9/22/2024 I had a 2:45 appt to donate and after my vitals were taken the tech said to me we are short staffed right now and we want to get outta here we close at 3 if your name isnt called by 3:30 you wont be able to donate today. I said Im sorry that you are short staffed but Im on time you took my vitals and Im waiting to donate now I arrived at 2:30 at 3:35 Im next to donate so they call my name first and several others after to say you wont be able to donate today becuz we are short handed so Im like this is my $100 donation so if you cant allow me to donate then its not my fault that you are short handed you can either allow me to donate or pay me my donation *** they told me I will not be paid this was my final day to receive my $100 they are closed on Mondays and I cant donate on other days however they called the cops on me because I was not excepting theyre short staff I said what has happened in the past Ive been donating for quite some time and they usually stay until everyone is done so I didnt get my money and I wasnt able to donate and the manager had absolutely no empathy for me not being serviced so Im trying to find out if I can get my money after I waited and was kicked out becuz they want to go home on time please help me.Initial Complaint

I went to BioLife today, and when it was time for me to be seen by a nurse, the nurse that I have been seen by had previously made racial comments towards me and my family and multiple threats of using our information for her own personal use the police were involved and they told her to leave us alone and she continued to make threats towards us. Thats why she lost her job at the other site upon today when I seen that was the nurse that was going to be asked the staff did they have any other nurse I could see at location in ******** Texas The lady responded yes but then went and talked to the nurse ****** and told her to complain that I made instead of allowing me to see another nurse. The lady informed me in front of multiple people did not keep my information private that I might need to find another place to go to into Stop trying to get her staff fired my goal is to never cause anyone to lose their job. I just dont want to be seen by someone whos A conflict of interest later on today, I received a voicemail from ****** The manager that I spoke to previously when I donated today, which is 920 2024 stating that she was going to permanently block me from all locations because Im trying to get her nurse fired and she thinks her nurse is a good person which has nothing to do with me nor her. The goal was to never get her Nurse fired, but how can you forcefully make someone be seen by a nurse who has done such horrible and racist things towards you and your family if needed I can bring up the police report on that nurse, but that was not the goals just to make sure I kept my distance from that person now Im permanently blocked for nothing I did not break any rules or regulations but was told that I was blocked because I sent an email about what was going on as well I will be holding all this information for my attorney and the voicemail that is left on my phone from your staffInitial Complaint

During my time with the Bio Life donation center that is located at ******************************************* has have had inexperienced people conducting medical procedures on people donating plasma which have resulted in accidental injuries on people. Recently I went in to donate plasma one of the assistants had to poke me twice for a blood sample because they did not know how to operate a machine properly. Later during the donation process the facility workers were arguing and being aggressive with each other resulting in needle puncturing being not done correctly for other people donating which resulted in blood loss. When it was my turn to donate the worker who was to inject the needle was recently arguing and being aggressive to other workers at the time. When they tried to put the needle in me she was seen frustrated and had missed my vein to insert the needle resulting in sticking my arm again which made me bleed a lot of blood and causing me pain. After the needle was in I was in discomfort as the worker did not seem to care about my status and continued to argue with the other workers and disregard other people. When I completed my donation I was waiting to be disconnected and the same worker was currently working on the machine next to mine and spilled liquids over me while I was waiting to get disconnected. The worker did not seem to care and barely attempted to clean the mess while I was waiting. After I was disconnected they did not seem to care about the situation and continued to act unprofessional. This donation center is hiring people who do not care about their jobs and acting unprofessional in the workplace they need to hire people who take their job seriously. They have inexperienced people who are not being trained properly and are putting other people donating at risk for potential injuries and contamination from liquids that are not being handled correctly.Initial Complaint

**** to the ************, ** location. While doing my intake they asked me if I was allergic to latex. I told her yes, I am and proceeded me through the next steps. I passed the blood work, and took the assessment. Due to me traveling for work I sleep in hotel rooms with that said, I had a bad experience at one hotel that someone must've had latex gloves, band-aid, or a condom on the pillow which made my eye swell. I didn't have a reaction anywhere else. Which means the latex had contact with that pillow. Anyways back to Biolife, no where on there website does it state we don't accept people with latex allergies. To defer someone for this is ridiculous when you haven't had a latex incident in almost 2 years. If it was a recent incident I can understand but it wasn't.Initial Complaint

I have 3 different screenshots of ads and ******** posts by Biolife offering a $240 ************* Bonus for donating at a brand new center within it's first month. I was told this was not what was promised (although it is VERBATIM what was promised) and that instead, the 'bonus' was that they would add $10 to my future donation amounts through December of this year. Implying I'd need to continue donating twice a week for 4 weeks as a new donor, them continue to donate twice a week through the end of the year after that to 'apply' my bonus. When I spoke to the manager to show her how clearly misleading the ads and posts were, she told me that I was new to the process so I just didn't understand the way things work there with their way of doing things. I understand the process completely and have read every word available on the promotion - what she was saying is not remotely close to what was offered. This is blatant false advertising and the manager speaking to me as if I just wasn't smart enough to understand felt disrespectful and unprofessional. She told me she would pass my feedback on to their marketing department, but I just want someone to acknowledge that yes, it was a lie and was misleading and I would like it to be made right by them giving me the money they promised in their ads and online posts. I have also found this same promise made for other openings in other states so this is not a one time problem. I would not have driven out of my way to donate at this location had the bonus not been promised, and now I find I have to keep driving out there two times a week, every week, for the rest of the year to earn this money. earn up The postings clearly say earn up to 750* +240 IN YOUR FIRST MONTH. If you are given a Christmas bonus, do you expect am actual bonus given all at once at Christmas, or to receive an extra $10 per check for the next few months? This business at its Corona and ******** have repeatedly disregarded its customers time and gas money. You go and you are waiting over 2 hours in ******. In ******** I had an appt on 8/26. Checked in and then told they could not see me because they had a 2 hour wait but the line for vitals was empty and the chairs where they draw blood had a section empty and the other area were not completely full. I leave and see an available for Corona and decide to drive out. When I arrived they said that I could not check in because I checked in ******** and they marked it that I chose to leave. I've had to wait over 2 hours each time I have gone. My husband also has been turned away 4 times now and we both barely started donating. ***************************************************. So here is a question. Why don't they have an emergency generator for power outages? The power went out. People were still hooked up. Many with blood still in the bowl. There was no communication on what was going on. 911 had to be called because a woman got sick while sitting there hooked up. Puking and screaming. Probably from low blood sugar due to no return.They should have a generator to at least do returns on the people that need them. Instead, we get treated to 0 communication, flashing overhead lights, a bag of goldfish, water and a 2 month deferral. Irresponsible handling all around. Sending people out with blood loss and and inability to donate and get paid for 2 months because you can't provide a generator to responsibly handle an emergency and get fluids back to people. 0 communication. I was told someone donating under my name and some of my ssn and was deferred and was told Id get a call. No call ever came I call and ****** lied so I called her out she said I had a bad attitude and hung up. I went to bio life and got ****** again for the same lies. Center told me I am on my last warning and now I am permanently banned. The company tells me that i was already given 2 warnings and on 8-18-2024 I was told that the last time I was there i was rude to an employee and now i am permanently banned. Whenever i ask what i did or said to be rude there is no answer. One time i came to center and was called in the office and told something i said was inappropriate but there is never a quote of what i said in their report. I talk freely about issues and sometimes i joke about stuff and i feel someone was offended by something i said but i never was rude to anyone. I was asked by an employee to not talk about certain things so i feel that the center is showing passive aggressive behavior.
