1 starAwful! Can't hit a 9 hour window (8am to 5pm), lied to by chat team many times who said delay is because of longer appts (when the stops before you are increasing it really means they are adding appts before yours), told twice tech would call ASAP to give me exact arrival time (never happened), and told twice priority notice would be sent to dispatch (made no difference if they were sent). On my 4th chat, I was dumped because I hadn't finished keying in my response within 3 minutes. 7:12 PM recv'd email that said I was rescheduled from 8 am to 5 pm 4 days later. Cancelled it. My issue appears to be with the dispatch office - totally unacceptable.Review fromAngela L

1 starThe worst experience ever. I been paying into the sears warranty for appliances faithfully over 5 years. I put in a service call for my dryer the end of September. I waited two weeks for a technician. He came in I told him it wasn't getting hot. He turn it on and let it run a bit (circuit fid not trip) took off some panels came back and told me some sensors and heating elements were bad and he had the parts in stock. He installed the parts and turned the machine on and my circuit to my breaker panel kept tripping. He said I don't know why it's tripping it's not what I did, you're gonna have to call a electrician and stated he wasn't a electrician. I told him my breaker never tripped before. I asked him to call a supervisor. He went outside to make his call. He came back inside to tell me the supervisor was dispatching a electrician to survey the problem and it would be later that evening before he would get to me. He never showed up. I've called several times just to get the run around. **************** said since the tech was a sears tech, I needed to file a claim with them. When i contact sears they said the warranty has to handle it. The holiday's are now well underway I needed my dryer. I called a electrician and paid him to fix the issue. I even called a duct cleaning service to be sure nothing was blocked or clogged. Now I am afraid to use the dryer which supposedly has new parts which caused my circuit to fry. I'm affraid of a potential house fire. I purchased a new dryer and asked for my old dryer to be condemned and issue my $500, since it wasn't repaired properly, I asked for a $75 refund of my service call, and reimbursement of $250 electrician fee. I have since canceled my contract and no one has reached out to me with a resolution. I feel they sent a young unqualified tech to service this machine and parts were wrong or installed incorrectly.Unsatisfied is a understatement.Review fromGina C.

1 starIf I could leave a negative 5 star review I would!!My 1 1/2yr old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer was making a loud noise and the inside temp was unsafe. A service technician checked it and suggested defrosting the appliance. Since June I have defrosted my refrigerator/freezer 7 times and the service technician has been to my house to check it 4 times. On his 3rd visit he determined the self defrost sensor needed to be replaced. One month later it was making the same loud noise, the tech came out and said that part is already broken so he ordered a new part. ******************** for the part (2 1/2 weeks now and the part still is not available) the refrigerator completely stopped working last week. I called and talked with the service **** and they said they cant schedule a technician because were waiting on a part. There is no contact information for Sears or Kenmore online other than the service department. Ive lost so much money on food that needed to be thrown out and were thankful no one got sick. This is beyond frustrating and almost seems criminal!Review fromDarrell R

1 starSince Dec 29th when I called for service on my washer, I have had a terrible experience with **************** came out on Jan 10th, and I had to order parts. They had scheduled my service again for Jan 16th. On the 14th, I get a message that the part is not in. On the 15th, I get a message that the part is in. No one showed up on the 16th. The Voice message states to go to the website to schedule service. Well, I have no work order number to schedule. I could not get anyone to talk when I called A and E. I reached out to the location of Grand Appliance They gave me the same number I had called. Then I was given another number for Centricity the warranty company. After 5 calls (Now Feb 1) I am told the parts were not ordered. They will expedite the order. At this time The voicemail I got was because 1 part was in. On Feb 2 the representative got irate with me because I asked him"how am I going to wash clothes for a family of 5 if your company is not doing what they are responsible for?" He told me he does want to hear my semantics. This rude representative told me when I call A and E I have to act like I am a repairman. On Feb 4 a part arrived at my home. I called A and E on Feb 6 and was told that I have the only part. The other part is on Back Order. On Feb 2 I spoke to Grand Appliance customer service and they state they have no control. They could call on my behavior if I liked. A complete disappointment for all companies involved. Today is Feb 11 and still no washer to wash our clothes. On top of this, NO ONE is following up with me. There is no compensation except for the $50 that I spend on washing. In order for that to happen, the part needs to be repaired, and I have to submit receipts for a laundry mate. I have never had receipts from a laundry mate before.Review fromTeresa W

1 starServiceman did not even look at my appliance. He took a picture of the serial number and then gave a parts quote. I asked how he knew what was wrong and he said “I’ve been doing this a long time”. Then he charged me. He took a picture of my check and uploaded it on his phone and left. Now I’m being harassed for payment that I gave him the day he arrived. Was at my house less than 15 minutes, no evaluation to find the problem and then charged me more than I had agreed when I scheduled the appointment. Apparently he kept the money too because the company said they didn’t get it.Review fromElbridge H

1 starPurchased heat pump system from Sears and NOT informed it was not a hyper heat system and therefore it does not heat the house in which it was installed. Also warranty paid for does not have service persons available in my location. I would like to give this ZERO stars.Review fromJane G

1 starIve been trying to get a window and door installation done since last June 2022 completed. Things are either broken, missing, I take off work to get fixed and told an hour before show up time that they wont be coming! I would really like my home finished, wanted to sell it months ago and cant because Im waiting for it to be finished. All company does is say theyre sorry and reschedule. Tired of the run around and wish I could have gone with a different company that would have done the job right the first time! Very, very disappointed in the work that has been done so far and still waiting to have it finished.Review fromRamon B
