 30 business days. It is now February 2024- nearly March and still no refund. I have emailed them numerous times and they keep telling me the refund is coming- WHICH IS A LIE.Business response

I submitted a request for a breast consultation at Coral Gables Cosmetic Surgery on January 17th. After submitting the required documents, ******** reached out to me several times about scheduling an appointment and submitting payment. I told her I need to talk to my husband first and she said that even after submitting payment, I still had 24 hours to cancel. I believed her after doing my own research online and gave her my credit card. After this, she was unavailable to answer any questions so I started to question this procedure even more. I spoke with my doctor who also recommended against it and called **, as well as ********, to cancel the appointment and request a refund. This was several hours before the 24 hour ***** I then emailed the accounting department about the cancellation. ******** said she was going to email me a form that my doctor was to sign confirming this and my card would be refunded. I never received anything and I kept reaching out but there was no response. I was then contacted by text to confirm my appt, etc, even though I had told them again, I had cancelled a long time ago but ******** had not relayed this information or credited my card. I put a dispute in with Citi credit card and they started their investigation. Now, over a month later, the investigation was closed but in favor of Coral Gables. I feel this is wrong in every way possible. ******** said I would have 24 hours to confirm the final decision and my card would not be charged until then. I had canceled several times with her and the institution and this message was not communicated throughout. I did not have a service that was performed and was told my card would not be charged. Please let me know what information I can submit so I can get my refund in the amount of $4000.Business response

The procedure I was supposed to receive was an implant exchange/reduction. I was interested in the galaflex & per ****** the only way ****************** would do the galaflex was with a lift. The entire point of my choosing ****************** was because he said I didnt need a lift & could do the implant exchange without one. We decided I could do the implant exchange, galaflex & a crescent lift & in the future if I wanted a full lift we could discuss that at a later date. The game plan was to exchange my implants with implants that were a moderate profile & same size in diameter as the existing implants were very large. That is NOT what I received. The procedure performed was a full lift, smaller implants & a high profile. My ******* are not the same size, irregular & deformed. My scars are large & because ****************** didnt remove my entire ****** when moving its placement, I have left over areola underneath where my ******* were originally positioned which as you can imagine left me with not just the anchor scar but also the left over dark spots from my areola! I had serious complications from the lift that required me to pack holes the size of half dollars that again have left me with hideous scarring. You wont see your surgeon but another post op provider. I kept expressing my concerns & issues I was having & all I was told was nothing couldve been done at the ******** needed to wait a minimum of a year. Current day, the response received was you pay for the procedure not the outcome. They stated that I signed a consent form indicating I was satisfied with my procedure & not only did I not sign anything of the sort post operatively, but what they sent me was a form they made me sign during PRE OPP with the coordinator taking photos with no date on the form! This would have never happened if ****************** done what we discussed before surgery. The other response I received as to the Why behind what he did was because I was lacking upper pole fullness.Business response

Nonetheless once surgery is completed you need to contact the follow up department and schedule a Consultation with the Doctor. 2-5-24 I flew to ***** from *******. From the finance department wanting an extra $500 because they said the owner isnt actually honoring the sale many of ** booked for, to being asked to switch doctors AT PRE OP CLOSING HOURS, to another doctor you did NOT want. So because you didnt want this random doctor you didnt pay for ** Cosmetics steals your $1,000 deposit even though the contract states they CAN NOT and only for select reasons. The Accounting email you need to get reimbursed for surgery is a joke as well. I will be attaching a screen shot of whoever runs accounting saying I need to talk to a supervisor but never getting me in contact with one and ignoring me ever sinceBusiness response
