Hi ********,
We apologize for the confusion. It looks like you purchased this pass from a third-party website. Unfortunately, passes purchased from websites like TicketsCenter, Seatgeek, Stubhub, or Vivid Seats are likely resold to you at an enormously inflated rate over the actual value. ParkWhiz Terms of Service are null and void for any passes purchased through a reselling site, and in case you experience an issue with your pass, youll need to reach out directly to the service through which you transacted to seek a refund/reimbursement, as ParkWhiz is not liable for these sales.
Although we do not condone this, we lack control over the activities of resellers on external websites. We apologize once more for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause.
Thank you,

I purchased parking online from ParkWhiz on March 25 for an **** tournament event in ************ on March 28. The company is listed as the official parking app for the venue, **********************. I arrived at the address listed on the pass from the company. The gate was closed. We blocked around to other entrances for the lot. All were closed. In addition to the $41.10 I paid them, I had to pay another $40 to park in another lot and was late getting to my event.Business Response

I reserved a parking spot using Parkwhiz for a play in DC on Sunday, 30 March 2025. When I got to the parking garage, I found out it was always closed on the weekends. I ended up frantically trying to find another parking location. Parkwhiz must have known the space wasn't available on weekends, since there is a sign at the lot saying it is closed on weekends.Business Response

I purchased tickets to a sporting event. After that transaction it asked if I wanted to pay for parking so I did. I paid $8.52 after fees. I was sent a confirmation from StubHub and said I would receive parking info closer to the event date. The email came from: ParkWhiz *************************** it told me to enter my license plate number and print off the parking paper and place in my windshield. I followed all instructions. I am now receiving texts saying I did not pay for parking in that lot. I feel like ParkWhiz is a scam.Business Response

I paid for and used one parking pass on 3/14 for an event on 3/15, but was wrongly charged for two. I only discovered this charge the following Friday 3/21 when reviewing our bank statement. I reached out and 15 emails later they are telling me to contact the stadium/sports authority when it is ParkWhiz that wrongly charged me twice. I have asked them to investigate to prove that I did not use this pass, but they've said they do not have access to this. They claim they have reached out to the stadium who rejected my refund. First, sharing the used pass # (ParkWhiz refund form allows one photo and it asked for the receipt so I uploaded the receipt of the pass I paid for and used.) I then shared by email the multiple screenshots of the pass # I did use and the pass # I was wrongly charged for. They said this updated info was shared with the stadium and they denied me again. ParkWhiz first shared that the stadium rejected my request due to it being some time after the event, but later said the rejection was due to it being days after the event. I am not sure how this communication transpired since I tried calling the number provided by ParkWhiz and the stadium/sports authority is closed on the weekend. I also filled out another refund request form with the wrongfully charged pass #. When I asked them to please share the name of person, time, and date of whom they spoke with at the stadium/sports authority so I can contact them, I received an email that they will TRY to reach out to them. So, why was I told that they had already reached out to them at least twice and met with rejection of a refund? This is not a difficult case. I was wrongly charged for 2 passes, I used and paid for 1 which can be proven by no scan. Therefore, simply refund the $43.00.Business Response

On 2/18 I purchased a pass from Parkwhiz. I arrived at the garage and received a pass not valid notification. I continued to scan as cars pulled up behind me. I thought the pass might be invalid and figured I could dispute with parkwhiz later. I bought ANOTHER parkwhiz pass using my Apple Pay right there. Pass two was also invalid. There was no parking attendant around and at this point I had a half dozen cars piled up honking and yelling at me. I pulled a ticket from the garage and had to pay the garage directly. At this point Ive paid for the spot THREE times. The agent I filed my complaint with was not helpful and didnt even seem like she read my case as her advice was irrelevant. She went on about a **** account and how the garage still charged them. Which shouldnt be the customers problem? She gave me a $29 credit which is insufficient as the services they sold me did not work. The $29 also only covers 1 of the 2 faulty passes parkwhiz sold me. I also filed complaints w my cc company.Business Response

Hi *******,
We're sorry to hear about your recent experience. Upon reviewing the details of the charge you sent us, it seems that you parked in the wrong location, which is why the passes you purchased did not work.
The good news is that, since both facilities are managed by the same operator, **********************, we've processed a refund for the other booking as well. You should see these funds returned to your original form of payment within 3-5 business days.
Hope this helps. If you need any further assistance, please dont hesitate to reach out!

They scammed me out of event parking. I bought parking that said it was at the venue, but once l reviewed the location where I would park. The location is miles away from the venue and it would make no sense to park there. Can't believe StubHub let's this happen. Attached is a photo of where the event is and where they wanted me to park.Business Response

I attended an event on Feb 21, 2025 and purchased a parking voucher in advance through ParkWhiz. They sold me parking in a FREE parking garage and then when I contacted customer service, they refused to refund my money. Since I was able to park at the location, they decided that I had "redeemed" my parking voucher. They chose not to address the fact that they tricked me into paying money for something that was free. It took them 2 weeks to even bother to get back to me. This is fraud. I want other people to be aware so that they do not get scammed.Business Response

Hi ******,
We apologize for any confusion. ParkWhiz does not own or operate any parking locations; we simply serve as a listing service for the providers. The instructions on your booking indicate that you should present your parking pass at the front desk in the lobby for validation. Additionally, the parking garage requires the license plate information to be used if no attendant is present.
We did reach out to the garage management to request a refund on your behalf, but we were informed that they charge for parking and it has never been free.
My apologies again for the trouble this time around. If you need any further assistance, please dont hesitate to reach out!
The ParkWhiz TeamCustomer Answer

Complaint: 23033377
I am rejecting this response because: It is not factually accurate. The instructions did not say to enter the lobby for parking validation. The garage was not open to accept parking fees because it was under construction. ParkWhiz claims they cannot refund my money due to the parking garage refusing a refund, but the parking garage did not take my money under false pretenses, ParkWhiz did. The company also does not accept any accountability for the service that the claim to provide because they don't own or operate the parking locations. This is disingenuous, as they are clearly contracting with these businesses to provide their service and they are responsible for issues that arise from the operation of their business.
