My name is ******************************* and I am a customer of ********************** having purchased a travel insurance policy for my recent trip to ***** and ********. While traveling, both my wife and I contracted COVID-19 and became symptomatic. I followed your company's stated procedures and sought medical care for my illness. I filled out all forms and filed my claims in a timely manner on 6/4/22. To date, I haven't heard anything back from your organization on my claim. Per my plan documents (attached here) Seven Corners specifies that "a decision shall be made on all claims within 30 days following our receipt of due proof of Loss. We or Our authorized designees will pay a claim within 5 working days after we make our decision."When I reached out to customer service they indicated that due to the backlog that I might not receive a decision for 109+ days. This is unacceptable as I've already incurred thousands in costs related to this covered loss, costs your organization is obligated to cover under my policy. This is a clear breach of contract and one that I intend to pursue with my state's ********** of ********* should you not pay this claim in a timely fashion. Please advise on how your organization intends to proceed so I can take appropriate action.Regards,******************************* ************Business Response

bought a cancel for any reason policy through **** ******* on 3/28/21. I chose to cancel the trip. I was unable to get through to the travel agency and they kept giving me unwanted credits for future trips. I contacted Seven Corners explaining this and they replied 10/4/2021 with an email confirming that I filed a claim and that someone would contact me in 7 to 10 days. No one did. I then sent an email asking about status and received a reply that they had no record of claim. Since the travel agency was still extending credits I didn't want, I waited until all the credits expired and I submitted all paperwork for the claim they required, which was received by them via certified mail on 3/15/22. To date, nothing has been done. The send me emails saying they are so busy working on everything but will update with an email every couple of weeks. they have now had my entire paperwork over the *********************************************** sight. (though I have confirmation of my trying to initiate claim last Oct.) My policy states that I am to receive 75% of the cost of the trip. my original cert. number for policy was 50BRJHTFL. My claim number with Seven Corners is confusing. In their emails they refer to claim #****** but on their website it's listed as:#********. The policy was for $1189.60. the 75% due would be $892.20. This is what I want.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I was asked to complete a second application, the response from the business did not review my complete applications. The first application in which they reviewed was done incorrectly. Seven Corners from reading their response dismissed the new second application (the correct one). The correct one was done in May because seven corners let me know I did my application incorrectly. The second application has both claim forms for both me and my son, the ****** doctors note, medical documents, invoices of the payments and the direct deposit forms. Seven Corners neglected reading through all my material.I had not a good start of 2022, I got laid off, got Covid and ended up having surgery on my knee. The trip was canceled due to my medical conditions, as I am in a wheel chair and crutches due to the knee surgery. I am still in recovery. My doctor ****** the medical form in which I am still under his care for this. Seven corners needs to go back and review the second correct application, it is fully complete.

I have reviewed Seven Corners letter and it shows yet another delay on their end. I spoke to EF tours 7/22/22 they said they sent everything to seven corners back in march when everything was canceled. Seven corners is dragging this out longer then this should be, the application process, the medical paperwork and now the ef cancellation. Please process my claim.

I purchased traveler's insurance from Seven Corners prior to me flight to ****** in December. This plan covered a new flight in the event that I tested positive for COVID and couldn't fly. I did end up testing positive for COVID and had approximately $330 charge to rebook my flight back to ******. I had no additional food or hotel expenses as I stayed with a host family. I submitted paperwork including a receipt for the flight as well as my positive COVID to Seven Corners. Seven Corners responded that they now need a credit card statement for the flight. Since I had COVID (as well as do not speak Porteguese) , my host family went to the travel agency and paid for the flight on their credit card. I reimbursed them for the flight with cash. Because my credit card was not used, I am unable to provide the credit card statement. I am requesting a refund for the flight cost as I submitted paperwork to prove the expense.Business Response

I purchased travel insurance on 09/29/2021 through SquareMouth.com. I paid a premium of $218.00. I suffered a loss in the form of medical and hospital fees in Nov/Dec while in ******. I paid costs upfront $10,715.41. I filed a claim (#********) on 01/03/2022. Seven Corners, inc., is responsible for the processing. This claim remains unresolved after 149 days. I have called numerous times and have been promised they would escalate the claim for resolution. I am unable to speak with a manager, and each person I have spoken with has either not followed through on their commitment, or the supervisors and managers are not responsive. I spoke with ***************************** today 05/31/2022 and he informed me the manager handling my case is "not in today, but he will call you tomorrow. I need this to be resolved as I am in dire need of these funds. The amount of time this has taken is deplorable.Business Response

I have purchased purchased travel insurance from Seven Corners **** on 11/26/2021. The travel insurance includes cancellation for any reason.I had to cancel my trip due to covid related travel restrictions. I filed claim number ******** on 12/13/2021, providing all necessary documents. Since then, every month or so I receive a generic email asking for supporting documents. I have provided any possible supporting document since then and it just goes in circles. When I call and manage to get through the support line, the customer service rep tells me they have all necessary documents and I will get a response soon. However, it goes back in circle. I get a generic email asking for more documents without any details. It seems they are trying to push and delay it until I give up.Business Response

My daughter booked a trip with EF travel to *****. The trip was cancelled due to COVID. She also has a medical exemption as she has Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. I filed a claim with the insurance carrier for the trip- Seven Corners. I submitted the paperwork on 2/4/22. I was able to contact an agent on March who told me they would review her case- it takes up to 76 days. I have attempted to email and call but I can never speak with someone. I get a message saying there is a long wait and to request a call back. When I do, I never get a call back.Business Response
