      01/03/2024. I received a call from a former employer stating that verifacts has called several time attempting to verify employment but also asking for my DOB and SS#. This also has happened at my current employment. HR attempted to ask questions the nature of the call and ***** did not respond to her questions. No one from this business has contacted me directly and per The general rule under the Privacy Act is that an agency cannot disclose a record contained in a system of records unless the individual to whom the record pertains gives prior written consent to the disclosure.This is bases for a lawsuit. I do not give or nor have i given permission to give my information out to Verifact, LLC or to any customer of theirs.

      Starting 12/12-current Verifacts has been trying to contact my employer about my location, SSN, DOB. I have not given them permission to do so and have no idea who they are and what they want with that information. I would like them to stop contacting my place of employment!       I am rejecting this response because: There should have been no communication to begin with, especially without verifying proper job title allowed to give out any information, and now my personal information was given by another employee to someone for someone I know nothing about! Anybody can say or give anything out about a former employee no longer working there based upon their TITLE and MOTIVES. This is is very unacceptable and whomever spoke to my previous employer needs to to disregard any falsely information given ASAP!!!!!!!!!
