Bought my Mercedes one year ago and paid $12k. I attempted to trade it in yesterday for a $30k BMW M5 and they only offered me $2k trade in value. I know that my vehicle is not perfect, but KBB still puts the trade in value at $7k. My sales associate was very nice and listened to my wants, but with such a low trade in offer when they sold it to me a year ago for 6 times the amount, I had no intention of moving forward. In that year there has been no damage to the vehicle, it has actually been very well taken care of and maintenanced properly. I even had to put new tires on right after purchase because Dan Cummins sold it to me with bald tires with wires showing. I get they are in the business of making money, but it shouldn’t be to the point of taking advantage of the customer.

Worst place to get a vehicle! Not 24 hours after we bought the vehicle it had a check engine light on, called them and they made an appointment to look at it 2 weeks out! When we took it back up for service they said nothing was wrong! Today, the check engine came back on and is shifting hard! Clearly, it has transmission issues and they expect someone to drive it to there service center?!?! We live an hour and half away! Wtf!??!! DO NOT GO HERE TO GET A VEHICLE! You could get the same **** off Facebook marketplace and cheaper!!!!

Bought a used Trax in July 2023. Came with power train warranty. December of 2024 the engine needed to be replaced due to a rod going through the engine. Mind you the motor had less than 60,000 miles. Thankfully the motor was covered under the power train warranty. Pick up the repaired vehicle and take it home. We notice that occasionally it will jump and shutter when first started up but no codes are popping up and no service lights. January 2025 I go to back out of my parking spot at work and the dash starts flashing the service engine light and "stability track" pops up on on the dash which is the exact same thing it did when the rod went through the engine. I rush the vehicle back to the dealership and they say the coil pack needs replaced. Well we had the coil pack replaced last summer and it was under warranty with a third party company. Dan Cummins says they won't replace it under that warranty because they haven't heard of that company and don't work with them. So we told them we would pick it up the next morning to take to our regular mechanic since the part and labor is under warranty. Meanwhile we still had to pay Dan Cummins $200 for them to diagnose the issue. We get there that morning and the vehicle was still in the locked shop and they were not prepared for us to pick it up. We wait around and finally get it out of the service department. Take it to our mechanic who replaces the coils within 24 hrs. We go pick it up and when we start it the vehicle stalls out. Try again to start it and it starts up but is shaking and sputtering again. We took it back to our regular mechanic and are waiting to hear back. We talked dan Cummins and another dealership and are between 4 -6 thousand dollars upside down on this used hunk of junk. Cant even afford to trade it in because of the negative equity jacking up the car payment on even 20k vehicle.

Terrible customer service and I will tell everyone I know to never go there or any place they own , ever !!! My in-laws got a 2025 Trailblazer and it has 948 miles on it , and it lost all the coolant . Upon inspection I found I pin sized hole in the pressure line leading to a censor on the top of the motor . When the car heats up and the line is pressurized, coolant sprays out the hole . When I rubbed my finger across the pin hole you could feel how the line ruptured outwards. So after the service manager gave the the run around about not getting a rental, they proceeded to tell them it was a rodent that chewed the line !!! So they fed them a line of crap and told them, they would fix it but next time they wouldn’t. Sad thing is , the service department can tell people whatever they want to not cover the cost of the repairs and most people won’t have a clue ! Shady and sad place to deal with . So please everyone that reads this , DO NOT GO TO DAN CUMMINS !!!!

I Bought a used 21 Subaru because i could not afford a new one. I am 76 and was really excited about the purchase until i was sold a crazy expensive Multi contract warranty that jacked up the price by thousands of dollars to the point where i should have bought a brand new Subaru. i had just picked up the car. Here are some of the warranty cost . 1 a paint less dent repair service agreement, 998.00. 2. Limited Motor Vehicle Service agreement 4000.00. 3. Road hazard protection Agreement Tire and Wheel 1,240. 4. paint and fabric defense 1,995. Gap insurance 895. I thought it over and determined that due to the high mileage purchasing the additional was not a good idea so i canceled all of the above. At least that is what i thought and was told by Blane a finance person that he would put in the cancellations. It never happened! I contacted the company and was told that i could do it but it would be prorated. I was also informed that the 1,995 for paint and fabric was non refundable. I was never told that anytime during the Sale or signing of agreements. I was only told i could cancel.anytime. I want my 1995 refunded also. So if your looking to buy a car used or new. you may want to go elsewhere and save yourself a lot of grief. This company is not honorable! I would not recommend them. They will respond and make me out to be wrong but i am totally right. They are unethical and only care about profits however they can get them.

