    Signed up for a year at a reduced rate. They cancelled my service at month 10. Customer service was rude. They did not help in any way.

    I THINK THE *** TIMES SHOULD GET OUT OF THE NEWS PAPER BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY CANT EVEN DELIVER ONE NEWS PAPER A WEEK.

    I've been a customer for several years. When i started my subscription two years ago i had an $11.99/mo. Locked in rate. A few days ago when i went to renew the subscription i was told by ****** that my cost is $13.60/mo.

    Started a subscription on 3/4/22 6 month 4 days a week we were off to a rocky start non delivery the first couple of days and then service was pretty good with the exception of a few missed deliveries, told I would be credited for non delivery. I was sent information to update subscription thinking it was time for a new subscription payment ( hard to keep track of non delivery credits) so I updated for an additional 6 months. Technically I still had time left from original subscription. Thinking this was my new subscription deliveries that were starting I suddenly was getting 1 paper out of the 4 papers that should have been delivered for 2 weeks in a row, so I canceled service. The representative said she would be Happy to cancel my service but under their terms and conditions she couldn’t guarantee a refund? Non delivery does not constitute a refund I would have to Die or relocate somewhere the paper was not available. What? She would make a note and someone would call back of course no callback. I got transferred to a supervisor named Laura and as she is going over my account and missed deliveries I should have not even started having money taken out of my new subscription payment, but here I was 6 dollars down already. I want my full payment back ASAP don’t know where it is allowable for someone to sell a service that they can’t deliver on but GET TO KEEP YOUR MONEY?The ladies on the phone are very nice and I really feel sorry for the complaints they must have to listen to on a daily basis. 39 dollars and you still probably owe me credits from previous subscription. Buyer beware. They are very happy to charge your credit card immediately but Laura says she will watch and wait and a refund IF THEY WILL ISSUE (no promises) could take up to 2 months. I feel like it’s the Go Away and hopefully you’ll forget about it policy. But you know who called me promptly Andrew from California robocalls asking me to sign up again. Give them MORE MONEY . Really?

    I placed a subscription order with the Chicago Sun Times on Thursday April 21, 2022. I knew it would take a couple of days for my subscription to start but as of today April 30 I have not received one paper as yet. I called the ********* on April 27th and was told my paper should've been delivered on April 22. I was apologized to and told I would be given credit for the days my paper had not been delivered and I should receive my paper on Friday April 29th. Well I didn't receive a paper. I called the ********* again on April 29 and was told to give them 90 minutes and the delivery person would deliver my paper. I gave the delivery person 2hrs and I still didn't receive my paper. I called back again and told the representative my paper wasn't delivered. I was apologized to again given credit again and told my issue would be escalated higher up and I should receive my paper today April 30th. As of today I still have not received one delivery of my paper. I asked for my subscription to be cancelled and to be given a full refund. I was told I couldn't get a refund but they would continue to work on getting my paper delivered. I could understand not getting a refund if I received at least one of my papers but I haven't received ONE DELIVERY. Why should I the CUSTOMER have to continue to WAIT for them to TRY and get my paper delivered when it's obviouse they are having issues with their delivery staff. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO WAIT WEEKS OR EVEN MONTHS for them to try to get my paper delivered when there's OBVIOUS they are having delivery issues.They wasted no time in taking my payment but now they refuse to give me a FULL REFUND BECAUSE OF THEIR INABILITY TO DO WHAT THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD DO AND THAT'S DELIVER MY PAPER. Why should I continue with this subscription when they are having such problems now??? Once I finally get a paper the problems probably won't get better it will continue to get worse. I WANT A FULL REFUND OF THE MONEY I PAID TO HAVE MY PAPER DELIVERED.
