PAR serviced my washing machine and got it up and running. Mike was polite, showed me all of the problem parts, and fixed the machine in a timely manner on the second trip. The only reason he couldn't repair it on the first trip was because he had used the only "hub drive" he had on his truck earlier that day. He rescheduled for today, was prompt in advising me when he would arrive, and did a neat job in my very small laundry room. I will be calling Preferred Appliance Repair for all my appliances should they fail in the future!

We definitely recommend PAR as well. From scheduling the appt to the service call; all were professional, courteous and on time. A rarity these days. We scheduled an appointment through the Lexington office. We live in Louisville. I was told upfront of the expected cost, $129 Service Call + $40 FLAT Labor + Parts, if needed. Their local technician, Bill R.. called before he arrived, fixed the problem with our 20 year ago Gladiator garage refrigerator within an hour. Total cost $169. We’re extremely pleased with PAR. Thank you.

Highly Recommended!! Neat, tidy, on time, and had the correct parts to repair our Maytag dryer in 1 visit! We scheduled the service call using the Maytag website and entered our dryer model number and serial number. Technician Rob P******* did an excellent job. Total cost for parts, the service visit, and labor was about $192. Extremely reasonable. Will definitely call them again for any other appliance repair. Thank you!!

PLEASE BE AWARE! I bought a new microwave in March . I had it professionally installed by the stores installation team. Shortly thereafter, I began having operating issues with it and called an electrical company. They tested it and said it was pulling too much voltage which indicated an issue with the microwave. I called manufacturer and they connected me with PERFERRED APPLIANCE REPAIR . The technician came out and said it needed parts. TWO MONTHS later, they notified me that the parts were in and scheduled a repair date. This time, TWO technicians came out. (One was from the first visit). Immediately upon looking at my microwave, they informed me they could "not touch it" because it was "hard wired" and microwaves were supposed to be "plugged in". When I explained that it had been professionally installed, they wouldn't hear of it, got their tools, and left rather abruptly. I also asked the technician who had come out on the first visit, why he didn't say something on his first visit , he had no answer. I then called the original professional installers . They came out and showed me that by simply taking out two screws, you could clearly see that it was indeed "plugged in" and NOT "hard wired" as the PERFERRED APPLIANCE REPAIR technician had indicated. PERFERRED APPLIANCE REPAIR DID NOT CHECK TO SEE HOW THE MICROWAVE WAS CONNECTED TO ELECTRICITY! I have enlisted the help of another company and they knew exactly what to do. I just cannot understand how a repair company can have such inept technicians. JUST BE AWARE!

This company is great! I had my washer, dryer, and refrigerator all worked on. The technician had the parts on hand for the repairs needed. He arrived within the time frame, he was very professional, and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with this service.

We bought a dishwasher from Lowes and not even 2 months later it wasn't working. Called this company to have it looked at. Made an appointment for that friday morning from 8am to noon. Was called the day prior that a technician would not be able to show do to required training and was asked to reschedule to noon to 6pm, and I would hear from the technician before arriving. After waiting till 4pm with no word I called the office and was told the technician was finishing up last service call and would be right over. At 4:30 I received a call saying the technician all of a sudden had an emergency and would not be coming to my house and I needed to reschedule. I was frustrated as this was my only day off, and I would either have to take another day off and pray they showed up this time. My wife said she would take off a day the next week. I was rather frustrated with the company and that I had already had to reschedule once and now twice, and the lady on the phone was starting to get rude and hung up on me the second I said my wife would be there. I wish Lowe's would just give me a new dishwasher so i wouldn't have to deal with them.

Washer needed repair. The service tech was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Said part would be in the following Thursday so he would install that Friday. Was scheduled to arrive between 8am and noon. A very important work phone meeting popped up for noon that day so when he did not arrive by 11:40am I called the main office for them to let him know I would be home but on the phone and would leave the door to the porch, where washer is located, unlocked. Was told he was running late but would be there early afternoon. Since I didn't know exactly when he'd arrive or when my call would conclude, I conducted my call in site of the driveway so I would not miss him. By 2:30 pm, when he still had not arrived, my husband called the main office for a status update and was told that the tech was at my house at noon but left a few minutes later, apparently because no-one was home. This sparked utter confusion and my husband asked to speak with a supervisor. Supervisor indicated that the tech was not there at noon, the office person misread the ticket and that he would not be coming out at all that day because the part did not come in. He explained that I was told at 11:40 that he was just running late and no-one told me the part did not come in. Supervisor stated that they had no idea why someone from their office would tell me that as the part was not be available and thus, the tech would not be coming out. Communication in business is everything and that is the key elimate this company does not possess.
