    According to information in BBB files Benevis, LLC has a pattern of complaint alleging Service Issues. 

    Specifically, consumers complain that Benevis, LLC cancels appointments, has poor customer service and does not provide the treatment as scheduled. When consumers reached out to Benevis, LLC to reschedule appointments the company either promised to reschedule, which never happened, or ignored consumer requests. 

    On May 19, 2023, BBB sent correspondence to Benevis, LLC to request their voluntary cooperation in resolving the unanswered complaints as well as their cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint; however, the company failed to respond.

      I've been a patient with my dental office since 2021 for braces. Last year in 2023 I was done with my payments for my treatment for braces. But after I was done I was ignored and denied treatments for a year. I requested an audit and come to find out the front office made an error in the amount I was supposed to pay for my overall treatments. When established the error I was told I still had to pay the difference that wasn't calculated. When I paid off the remaining balance I was told I need to open another contract for the missed appointments I was denied for a year. I find this being a breach because I've paid all my dues for my treatments even after the error was established. Now I'm being asked for more money to make up for their mistakes which I don't find quite right. My original amount was ***** now they are asking my to pay an additional 4000 to cover the 14 missed appointments they denied me of for a whole year.

      I brought my 5 year old twins for routine dental appointment. The dentist told us that one of my daughters had a cavity that needed to be taken care of (filled), and to make an appointment. We made the appointment. I arrived with my daughter a few weeks later for the filling after having prepped her many days to get a cavity filled. We were made to wait for 40 minutes. The hygienist came out and said "Why are you here?" "For a cavity filling." "Let me check her chart." She came back 5 minutes later. She said "we have no record of x needing a cavity filled." "But you told us she had a cavity and to make an appointment." She checks the chart again. She said "There are no notes about any cavity. But if you want, the dentist [new dentist every time we go] can do it. But she doesn't need it filled." After that, I lost all trust in this business. They were rude, unprofessional and were willing to drill in my 5 year old's mouth even if she didn't need it. I took my children's' records and went elsewhere, but they continue to call me and tell me I have appointments I never booked, and I get calls daily about a bill I already paid (see below). I called the office twice and the bill collector twice and they all say that it's someone else's job to take my name off the list. Now I have been reported to a debt collector. I think there is something very scammy about this business and it should not continue to function as a safe dental practice for kids.

      My son started seeing **************************** in November 2022 for orthopedic treatment since then my son has seen *************** a few times! The treatment has just not been there he should have been out of Invisalign some time ago but unfortunately because of pour treatment and cancels appointments by *************** we have had lots of back and forth with his teeth! My so. Has not had proper treatment from *************** since June 2023 as of February 24th my sone seen *************** and I was told to pick up be Invisalign from jubilee dental in ******* the following week and that week still has not come I have called weekly to check and nothing! March 2024 fifteen minutes before my sons appointment it was canceled after we had drove from ******** April 26 ********************************************************************************************************************************************** that they where having some problems with *************** and that she was unsure if he would be seeing patients there anymore. I ask her what do we do as of to date we have paid almost $4000 and still had a balance with ortho banc whitch we had stopped payment on due do not being seen! The office manager ****** stated she would tell him I was asking for a full refund but she said she didnt think he would respond as of April 26 when the dental office had called and canceled once again I called after I received a email stating that my son missed his ortho appointment and spoke with ****** again and was told *************** would not respond to them and that we where all just put out! *************** is not willing to give out money back and my son has not had invisign since February. Also I have a balance with ortho banc because I was advised to stop payment with them of $1100 that I would like to be cleared from my credit!

      On 2/29/2024 I took my child to ****** dental as he was complaining of pain in his teeth. After speaking to the dentist, she informed me my son had an abscess on his upper right gum and would be calling in an antibiotic. After numerous calls, an antibiotic was never called in for my son. I had to go a different route to get my son the care needed. I then contacted them on 4/3/24 as my son was having tooth pain in the same area as the abscess was previously found. An appointment was scheduled for 4/5/24 to extract the tooth. Upon getting there they stated it would not be an extraction but a cap. After the work was done, I was approached by an employee who asked if she could give my son Tylenol as he had an abscess and infection and was hurting. She then stated an antibiotic would be called in for him. Future appointments were scheduled for 12/2024 and 1/2025 for further work because of abscess and infection. By end of business day on 4/5/24 no prescription was called in. And now on 4/9/2024 I was told by employees at ****** dental that the doctor was out until 4/11/2024 and would review then. This is unprofessional and negligence and could cause my son further harm and damage if this would go untreated. I have listened to him cry as his tooth is hurting and have had to seek other options to get him the care he needs.

