Received text message from company Glass Mountain. I have no knowledge of this company. They sent no details, no validation of anything including who I was. Does not indicate it is a debt collector by phone and no information on if they are working for another company and if so who.

I received several Calls From Glass Mountain Capitol. They just say with you on the phone, that staying on the phone I agree to be recorded and everything can be used against me. Then while they were verifying my address, the man on the phone should not pronoce State Orchard, and I questioned the street name and then they still could not get it correct, so we went on to the address, they could not prounce ************** and asked me to verify this address, when asked what state I lived in they could not say what state I lived in. Can you explain how I can or anyone can confirm what adresss someone lives at when I am unable to understand what they are saying or even spelling. Then the tatics in which they attempt to say I am refusing to make payment when I am unable to even to understand what they are saying, and this is after I have asked 10 times for someone to call me back that can speak to me that I can understand. I have even gone as far to call them back several time, like 5 and still no one can help me. This has to be addressed as the calls keep coming and leads me to ask, are they collecting this legally? I can't verify.Business response

Same as 100% of all the other reviews. They appear to be running this scam to first get a direct payment from people who do not owe them any money whatsoever, or they hope to learn more about you and get your full contact info when you complain about them on BBB. This company Glass Mountain Capital should be completely shutdown and all assets seized. They are attempting to scam the elderly by sending texts to random numbers claiming the recipient owes money without ever explaining how or why.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** . If this company is willing to target random individuals to solicit payment without cause - it must mean that it is worth the time and risk to do so. Therefore I recommend the BBB decrease their current BBB Rating for this company or I and others who read this on the site will start to doubt the integrity of BBB itself. Since I respect and appreciate the BBB, I came to you to assist. I am very surprised to see the company Glass Mountain Capital LLC has an A+ Rating from the BBB - this makes me wonder about the entire BBB rating system. How can a company, willing to engage in this practice have such a rating? I am concerned but accept that Glass Mountain Capital LLC should never contact me ever again. Should they do so, I will be thoroughly represented.Sincerely,

I received a text message out of nowhere seeking payment of an account. I have no knowledge of this organization or the debt owed. They have never called or sent anything through the mail. Seems like a scam to steal your information.Business response

This company auto dialed me frequently. I called back, and only identified as Glass Mountain Capital, not a debt collector. I have no business with them, or outstanding debt with them, this call was in violation of the do not call laws. I looked them up and found on your site that many have had them call them for no reason. I have had no communication with them outside of these phone calls, no letters or texts.Business response

I keep getting texts from Glass Mountain Capital LLC. I do not know them or owe ANYONE. Stop this harassment. They keep telling me to call ************. I googled this number ************, where the texts come from and also the 855 number the are asking me to call. There are many posts saying this is a harassing scam. I have received two text messages from Glass Mountain Capital LLC on two separate dates saying I owe money, but there is no other information provided. They simply provide a call back number and a link to a payment portal, but with absolutely nothing about who I supposedly owe or how much. I have never been called or left a voicemail. This is extremely suspicious, and I also have no received anything in the mail. I do not believe I owe any money, and will not be providing any payments until I speak to a legitimate person over the phone who can prove who I owe and in what amount. Asking for blank payments over text message is incredibly indicative of a scam.Business response

I have received several texts from Glass Mountain Capital LLC with a link to a payment portal asking me to make a payment, but to whom I am making a payment to I don't know. To my knowledge I have no outstanding debts that should be in collections at all. This company has not informed me of who they are or where a payment would go, the link only asks for a dollar amount. I don't trust this and would not like this company to contact me again. If there are any outstanding debts owed by me, I would like the company to contact me directly.Business response
