      Seeing all the high reviews on their business site I called and requested an electrician to come and do minor electrical work. *** arrived the next day on 5-24-2024 (very nice guy). I showed him the minor work to be done expecting the company required estimate he did not give. He immediately went to work changing the plate on an existing outlet. He then replaced a hanging from the ceiling electrical fan. He then drilled a hole in the sunroom wall and connected an already installed outlet to an outside outlet that he installed. He did not mention any of the required discounts. He was at my house working no more than 1.5 hours and gave me a bill for $514.00. If he had given me an estimate previous to doing the minor electrical work I never would have accepted it. My chief complaint was that I was grossly overcharged.

An inferior unit was delivered and not a Rheem and since we didn't accept it they took that away also. So now we are with no air conditioner. They financed us through sycrony bank for a Rheem and claim to pull city permits for it. None of this is right. They did not keep their end of the bargen and should deliver what we purchased, aRheem unit and no one at and Services will return our emails.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      After so many messages to this company they have not yet refunded the balance do to us for installation on air conditioner thermostat. They have caused us much grief in the past more than a month. We can not take their sad reply just telling us to reach out to them and when you do, the check never arrives. The fact that the very expensive thermostat we ordered was not installed when the unit was installed is not acceptable. We put a call into the manufacture of the unit and were told they only carry one thermostat that we ordered and it was over $700.00. But the thermostat they replaced it with was under $30.00. They told us they wanted to replace our five year old air conditioner with one to save money and when it arrived was not the one they offered. After fighting for our unit and having it installed, it did not save one ***** in monthly electric bills and we have gotten two since delivery. We also had to reach out to the manufacturer to get a warranty because they refused us one so at least the manufacturer can help if we need them to send out a repair service but that was never our agreement. We simply called for a service on a five year old air conditioner unit but a sales person came out and said the unit needed replacing. When contacting that sales person, no one ever responded from that day on and the company did not make our refund so now for the grief they caused, we will not be contacting them again and ask the public to be careful when dealing with this company and if its not on th truck and they allready ordered to never let these people back into their homes. They are never welcome back here  and we request they stay off our property. They ignored my complaint and did not respond in 30 days and months later ask us to contact them again. Very poor bussiness.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      On 07/17/2024, we received a phone call from And Services stating they knew nothing about any thermostat and had no services scheduled for our address in the past year. Shortly after a vehicle showed up in our drive and placed a type written message in our mailbox stating they were trying to get ahold of us without success. They mentioned nothing about our refund which is still pending. We immediately texted message every number on the letter again and emailed the company. A copy of texts attached. Again we feel tricked that they tried to install an air conditioner unit that was other than we paid and we refused it so they did replace that but left us with the cheep thermostat that is not WiFi and our contract specifically says WiFi thermostat, which is hundreds of dollars more than what we received so we requested a full refund of the thermostat because we do not trust them to enter our home again.

      Unit went down end of ********* ******* originally diagnosed as compressor then found was Blower. Paid $1368 against total bill for PARTS AND LABOR as I was told by several company reps that unit was NOT under warranty. Found out from Carrier that parts were under warranty and notified company. It took a month and a half to get parts and after installed I was told that I still owed an additional $247.I asked why installation alone cost same as parts and install and was told that was the price. I contacted several other HVAC companies and was told that an installation alone (which is all I was responsible for) would by no more than $600. It took less than 2 hours to install.I contacted the company several times with no better results. They now will not even return my calls. I even sent an email to the owner outlining issue with no response. What I believe should be done is to refund me $768 to make the bill equal to what other A/C providers would charge for the labor since parts were covered under the warranty,

Do not have any faith that company can even successfully install a replacement unit based on experience.       We installed a new ac system in June of 2023. Our technician arrived and found an older ac system with some problems thoroughout the system. The client chose to replace the ac system. Due to the client having a down system at the time the tech arrived he recommended to look at replacing their older system verses repairing it. The home still has its current ducting system which is older and not as efficient as is could be. The county inspection was passed and all permits as well. We have been out to the home multiple times to try to rectify any issues and now have recommended replacing the homes ducting system to get the full efficeincy out of it. When the client chose to replace the ac system there was no know issues with the ducts visually or anything pointed out by the home inspecter so there was no reason to address them at that time, without a properly working ac system we wouldnt have known the current ducting system needed  to be modified or replaced.