      My name is ***********************, Patient Acct #*******, in ******* ** at ****** Dental, the office at **********************************************. I started my treatment September 15, 2022. I opted to have clear aligners on my upper teeth only. I picked up my first set of aligners on 10/27/2022, At my appointment in March of 2023, I was told if I was not satisfied with the outcome of my teeth, they would be re-scanned and my treatment would continue. At my appointment in July of 2023, I let them know my front teeth were still uneven and I had some new gaps. I wanted to continue treatment to fix my teeth the way they should have been fixed. It had not even been a year of treatments. I was told I could either sign off & say I was satisfied with the way my teeth turned out, have braces put on or wait until they got a new scanner.At this time, I was told ****** no longer had a scanner. This was strange because when I started treatment I was told I had to wait for my 1st appt. due to the fact that ****** was in the process of getting a new scanner. It had not even been a year and ****** no longer had a scanner ??, plus, did not know when they would be getting a new scanner. They told me I would get a call when they received a new scanner, if they got one at all. I have called several times to get an update and spoke to ******* each time, asking her if I could speak to the office manager ***** but ***** will not ************* or even return my calls. I have been very patient but as of now, I haven't received a call, not even as a courtesy w/an update. I also sent a letter to their office in ******* ** on January 1, 2024 but with no response. I would really like this matter resolved because I still need the treatment on my teeth completed. I would like my money refunded in order to seek treatment elsewhere. I am no longer comfortable or confident with this facility because of their lack of concern and my opinion is, they are not very professional.

      I took my daughter here for a dental check up. The office manager ***** confirmed that they took her insurance and told me that her treatment would be covered at 100%. I scheduled her treatment for a later date. On that date we arrived and ***** told me that the insurance said it would only cover 80% and gave me a print out of costs. I agreed to go ahead and move forward with treatment even though I had been told previously that it was 100% covered. The work was completed and about a month later I received a bill in the mail totaling almost $2400. I called them and was told that they did not know why I received a bill that my insurance should have a covered the charges. I then called my insurance and was told that no Jubelee dental does not take my insurance. I had my insurance conference call ******* and they told my insurance that they did take it and my insurance told them no they do not so now I am stuck with a huge bill. Someone at Jubelee dental screwed up. I would not have taken my daughter here nor would I have had work done if they had done their jobs correctly and told me they did not take her insurance. The office manager was supposed to fix this and she just gave up and did nothing about it and never even called me back. I now have this bill in collections and I dont feel I should be responsible for it because I was told on 3 separate occasions that they took my insurance.

      My son, who is now 14, had braces applied, at the age of 8, by an Orthodontist at Kool Smiles, located at **********************************************************. Not too long after his braces were applied, the Orthodontist was terminated and his care was provided by at least two other Orthodontists. However, both Orthodontists left before his adjustments were completed and Kool Smiles permanently closed their business shortly after that. His insurance, which was Optima at the time, but has now switched to Sentara, has already paid for the braces and the services related to the maintenance of them. Once Kool Smiles left, ******* Dental was servicing the ******** area and the patients who were negligently deserted by this company. ******* Dental is now located in *******, ** (******************************************) and my son's insurance referred me to them for braces removal. I called the company at ************ and was given an appointment for January 2, ****, at 11:30 a.m. After making the 2-hour drive, I was informed that the Orthodontist decided not to provide the services as he or she did not apply the braces and would not remove them. Meanwhile, my son is suffering because the braces are snagging and ripping the inside of his mouth. I have called EVERY Orthodontist practice in ******** and no one will remove them. I am desperate to have these braces removed so that my child does not get an infection and can get the relief he needs. I am asking that someone please help me rectify this situation. It is so unfortunate that these companies can place individuals in such dilemmas and seemingly no one cares. They took an oath and advertise that they want to help patients stay on track and complete their scheduled adjustments but their actions show the opposite. They are allowed to falsely advertise and seemingly get away with it.

      Every time I have an appointment I go there for them to tell me the dentist is not in. These people are unprofessional on every level. When you call no one never answers from the office. I called to complain and speak with a manager I never get a call back. They all need to be retrained.

      My daughter was supposed to have braces put on and followed by this company. ******* Dental and Braces. They started her braces journey but now they keep canceling her appts. My daughter has not had her braces touched since July 11th it is now January 11th. All the while insurance is still paying them for services when they not providing any. I got sent to another branch by them and missed a whole day of work paid toll and gas only to arrive at that branch and be told she cant be seen here hes not taking new patients. This is $225.20 of MY money down the drain for each day that I travel over there just to be turned around with no progress. Multiple times Ive traveled 1 hour maybe a hour and a half for nothing! Just to be sent home with the excuse we tried to call you. No they did not! I think this company is committing fraud. By the way my insurance is Optima ******************* My daughter can not be seen any where else for her braces because Optima has paid them.
