We purchased a 2022 Heartland Mallard Pathfinder P18BHS and although it has all the amenities and the floorplan we were looking for, every single trip has revealed a new issue with poor craftsmanship. On our first trip we had major power issues draining our batteries (plural) and had to have the ** serviced multiple times and had the inverter replaced. In our first 9 months with the trailer, it was in the shop for 6 of them. Since then the fridge does not function unless its on propane, the metal microwave mounting frame has cracked in multiple places, there was wood shavings in our shower drain line that caused the shower to back up, several cabinets and drawer's have shaken themselves loose and cracked, the lower bunk frame support has broken off the wall, 3 of the four blinds have shaken themselves out of the poorly made fragile particle board walls, and many of the interior joint seams are starting to peel away from the walls. All of this after the year warranty has passed. Keep in mind we are NOT off-roading with it. This is freeway travel. We have tried our best to treat the trailer with kid gloves but the craftsmanship and materials are clearly substandard. Definitely would not purchase another ** from them and would advise any and all customers to stay away.Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

Good afternoon BBB,
Heartland RV has reviewed all claims submitted. All parts that have been ordered through Heartland RV have shipped.
The refrigerator concern would need to have been presented to Heartland RV on a Warranty claim for review within the units 1 year Heartland RV Warranty. If during the 2nd year of retail ownership, Mr. ****** or the dealership Mr. ****** had been in contact with, would have needed to have contacted the refrigerator manufacture directly with the concern.
Heartland RV will continue to work with Mr. ******* and the dealership Mr. ****** has been in contact with,by the units Heartland RV warranty.Thank you,

Heartland rv should not be allowed to continue building and selling recreational vehicles. The sub standard quality, components and under capacity products are not only a huge inconvenience for consumers but unsafe for travel and use. We bought a new toy hauler in June 2024, its been in my possession for a total of 10 days, it falls apart just sitting still. The tires actually just randomly go flat under the weight of the unit, yet heartland claims they meet specs, yet the two separate tire shops that helped us out both did not want us to leave with it with those tires still on it. The slide outs are a joke, one stopped working on the walk through at time of purchase and I had to leave it for 2 weeks before ever taking it home. I should have walked away from it then. The very first trip we had to call a mobile rv tech to get the slides to retract just to leave to come home, ive had to rent rvs for trips already planned and paid for because our 100k new 5th wheel is unusable. The warranty work is never ending, and the dealer doing so even said that heartland builds garbage and they hate dealing with them, yet they are in fact the biggest dealer network selling heartland products. I tried trading it in twice now, was offered 40k for a new 100k unit because they know what garbage they are. Time to retain legal aid and go that direction. Makes sense why the local classifieds are full of heartland rvs for half the price of all the other brands. I will never recommend or by another thing with they're name tied to it. Stay clear of this company. Nothing better than making payments on something you can't use, let alone even have in your possession, and spend even more to rent other campers to go on family trips.Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

If you're in the market for a Cyclone Toy Hauler at competitive prices, **** ******* at ******************* in ********, ********, comes highly recommended. Customers have praised ****** expertise and dedication to ensuring a seamless purchasing experience. One reviewer noted, "**** ******* was amazing and helped us with all of our questions and had everything arranged by the time we arrived." ************************ offers a diverse selection of Cyclone Toy Haulers, including models like the 2025 Heartland Cyclone 4006 and 2025 Heartland Cyclone 4008. Look at how long they have been in business and how few negative review exist. Sure they need to do a better job asking customers to post positive reviews. With the thousands of RVs sold by them every year, the current review are a drop in the bucket. I have sold RVs for 35 years. I can explain who makes not only a a quality RV but stands behind it. They do a great job standing behind their product. Always consider the source on a review and the years of experience.Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

I had a poorly manufactured roof on my 5th wheel camper. At first, heartland tried to claim it was water damage and completely my fault without any evidence of it being such in order to not pay out warranty to have the roof repaired. In order for them to understand that it IS infact very poor and shoddy manufacturing, I had to pay out of pocket to get it into a shop and have the roof taken apart to show that there were broken rafters from factory, lack of sufficient support, some rafters simply not attached and at bare minimum, maybe 60 screws in the entire roof of a 45' 5th wheel. Not only is this a huge liability on their part due to incredible oversights, but it could have collapsed, caused injury, or who knows what else while traveling many miles up and down the east coast. Heartland refuses to cover payment to have the roof PROPERLY redone. Instead, they want to cover bare minimum, even after acknowledging that a roof repair/replacement was easily a $15,000+ job. In order to rectify this, I want heartland to cover the repairs in full that brought it up to proper specs, plus diminished value since the ceiling inside is still showing signs of sagging due to the poor manufacturing in the first place.Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