      I am rejecting this response because: The techs who have all been here, never mentioned an issue with ducts until the manager, who has never been here, suggested it over the phone. Then he placed a note in the file to mention it every time they come. One tech forgot and was about to leave when he was told to come back in and say it's the ducts. The issue is faulty installation and excuse after excuse on why it doesn't perform as promised by the sales person who assured us we would be saving on our electric. What AND Services can not explain is how the ducts worked perfectly before the old a/c broke but not after the new a/c was installed. It is all just an excuse for **** poor diagnosis and repair of a sub standard unit. All AND services did was sell an elderly couple an overpriced unit that doesn't work as promised and then do nothing about it. There is no way a properly installed and functioning a/c unit would require over 15 service calls in 6 months.

      The system was installed to manufacturers specifications, which was inspected by the county as well to assure the proper installation was done. The efficiency codes are more and more strict every year so the unit that was installed is more efficient than the unit that was replaced and now that its been broke In and has run throughout multiple seasons its showing that the ducts are not letting they system be as efficient as it was designed. The ducts that are in the home are existing to the home and are not allowing unit to work at optimal performance. The only resolve to the problem is to address the current duct system. The duct system that is existing to the home wasnt able to be tested because at the time our initial technician arrived for diagnosis the current system was inoperable so therefore is something that couldnt have been addressed on the first visit. Now that we are seeing these issues it is the customers responsibility to address the homes deficiencies. The ducting was never included in our initial quote because it was an unknown and undiagnosable issue at time of service. We are willing to work with the client to correct these issues but there will be costs involved for the client.

      I am rejecting this response because: I am no Harvard grad but if you can explain how a duct, whose sole purpose in life is to transport air from one point to another, is somehow able to effect the function of a $15,000 top of the line, most efficient air conditioner you sell (at least that's what we were told) in any way, shape, form or fashion while the very same duct worked perfectly with the previous system. I would appreciate it. If you are saying the size of the duct is incorrect then you should have known that from the inspection you performed that determined what the issue was to begin with. If you are saying you never checked that, then how did you recommend a system that would not work with it? AND Services refuses to own the issue and seeks to further their own monetary gain by placing the blame on a common homeowner with no HVAC experience. We hired and trusted AND Services to resolve our problem and the only thing they did was create multiple new problems and then make excuses and try to place the blame on us. We didn't inspect the old unit, we didn't recommend the new unit, we didn't install it incorrectly so it cooled the attic for a month. We expected AND Services would know better than us how to diagnose, install and service their own products. We were mistaken because they have done none of that.

      In July of this year, 2023, we used AND Services for a total repipe from the street water main to and throughout the entire house. In addition, they installed a new water heater and water softener. When the water softener was being installed, I asked the two installers how often I needed to add salt (having never had a water softener before). They informed me I did not have to worry about it for the first year, that AND Services would maintain it for me. About a week ago I noticed that the water was not seeming the same. I went out and looked into the salt tank to find it completely empty. I went and purchased salt and filled the tank to the appropriate level (having watched numerous videos). However, because it completely ran out of salt it needs to have a manual regeneration performed. I have no clue how to perform this. They never provided me with an owner's manual. I've never been given a copy of the warranty, in fact, other than a written quote, I have nothing from them.Every appointment for someone to come out to service the water softener gets cancelled. I went to their office on ****** and was told by an Install Manager that someone would be out the next day. Another cancellation. They have made it clear they have no intentions of coming out.This is the thanks I get for not only putting my trust in this company, but also spending ********* with their company (all out of pocket).It is paramount to note that I am in this situation in the first place because of the erroneous information the installers provided me. Not because of my neglect.

