When consumers reached out to Benevis, LLC to reschedule appointments the company either promised to reschedule, which never happened, or ignored consumer requests.
On May 19, 2023, BBB sent correspondence to Benevis, LLC to request their voluntary cooperation in resolving the unanswered complaints as well as their cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint; however, the company failed to respond.

Billing sent me a bill in August of 2023 for my son and husband for dental treatment in December 2022. The charges totaled $750.61. My insurance sent them a payment, and Pine Densitry said they never received it. My insurance company requested they put a stop payment on my accounts until they find the payment received. They have yet to put my account on hold and are still requesting payment without sending me a revised bill. They do not pick up their customer service line. Their contact number is ************. Considering they are so unorganized to handle billing, they should not be penalizing customers.Initial Complaint

My granddaughter was receiving orthodontal services through this company. I did sign an agreement to make monthly payments to get her braces and all of her required dental work done related to the braces. My granddaughter is on ********* but they do not accept ******** for braces. That is the only reason I did sign an agreement. Well for about the last 6 or 7 months, they no longer had an orthodontist available in *******. They stated that we had to go to the Midland/Odessa area to see one. Well, we do not have reliable transportation nor extra money for gas to make it to Midland/Odessa to get the services that we need. I did stop paying on the contract due to not being able to receive the service that my granddaughter needed. Now I called them today to see if they could refer us to someone to get her braces off due to them hurting her mouth since she hasn't seen a doctor in 6 or 7 months. The lady stated, "they do have an or orthodontist available now, but the only way she can be seen if I pay all the months that they did not receive a payment." She said we owe $825.00 but would have to bring in $412.00 in order to be seen. I offered to bring in $100 and start up the payments again, but they refused. This is not fair to my granddaughter, nor is it fair to me, due, to I do not make that much money. I was struggling to make the payments that was set up but was trying to pay it for her to get her teeth looking nice, but I just couldn't make the payments and was not receiving no services. They did not even know when they would ever get someone else to start seeing her again. So, if i had continued making the payments, "who would I be paying?" since they did not have someone to see her? If I had continued making the payments and they never got and orthodontist, then I would have paid them for services my granddaughter never received.Initial Complaint

Since 2021 I have attempted to have my sons braces cared for. For the last two years, this institution has failed to provide a simple and basic service in regards to my sons orthodontics he has had bands and wires come from his braces, due to their lack of care, I have attempted to contact them and resolve an issue for having the brackets removed from my now 19-year-old sons teeth for over a year I have been promised callbacks I have been promised resolutions I have been told things would be fixed and rectified, and despite me going to several different locations in an attempt to get this maintained and taken care of two years later, it still has not been done I was told by the district manager that this would be taking care of that she would call me back and follow up and never did. I was told several times that they would fix this issue only to be left with no answers no other orthodontist in the area will take the brackets off of my sons teeth that were paid for in full to this institution because of the insurance paying them already I only want a resolution I only want the brackets removed from my sons teeth. It is not a hard feet. I just want my son to be able to come in and have the brackets removed.Initial Complaint

We scheduled an xray and cleaning appointment for my 7 year old son in late May. On the Saturday before the appointment we received an automated call confirming the appointment time. When we arrived in office we were told the appointment was cancelled because staff walked out and reschedule this appointment to 7/28/23 11AM. We arrived on time to the appointment and were told it was cancelled because we didn't confirm in advance we would attend, this hasn't been the practice at any other office. They said they would fit us in and had use wait until 2PM before stating they are unable to verify our insurance card, believe this to be fraud, and requested $800 to do the cleaning and we refused. They reschedule to 9/28/23. I called their phone today that led me to their call center and inquired the reason our appointment was cancelled. They documented it was cancelled because they didn't have the staff and they did not communicate this with us in advance and lied to our faces about the reasoning as well as accusing us trying to fraud them despite being provided their information from my insurance broker as in-network. I have cancelled the 9/28/23 appointment at this time and am looking for an alternative dentist for my child because this is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

May of 2023, I was notified by my insurance United Concordia I had 3 crowns and one core build up completed. I was told this is your out of cost expenses, I paid those. I have contacted customer service billing and complaints as well as spoken to the local clinic and emailed them, I have yet to receive any feedback, my concern is how this balance of close to ******* will be adjusted? The insurance states in the beginning the procedure was unnecessary and even after the amendment they are no longer willing to look at it, because too much time has passed at this point. I have been an active participant in making sure I was contacting y'all and contacting my insurance constantly. The fact that the time has passed for my insurance to adjust the statement should not be my balance to bare. It's unprofessional and frankly disheartening when a clinic I have been with since the inception is now declining in patient overall care. Why wasn't everything accurately provided to the insurance from the beginning. This entire situation has me in tears and unsure of who to turn to or what to say. It is the responsibility of the front office to be all in when providing cost for services and or the whole truth and be highly informative so as to not leave a customer feeling overwhelmed or lied to with this consuming issue of lacking integrity. I have had 3 medical financial issues with this dental clinic and they seem to continue over and over as of late. Again why not just let me know everything from an economic perspective as the customer, this is something that has always went on but as of lately I am being left out to dry and so is my money. A three minute conversation in communication of caring would have sufficed in allowing me to be aware of my options, or how about something called a pre-authorization.I have paid out $800.00Initial Complaint

My children has been having appointments with ******** Dental for the past year and a half. They were never see for any of those appointments. Every time we show up to the appointment the receptionist tells us that we would have to reschedule due to the fact they dont have any doctors. Im never notified ahead of time. Ive been dealing with this issue for the last year and a half. I can never get a successful appointment to get the documentation I need for my kids school. Not having the forms I need for my children will result they cant attend school. I was now giving an appointment for November which is to far out being school starts in August.Initial Complaint

I paid Topaz dentistry $133.00 cash for services rendered on 4-14-2023 and was only supposed to pay $63.52 per my EOB. I submitted a refund after receiving incorrect information from my insurance company to Topaz dentistry via phone on 5-30-2023 and requested it be expedited due to the fact that they usually take 4-6 weeks to process a refund. I have called several times for an update but haven't been given any pertinent information. I requested a call back from a manager on 7-5-2023 for a update but still haven't received one.Initial Complaint

I waited three months for my appointment just for you to call me less than a week away to tell me you no longer offer this service than did not offer no other alternative this is bad business would love for someone to tell why is this service not offer no more
