Our electricians, Chris and Sam, were prompt, polite, friendly and professional. They explained the problem we had and kept us informed as they worked. We have never used Allen Electric before but will call them again if necessary.Review from T. m.

My mom had them out for a problem she was having, the price was for 49$ to check things out and give an estimate. After looking at things and yes I said looking only he told her to call Lge it was on them and gave her a bill for over 200$....that's 200$ for doing nothing but look.

Tim, as explained to you and your mother the $49 was a dispatch fee to get the truck to your mother's home. Our licensed and insured electrician showed up when we said we would and provided her with an upfront price. Upon her approval, we performed a diagnosis to determine what was causing the issue. It was determined that it was something that LGE had to fix on their end, if we could have fixed it then we would. Our technician even went above and beyond to help your mother by calling and having LGE out to her house to fix the issue before he left the property.Customer Response

I don't have a problem with the 49$ I do have a problem with the xtra 200$ for doing nothing. I've told just about everybody I talk to about what happened and not one person has said you all were in the right. They all seem to think the phone call to lg&e cost her the extra money.Review from christine m

Best electricians I've ever used. Very honest and up front with options and cost. Clayton was very knowledgeable about the hundreds of questions we had. Listened to all of our concerns with all the patience in the world. He was very down to earth and respectful. Couldn't believe how low the bill was for all the time he spent in our home. The secretary, that answers the phone, for Allen's, was also was so nice and understanding. Worked us in that same day related to my Husbands business being placed at a stand still with the electricity going in and out. AAAA++++ service. Having them come back next week to do more work that is for our pleasure not necessary. We will NEVER use another electrical service.
