Specifically, consumers complain that Benevis, LLC cancels appointments, has poor customer service and does not provide the treatment as scheduled. When consumers reached out to Benevis, LLC to reschedule appointments the company either promised to reschedule, which never happened, or ignored consumer requests.
On May 19, 2023, BBB sent correspondence to Benevis, LLC to request their voluntary cooperation in resolving the unanswered complaints as well as their cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint; however, the company failed to respond.

Arrived @ 12pm dental app 12/16 & was told they were 90 minutes behind. 4 wisdom extractions were to be done. "****************" performed b/c the original dentist "didn't come to work" I was told. He had a difficult time getting these babies out I really made him sweat but he was very nice & I was comfortable w/him. B/c it was so difficult he told me straight up I was going be in a lot of pain & to make sure I stay on top of my meds even suggested setting alarms. The s*** show started immediately after I left! My pharmacy called & informed me they don't accept my insurance. When I left the office it was so many people still their **************** but they refused to answer the phone so my mom paid cash out of pocket b/c I needed them! "****************" gave me 15 antibiotics 1q8H, 15 ibuprofen 1q8H & 12 hydrocodone 1q6H & a mouthwash. I started them all 12/16 @ 3pm & been on a schedule as directed. I'm going to be out of pain meds(narcotic) completely 12/19 after 3pm. When I called to see if I could at least get more ibuprofen I was told "he's not gonna do it" she went on to say they were closed & when I told her she was lying she corrected herself stating it was "no dentist in the office today" I understand narcotics usually aren't refilled but the lack of helping, understanding & professionalism?! This place is so ghetto & unprofessional, the staff is so rude & if you dare ask them a question it's almost like you're bothering them. I called multiple times, left messges, etc. Whoever I spoke with last literally said, "WELL HE WORKS FOR A TEMP AGENCY SO I DON'T KNOW TO CONTACT HIM." I called my local ER to see if they would see me but from past experience, most places don't touch dental patients b/c it's too risky. Luckily, I'm in the medical ********* know how to take care of my self but what about other people? What if it was a emergency? What if I didn't have family or anybody else to help me? The money was paid to the pharmacy b/c they wouldnt answer in time to reroute.Initial Complaint

My kids come to this dentist for sometime now and ever appointment made has been canceled the day of. They deleted my kids file and made me sign a premature removal paper. Making it look like it was my fault, but it has been this horrible company and the way they run the business. They should be shutdown because they do not hold up to their mission statement.Initial Complaint

I took my daughter in Tuesday, Oct. 31st, to receive two crowns on her bottom right molars. I spoke with the dentist and tech and clarified it was for the bottom right molars. I signed a consent for just those two. My daughter (******************* (age 3)), unlike when she got her bottom left crowns, was in a lot of pain and her mouth was swollen. She didn't smile or anything the rest of the day. Wednesday morning, I woke her up with tickles as I normally do. When she smiled, I noticed that ALL of the top right side had silver caps as well. They were NOT supposed to touch the top portion of her mouth, nor did they come into the waiting room to ask me if I wanted to do that the same day. During her routine exam, they only spoke about her bottom molars. They said her top teeth were fine. They were also supposed to use white caps on ALL of her teeth, and keep giving excuses as to why they cannot. It is now Friday, November 3rd, and her mouth is still swollen and she is still in pain. Nobody was able to see me today. They also refuse to give me an Itemized treatment plan. At this point, a lawyer will be contacted.Initial Complaint

October 23 , 2023 I went into ******* Dental for a Wisdom Extraction. The extraction was completed. I was giving a 5 days Doctors note to return to work October 29, 2023. I was told from my employer a doctors note has to be signed and also a Doctor would have to fill out FMLA forms in order for my position with the ********************** to be Covered. I return to ******* Dental On October 25, 2023 at at 8:50am . When I approach ******* Dental the doors were locked once I looked inside some cut the lights off then ran in the back . Their normal operating Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm I stayed up there from a few while other patients arrived. We finally got inside once one of there employees arrive for work. I explained I need more documentation filled out for me to be covered for the leave I was required to take during the healing process after my oral surgery. Thats said they were unable to sign on anything the doctor would have to sign off for them . His Name is *********************** . Ive been going back and forth to ******* Dental for a week now and constantly calling. They have not yet picked up the phone and there constantly closed during normal business hours.I have spoken with the office manager on numerous occasions but have still not been contacted back for more information.If I do not have my FMLA and Short term disability claim filed by 11/6/2023. My Position working for the ********************** will not be protected and I will not be paid for the days I was out on leave after my oral surgery .Initial Complaint

Have been paying for braces since 2022. The only thing that has been corrected is a crooked tooth. There are times where several months have gone with no orthodontist and my son had broken brackets. We just had to wait. He has only had partial top braces on and we keep getting pushed back for more appointments where nothing happens. Now they want an additional $4000 to continue treatment. Went to new ortho and he needs extensive treatment that Sunnybrook has never even acknowledged. He needs an appliance in his mouth to fix lower jaw. Sunnybrook has never shown us xrays or anything. I am disgusted and I want my money returned to go towards new treatment.Initial Complaint

Billing sent me a bill in August of 2023 for my son and husband for dental treatment in December 2022. The charges totaled $750.61. My insurance sent them a payment, and Pine Densitry said they never received it. My insurance company requested they put a stop payment on my accounts until they find the payment received. They have yet to put my account on hold and are still requesting payment without sending me a revised bill. They do not pick up their customer service line. Their contact number is ************. Considering they are so unorganized to handle billing, they should not be penalizing customers.Initial Complaint

My granddaughter was receiving orthodontal services through this company. I did sign an agreement to make monthly payments to get her braces and all of her required dental work done related to the braces. My granddaughter is on ********* but they do not accept ******** for braces. That is the only reason I did sign an agreement. Well for about the last 6 or 7 months, they no longer had an orthodontist available in *******. They stated that we had to go to the Midland/Odessa area to see one. Well, we do not have reliable transportation nor extra money for gas to make it to Midland/Odessa to get the services that we need. I did stop paying on the contract due to not being able to receive the service that my granddaughter needed. Now I called them today to see if they could refer us to someone to get her braces off due to them hurting her mouth since she hasn't seen a doctor in 6 or 7 months. The lady stated, "they do have an or orthodontist available now, but the only way she can be seen if I pay all the months that they did not receive a payment." She said we owe $825.00 but would have to bring in $412.00 in order to be seen. I offered to bring in $100 and start up the payments again, but they refused. This is not fair to my granddaughter, nor is it fair to me, due, to I do not make that much money. I was struggling to make the payments that was set up but was trying to pay it for her to get her teeth looking nice, but I just couldn't make the payments and was not receiving no services. They did not even know when they would ever get someone else to start seeing her again. So, if i had continued making the payments, "who would I be paying?" since they did not have someone to see her? If I had continued making the payments and they never got and orthodontist, then I would have paid them for services my granddaughter never received.Initial Complaint

THREE OF MY KIDS BEEN CANCEL THEY APPOIMENT FOR FIVE TIMES IN THE ROLL, LAST TIME MY KIDS WAS ***** WAS LAS JUNE 2022 AND TODAY THEY CALLED ME TO RESCHEDULE AGAIN. WE TALKING TO ABOUT 14 MONTHS WITH OUT A DENTAL CLEAN UP, IT'S SHOULD BE EVER 6 MONTHS.,.. PLEASE HELP ME.