      On July 1st AND installed a new A/C unit. The air handler was installed in the attic incorrectly causing water to accumulate and subsequently, causing the ceiling to collapse. Half of the ceiling needed to be replaced. I paid over ****** out of pocket to complete repairs and replace the ceiling fan that fell to the floor. AND services agreed to reimburse. To date, I have not received a check. and Despite several calls and emails, this remains unresolved.

      A technician came out as a second opinion to ascertain if an evaporator coil was needed, as suggested by another AC company. The technician proved an evaporator coil was not needed. An A/C maintenance service was mentioned as I now needed a new A/C maintenance plan. I agreed to a 2x per year AC maintenance agreement for $189. I received an invoice and service agreement via email. The issue I have is that the word - maintenance is nowhere on the service agreement. I attempted to call numerous times Tuesday evening - Friday evening, to no avail. I called Monday morning as a new customer and someone answered. I explained my concern but was told I have to speak to the general manager and would receive a call back. No response. Finally, I was told the branch manager agreed to refund $189 and would send a refund confirmation via email by the end of day or the next morning. To date, I have not received an email. I called today regarding the email, ******* was very **** and hung up on me. I would like a full refund. All calls are recorded for evidence.

      STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...READ ALL OF THECOMPLAINTS FILED!!!On 8/10/23 I contacted And Services as my AC was running very warm. They sent *****, Salesman out and he looked at my handler for about 5 minutes and stated I needed a new coil, He stated it would cost about $4800 but out of stock for weeks. He suggested I purchase a new system which I mistakely did. The ac cost me $13,813.The system was installed on 8/12/23 and it took 12 hours. The system ran fine for 14 hours and then started running to 80 degrees as my previous ac did. I contacted service for someone to come out to my home. I had 2 techs show up on 8/13/23 that blamed my filter, which was new and my vents were not closed enough. COMPLETE LIES. This would not be the cause of a brand new AC unit running at 86 degrees. In addition they stated it was warm out so I couldnt expect the ac to stay at the75 degrees I set the thermostat to.Since 8/13/23, 30 hours after system was installed I called service at least 10 times to get someone to fix the ac. I was told that I had to wait in line as other customers needed attention which I understand but to have a brand new $13,813 system and I am waiting until 7 pm for a service call is unacceptable.Their customer service and office staff are Horrendous. I spoke to *********, *****, ****, extremely rude, ********************** and ****************** Mgr. After about 4 days and I contacted the finance company they decided to make my original return the size it was originally. They also had to add another return which should have been dicussed during initial consult with salesman.The only time the Mgr contacted me was to TELL me to remove the dispute I put with the finance company as he has to run his business. I refused to do so until the system ran a week or so to make sure it was working properly. **** also told me he would reimburse me money for my the inconvenience of the ac not working for days and the constant time I spent calling multiple times a day for days. He also said he would pay my ac for difference to run my portable ac. Once I questioned he said I had to cancel dispute and he could not offer me much. SO obviusly a bunch of lies!!!!Ignore the response from the company when published as it will all be lies. This company is VERY poorly rated at 1.49 out of 5 and they dont deserve that high of a rating as far as I am concerend, I accidently went to yelp which is a much higher rating.

      STAY AWAY FROM THIS CO!!

      i was told i would be reimbursed for the inconvenience of days in a 95 degree house after installation.  System work for 15 hours and died.  It took 4 techs and 2 days to fix return and add a return. And days of rude employees and being ignored.  Once you got your $13,800 you could care less!!

       

      i was informed by **** the mgr I would be reimbused as well as difference in electric bill for running my portable ac.  I have seen NOTHING but lies.

      You can claim all apologies which by the looks of all of your other complaints are the same and you continue to run an awful business with barley a 1.5 rating.

