Since my refinance of my truck back in dec of 21, my extended warranty was based on a lie. I didn't get the coverage I was supposed to get nor did i get the correct mileage. I had a breakdown 5 miles from when my warranty was to end so I made the claim and this so called warranty company is pulling out all the stops not to do the ***airs. I wanted to file this even though i know nothing will come from it but filling it anyway to get the information out there for other people not to get suckered in this trash warranty company that doesn't cover what they promise. They're as bad if not worse than those appliance warranty companies and the customer service, I've never been spoken to the way one certain *** spoke to me so I told him that I would make it my main mission in life to make them pay and that's exactly what I intend to do. If the insurance commissioner doesn't help, I'll be going back to pen **************** and introduce both pen fed and assurance to the news media and see what the kind of negative publicity gets me.Business Response

I was involved in an accident with one of there policyholder of Assurance America insurance company. The incident happened on 2-21-25 and was witnessed by a local police officer. The adjuster (****** **** ) has been extremely hard to get ahold of or to return any of my calls. I finally received a check at the end of March for my vehicle but have been unable to get ahold of ****** to finish the claim on camper. Would like help on getting this resolvedBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:The law requires an insurance company to pay a claim if the vehicle was insured at the time of the accident. Whether the owner was driving or they allowed someone else to drive. The insurance company is still liable. My insurance claim was illegally denied for the damages to my vehicle.

To Whom It May Concern,I am filing a complaint against Assurance America regarding their handling of my auto insurance claim, originally opened on April 4, 2025. The claim was submitted after the door of my vehicle unexpectedly fell off after being struck by a large object or animal.After the initial denial, I promptly reopened the claim on April 6, 2025. Since then, I have had to repeatedly recount the incident details, despite being told that all conversations are recorded for reference. This has caused unnecessary stress and ************** mechanic, who I paid out of pocket to mitigate the immediate damage, provided a supporting written statement, a diagnostic report, and a detailed estimate, which were all submitted to Assurance America. Despite these efforts and documentation, as of April 24, 2025, I have yet to receive a final decision.Communication from Assurance America has been extremely limited and inconsistent. I have made multiple attempts to follow up, but responses have been vague or unhelpful. I am rejecting this response because: they are lying. The only time they have contacted me was to repeatedly ask the same questions about the incident with my van. I've been reaching out since last response and they NEVER returned my call. BUT they released all MY claim report to my mechanic who in turn let me know MY business was finished. I called again after he called and FINISHED the check release with AN adjuster, not mine. I don't even know my adjusters name. I have phone and email documentation to prove.

In Jan of 2025 i hit a deer in my vehicle. I immediately called my insurance company, Assurance America, and from the beginning was treated very poorly. I followed all of their rules for a comprehensive claim and provided them with all the required info to have my vehicle repaired. They sent a check for much less than would fix my vehicle butI when I asked they assured me all the would have to do is send in any other accident related issues and they would pay. They never sent another dimes besides the initial payment which fixed my bumper. It is undrivable due to damage to the strut from the accident. They refuse to pay or give good reason why and I have paid for full coverage with this company.Business Response

Upon asking what proof they needed me to send they denied payment again because of an opinion of how they think something happened or didn't happen that they have no facts to feel that way or form an opinion other than what I reported. My vehicle was involved in an accident where it was a hit-and-run on February. The twenty seventh of twenty twenty five i contacted my insurance company I gotta claim number 4 days later, I heard from an individual that I assumed was my claim adjuster and he just verified my information as if today, I have not received any calls. I actually had the call a couple of days after the investigator called me from the ***************** talk to another agent to actually get the link that I need to forward pictures. I keep getting the run around I keep getting someone will call you with in 24 to 48 hours. As you can see, I have not had a call back, I have never experienced anything like this for an *****************. When I called back yesterday I was told that they're waiting to hear from the claimant and I explained to them that the police cannot give him touch with. The I cannot get into touch with the claimant. There's a warrant out for the claimant arrest. I was told that they need a statement from the claimant in order to move forward. I was told that they have to try so many times but no one will tell me the amount of time that they are reaching out to. It will be a month next week.I need help my car needs a fix. On Sunday March 2, 2025 at about 2 pm I was stopped at a red light in ********* at the intersection with ***************************, *******, ** I was not moving neither were the two cars in front of me. Suddenly my car was violently stuck from behind by a vehicle driven by ****** ********* ******. We got out of our cars and exchanged information. A police car happened to be in the area. The policeman wrote a report (Orange County Sheriff Report 25-012124). Since my car does not have Collision Coverage, the insurance of ****** ********* ******, (Assurance America Policy PFL1963382) must pay for the repairs to my car. I called Assurance America on March 2, 2025 I was given a Claim number 1FL5400657. The next day, I call Assurance America and spoke with their Claims ***** ****** ****. She requested pictures of the car and damage, which I did and she acknowledge receipt there of on or about March 11. Since then I have called her over 10 times she responded only once and would give me no information as to what I should do to have Assurance America pay for my repair nor did she deny my ******** is March 18, 2025. I need to get the car repaired before the bumper falls off completely and is further damaged. Please have someone call me to initiate payment .Business Response

On November 14, 2024, I was in a car wreck which was not my fault. I have followed all procedures requested of me by my insurance company (***********) and the at fault drivers who hit me (***************).I was told I could get a rental car and did so. My insurance company said they would cover the first 30 days; and they would get reimbursed from AA Ins. When my car was not ready yet, I called AA Ins. and they said they would reimburse me after car repairs were complete. I took out a loan to keep the rental (single mom who works and needed the car desperately). Now that I have returned the rental after picking up my car they say they're only reimbursing me $400 when I paid $1850.