I have been trying since April to get stress fractures on my Heartland Bighorn Traveler 38MB fixed. Camping World Statesville was unable to attain the warranty approval to repair the fractures. This camper was purchased new by me and my wife on March 19th of 2021 which would have made the warranty according to Heartland in *******, IN void after March 19th of 2024. Camping World of *********** did not report this to ******* until August when I had reported it to them on April 9th 2024. Warranty would have been withing 2 weeks of being exhausted. I have had the camper measured, weighed, photographed, tongue weighed and have bent over backward to do anything and everything for Elkhart and Camping World that they requested. I grew tired of waiting on Camping World to respond since they were waiting on warranty repair approval from ******* so I called Heartland in ******* Wednesday November 27th 2024 myself to get a response. Elkhart explained to me that the warranty on the camper had expired and they were willing to fix it if I would pay for the shipping to and from *******. Roughly $1,500 each way for an Est total of $3,000. The only reason they have been stalling and waiting me out is so that could do exactly what they did and put the bill on me. This unit has a MSRP of $92K paying this much for a camper and having it basically crack in to is to me completely unacceptable even if the camper was 20 years old. I have learned a valuable ******* but it took three times to get it right. Do not purchase anything from Camping World if you want to use it. The most valuable ****** is DO NOT BUY A UNIT FROM HEARTLAND since the transportation to them costs more than any repair they agree to do. Today I have found local business to take care of the repair of my camper from top to bottom and have also found a fiberglass repair shop to repair my camper for less than the shipping back and forth to *******. Heartland really should have taken care of the transportation to repair.Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

Good morning BBB,
When there is a sidewall crack on a RV, there are multiple possibilities as to the cause, that is why information was requested to provide Heartland RV. It is imperative to know the cause and have that resolved before any repair attempt is performed. If the cause is not eliminated, the percentage is high that the crack would return. Heartland RV is working together with Mr. ****** and Camping World ************ **. with a resolution that all parties agree to. Thank youReview fromRod B

2023 Heartland Fuel 395 Hello, I am writing to you because, as new owners of a 2023 Heartland Fuel 395 (purchased March 28, 2024), we brought our camper in for warranty service work to address several issues, one we feel is pretty major, which our dealer/service provider would not correct. Camping World located on ****************** in ****, ********* is our dealer/ service provider. Since just before our first trip, we noticed a loud squeak in the floor in the kitchen area in front of the refrigerator. See attached video, taken on May 10, 2024. It is loud and annoying. It is in a high traffic area. ********************* said they would not fix it (under warranty) because Heartland told them it would not authorize it to be fixed because it is within specs. We feel this is unacceptable. This campers MSRP is upwards of $100,000. We have had a 5th wheel toy hauler in the past. Two of our family members have similar toy haulers. None have had an issue such as this. We would appreciate someone from Heartland contacting us to address this concern. Response:This has been reviewed by my management team. Please see page 6 in the attached owners manual we have for all of our RVs. On page 6, under what is not covered, does state Accessories and equipment that are working as designed, but which owner is unhappy with the design. We always want to do what we can to help all of our retail customers. In this case, ********************** respectfully declines warranty assistance for this issue, and will continue to work with you under Heartland RV warranty policies and guidelines. *. ***** Toy Hauler TeamHeartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

We purchased a 2022 Torque 350 from Camping World in *****, **** in October 2023. When we started using the camper in March of 2024 we started noticing all the issues with this camper. Two of the 3 slide rooms were leaking, outlets were not working, fuel station would not turn on, from the factory there was a s**** installed into a water line, patio clips breaking off and this camper was in the service department multiple times, they even sent a service tech to my residence to see how to fix this. Water had been entering the interior of the camper for months, countless emails had been sent between the dealer and Hearthland themselves. They fixed most thing and then added an additional seal to the slide room calling it a 'fix'. This is not a fix but more of a band aid! Now I can't even get a call back from Heartland! Assuming they are just waiting for the warranty to run out and hang this all on me. If you are in the market for a camper I strongly recommend looking at a different brand!Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

We bought a Heartland Milestone camper in 2021. Ever since we drove it off the lot there has been nothing but issues with this camper. Its a complete lemon. Heartland only wanted to fix the issues up until there was no more warranty. The amount of issues weve had were pages long, issues that shouldnt have ever taken place. The roof trusses were put on backwards, our tank blew thru the floor because it wasnt attached properly, were two of the biggest issues, the list goes on. I will never buy another Heartland camper! Heartland tried to tell me they stood behind their product fixing what was wrong but will no longer fix continued issues obtaining still from the ongoing issues that they created!! DONT BUY HEARTLAND!!!!???Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

I bought a 2022 heartland pioneer brand new. 2 years later in a camping trip I set in my recliner and fall through the floor. My warranty was out so I investigated the issue myself. After finding that the vent hose was discontinued from the fresh water tank due to poor workmanship I started looking for answers. Heartland informed me that I was going to have to file an insurance claim because there was nothing they could do to help me. So now I have a two year old camper that I cant enjoy because either insurance or myself will have to repair. Not a happy camper and will not buy a heartland again. They could if offered to help pay for the cost but no.Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC

Bought a 2021 Hartland Prowler 250 BH travel trailer. Complete POS. Dining tables and walls etc held together with cheap staples and tiny nails. We got the complete RV care warranty from Explore RV ********** **. They have not honored one thing wrong with it. We have had to fix everything that has fallen apart on it out of pocket.