      On August 7th and services came out to my home and installed the new unit outside and new unit inside the garage.theyvfinished the outside and inside unit work and was suppose to come back to finish and repair all duct work and install uv lighting for the duct work and never came back to finish the duct work and uv lighting we have called several times and we have been getting but the run around one guy came out on the 18th and specifically said he had to to a supervisor to call us but we have heard nothing from Noone form this company theyvare charging us in my opinion way over an amount where we could of have everyrhing installed and new duct work at the right size for the unit we have and a cheaper price we are looking and wanting this issue resolved in anyway possible

      And Services has been performing maintenance on our HVAC systems. On 8/7/23 they told my husband that he needed services done and the total cost would be $843. I didn't hear the conversation because if I had, I would have told them I am getting a second opinion. My husband ok's this work, when he told me how much it was I couldn't believe it. He didn't even have an invoice from this company. I sent them an email requesting an itemized invoice for the work that was done, with parts and labor separated out. On 8/11/23 they emailed an invoice showing the parts and the cost, without the labor cost. I responded to that email the same day telling them I want to see the labor cost, didn't hear back. On 8/14 I sent another email requesting the invoice, no response. I sent another email on 8/22.....no response. I am tired of being ignored. Maybe now I will get the invoice showing the labor and part costs.

At the time a technician presents to the home, they make recommendations and review them with the client. Those are broken down by the scope of work involved and associated pricing. Our pricing is preset and represented on the back side of our invoicing which shows a flat rate dollar amount for specific services. Each service is outlined so the client knows their cost up-front and to assure them that there are no hidden fees. Most importantly, if a job ends up taking longer than expected, there is no additional cost incurred to the client. Additionally, parts (materials) pricing varies on a day to day basis depending on availability and other factors. Taking this into account, this is also one of the benefits of affording our clients inclusive pricing. Even if there is a price hike in the materials needed, we stand behind the documented pricing we provide. As you have noted, the technician's communication was with your spouse at the time services were rendered. Please know, work is not performed until authorized by the client. We want to assure you we would not have completed any work prior to obtaining consent. If you have future services with us, please let the client service representative know if work *** only be authorized by you and we will ensure the technician is aware of this and that we present when you are available. We sincerely apologize for your frustrations in obtaining a greater detailed invoice than what has been provided. Having first used our services in 2021, please know how much we value your patronage. Attached is a more comprehensive breakdown of the invoice from your recent visit with the associated pricing and description is reflected in the table seen on page two.       I am rejecting this response because:

      The invoice you attached still doesn't tell me what I want to know.  I've never heard of a company not breaking down part cost and labor cost. You just can't give me the cost of the parts?  I don't understand why.  Well, since you can't, I'll give them to you.  A hard start kit costs between $11-$40, how much did you charge us? $323......pretty shameful.  The ** Bulb you replaced costs between $10-$75, you charged us $197, also shameful.  The capacitor you installed costs about $20, your charge to us? $323, shameful.  Also, I'd like to point out that our system was put in our home when it was built, in 2020!  It isn't even 4 years old.  You've been maintaining it for years, obviously you don't do a very good job because it seems to be falling apart.  I'm from MI, I've owned a few homes and I have never had to have my HVAC systems "maintained" and they very rarely needed anything done to them. Basically you guys are nothing more than salesman and possibly con artists.  Future services with you?  That will never happen.  Any future appt's you have scheduled with us you can cancel.  I will be putting your invoice on social media so other folks are aware of your practices.

      Please know that while our pricing may have changed over the years, our customary standard of "flat rate" pricing has remained the same. We assure you that our current pricing structure is the same that was in place when you began services with our company in 2021. Based on the account history we have, we can find no former concerns being raised regarding our pricing until this time. To the best of our knowledge, we believed you were happy and satisfied with our services, which is always our hope and intent for every client. We earnestly have no intent on misguiding anyone, which is why we again afford our clients the benefit of up-front-pricing. As you have requested, your account has been documented accordingly to reflect you no longer wish to receive services from us. If there is a change of heart in the future, please reach out and advise us any specifications regarding work authorization that will be important to notate to ensure a situation such as this does not repeat itself in the future. We will be happy to obligate. We again, sincerely apologize for your discontent. Thank you for your patronage.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that I will get nowhere by continuing to complain about this business to the BBB. There are so many unsatisfied customers complaints on this site, it is mind boggling.
