I had bad bruising on my arm as the result of a poorly skilled tech. I was deferred from donating because of the bruising on the last day of my promotional coupon, yet they refused to extend the coupon despite it being their fault I couldn't donate. I understand young workers need to start somewhere, but when their inexperience or lack of skill causes injury, the donor shouldn't be penalized. While donating, I also overheard workers talking about how short staffed they were, resulting in workers performing tasks they weren't signed off to do. Please think twice before donating.

The people who worked there are fantastic. However, they are understaffed to the point of ridiculousness. I came in for my third appointment. Only 3 people where do I g the check ins. One was already 2 hours over shift. Little bit later the 2nd persons shift was over. That left ONE person with at least 2 at computers, 8-9 people waiting for weigh in and blood check and at least 10 people waiting to donate. Person finally said its up to you but if you arent seated for donation by 830 you will have to reschedule. After waiting for 2 hours youre gonna have to reschedule. Fro The few times I have been there the fron end is understaffed. They need to hire more people or quit over booking at the intervals they are doing. Or stop the promotions once it reaches a max ****** of people. Sadly I am not willing to drive the 30 miles , wait 2 hours and then be turned away. Finding one closer to home

Absolutely horrible.. ****** office. First time to go in they had a student trying to handle my equipment. I asked for a professional that is not a student. The next time I came in the manager said I did not have a choice whether to allow a student to assist my process of drawing plasma. Then that day I donated and the first stick the needle was upside down, causes a hematoma and horrible bruising. Then another lady came to stick the other arm and she left the clamp on the tubing and her manager had to tell her the clamp was on ???????. Then 5 minutes into the other arm they blew that vein up as well causing another hematoma. Both arms were bruised for over 13 days. Which I couldnt go back until bruising had stopped but by that time my $900 promised ran out of date bc I had to wait for the hematoma to subside. Never going back to BioLife ****** !

BIOLIFE RADIO ADS ARE ENCOURAGING PLASMA DONORS TO GIVE *** $900 PAYMENT?! TERRIBLE SUGGESTION IN MY OPINION. DONORS SHOULD KEEP THEIR MONEY IF THE CHOOSE TO WITHOUT BIOLIFE TELLING THEM TO GIVE THEIR PAYMENT TO CHARITY. ONLY RICH PEOPLE CAN AFFORD TO GIVE ***Y$900!

I went in for my physical, passed my blood tests, ended up being I could not donate due to a medication. That is OK, Good to know, however I spent two hours there and was not compensated for my time, all I got by the nurse was Oh I am sorry, I have participated in Research Studies that offered money for at least my time, they are only interested in making money, pretty sure I saw some questionable people donating too,

Long lines and poor management compassion. 7 donators were send home after over 2 hours in line. No interest by management to correct the issues

Guys, don't donate plasma. I just came back from donating plasma and they did a huge hematoma for not doing things right. They were also supposed to give me my money from my coupon and they only gave me $20. They did not take responsibility at all. So basically damaging my skin, my veins and my blood is worth $20. DO NOT GO!!

Hello, I signed up and went in to donate plasma today from a referral and for charity. I planned to donate the money from my plasma donations to the ************************* here in *********. As a young troubled kid I was sent there to learn new ways to Manager my anger, attitude and be with people that could help me become a better person before I was sucked into a life of trouble. They are the reason I am a successful and proud parent today, 30 years after. I read up on all of your tattoo policies before I went in. No where does it say you will be denied for having a full sleeve tattoo on one arm. My left arm is a tribute to my life struggles and my kids to remind me to always push forward and what I live for. After checking in for the first time and getting my information into your system, the nurse asked to see my arms if my veins were good enough to donate. It's cold today, so I had a hoodie on. When I pulled up my right sleeve, I was fine. When I pulled up my left sleeve, shes says "oh no, no we cant use you for donation! You cant have arm tattoos..."I opened my phone and showed her what I read and that it's on your site. Nothing states "can not donate if you have tattoos on your arm". It actually states the opposite. Only if your tattoo shop was not regular by the 11 states that do not regulate tattoos and if not one of them a 4 months after period is required. My tattoos are over 2 years old. So, here is what I have to suggest to Biolife before other people come in, wake up early to beat the crowds and waste their time... PLEASE UPDATE YOUR FAQ's to reflect this information. Because you may get sued or cause an unwanted disturbance in your centers!Luckily I'm not in need of the money and I'm fortunate to have a well paying salary job. I was doing this to give back to a charity for the holiday season and to give back to those in need. Hopefully you take this as a positive read and make good on your end.Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

This isn't as horrible of an experience as some but it did require me to check into a care unit. I have been donating to Biolife for some time now, at least two years and I've never once had a problem with donating plasma. I may be overweight but I am quite healthy. I went in and tried to donate and was told I needed to do a physical. It took me two hours just to get to see a nurse and once I did she began drilling me with questions. Eventually a past eating disorder I was diagnosed with as a teen came up as well as my mental health. She discredited all my diagnoses and then took my BMI and said I was ineligible to donate at the time because my condition didn't meet their criteria. Meaning I was too fat to have an eating disorder, likely because I was diagnosed when I was underweight as a teen and since I am better now it isn't as apparent other than taking medication to stimulate and appetite. This RUINED me. After struggling for years I was being punished for getting better. I have gone through so much to get to a point where I can eat comfortably again and now I am back in care because I haven't been able to stomach the thought of eating sense. They are not a care facility they are a plasma donation center it isn't their job to credit or discredit a diagnosis I got from MY doctor. Thanks to them a life long disorder is again in full swing. The screening process is a joke. Nothing ,not even my weight, has changed sense my last donation. It is literal mockery.
