    I will never recommend Midas on 34th St. North St. Petersburg FL to anyone I took my car in for an oil change and to check my car out because when I hit a bump the car seems like it hit the frame on my right passenger side in the front so they told me I needed front and rear shocks and struts and a alignment which cost me about $1,900 it took them all day to do repairs. I picked my car up just before they closed as I was driving my car I notice when I hit a bump it still sounded the same on the right passenger sound like the car was hitting the frame I also notice a leak coming from my car which it wasn't leaking before I took it to Midas I took it back Monday morning and told them what was going on with my car they then gonna tell me oh its my cvs leaking I told them if that was leaking why didnt you mention it to me when you did the inspection no didn't mention it because my car wasn't leaking before i brought it to Midas because if it was I would have noticed it by now. So now I have to spend more freaking money to take it to the Hyundai dealer to get my car fix bad business Midas you did something under my car to try and get more money out of me bad bad business do not tale your car to Midas they are a big rip off

    Initially, I stopped by the Midas on 34th Street North to have my radiator replaced. The job took over four hours. Midas failed to replace the engine coolant, causing overheating a few days later. Midas recommended that I bring the vehicle back in for a coolant refill. Rather than waiting around the shop all day, I decided to replace the coolant myself at my own expense.

    A few weeks later, while on the interstate, my engine began smoking. I discovered that Midas had forgotten to replace the oil that it removed prior to working on the radiator. Luckily my engine wasn't locked or destroyed. I replaced the oil at my own expense.

    About a month later, I noticed liquid coolant leaking out of my car. The Midas mechanic who previously worked on the radiator failed to properly secure the upper radiator hose. The hose had ripped in half. They replaced it free of charge.

    I returned to Midas to have my fuel level sensor replaced. The work was supposed to take a couple of hours . It took five. There was little communication between myself and the service writer. I had to ask for updates. At one point the mechanic was struggling with assembling the parts back together. This took an additional thirty minutes to resolve.

    When the work was completed, I noticed that the fuel gauge read full. There was only a quarter of gas in the tank when I dropped off the vehicle. The next day I drove the vehicle over forty miles and the fuel gauge remained stuck on full.

    It took nearly half and hour to speak to someone who could resolve the issue. I was told, as before, to set up another service appointment. I requested to speak to a manager and was told that there is no manager for the 34th street branch. After receiving the run-a-around, the person on the phone admitted that he was in fact the store owner. The resolution presented was for me to bring my vehicle into the Midas on 4th Street North. They would provide me with a loaner vehicle for the day. Why would anyone trust them?