I will never use Dan Cummins again , none of their branches , NOR will I recommend them to anyone I know . They are the typical SLIMY car dealership pit to screw over the general public and when you call them to talk to someone in charge or to get a answer for something GOOD LUCK, you will get the typical run around . They patch you through to about 5-6 receptionist …. THEY JUST CANT SEEM TO GET YOU A MANAGER OR SOMEONE IN CHARGE . I LEASED A 2021 Silverado in 21’ from them . I laid down $9000 on this lease . I was already looking good from the start . It was a 3 year lease . A year out from the leases maturity. They were calling me several times a week and leaving messages. They were practically begging me to bring the truck in and trade it in early . They kept mentioning how I had Equity built up in the vehicle. When I do take the truck in to get it looked at and to do a trade . It turned out I owed them money . And they kept changing the figures on me , and switching the papers out in front of me . My girlfriend which is a district manager at her place of employment was even getting confused and couldn’t keep up….. their strategy is to confuse the hell out of you . They gave me 3 different figures on how much I owed them . It was $300, then $3300 then it went to $4400 . I eventually said I just want to give the truck back I will walk away . They said you owe us money . …. Remember folks I laid down $9,000 at the signing of this in 2021 . But somehow I owe them $4400 now ??. They said you can get out of owing us money if you buy a car from our lot . I did look at some Toyota products. I found a 4 runner that I liked & decided to get it . When I signed for it and went to get the keys .They was only 1 key fob , no keys and no key to the glove box . NICE HOW YPU FIND THIS OUT AFTER YPU DONE SIGNED THE DOCUMENTS IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT.After this purchase. I will go out of my way to detour anyone I know from using this place . They are crooks and will trap you .

Snakes, Crooked, Unethical. Bad ,Products and Service. Will swindle you. Leave you walking and penniless. I've purchased 2 cars . Will never see my money again. First was an astronomical horrendous deal ,second was a bad deal, 15 credit pulls and the car was only purchased out of assurance from Dan Cummins Mechanic in writing was "checked out". Car is broken down, brakes are going bad and possible electrical issues .

They will conduct hard inquiries before you reach a deal. They say ‘soft pulls’ but I had 4 hard inquiries done before bringing in a possible trade in for an appraisal. Credit monitoring alerted me and I left and will never return. I filed disputes with the credit bureau and let the financial manager know that I have sent this to my attorney to evaluate. Stay clear of these two dealerships. (Paris & Georgetown)

YET ANOTHER Dan Cummins Chevrolet Buick of Paris horror story... Here we go.. bought my 2012 Dodge 3500 from them on January 12th '23 for $21k, the truck had 193k miles. Fast forward to today(Sep 25th, '23) took the truck to trade it in on a newer dually, they appraised it and came back to let me know there is a hole in my frame and theyre only willing to give me $10k... we go look. Sure enough. There it is. 1/4" tall, maybe 1/2" wide... I'm sorry but it takes more than 8 months to rust through 1/4" coated steel... mind you, all I've ever done is routine maintenance on this truck. We asked to see the appraisal of the truck when it was traded in (6 days prior to me purchasing it in Janurary). They were unable to provide the report...shocker. We were never informed of a bad spot (if its there now, it was there then. This truck has not seen salt or snow in the 8 summer months ive owned it!) When I purchased it, I was told the truck was checked over, had a small oil leak, and a spot in the driver's seat. It was dark when we picked it up and it stayed overnight that night and went through detail before I picked it up the next morning. I've purchased multiple vehicles from Dan cummins, had plans of purchasing more but this is a bit distasteful in my eyes. Feel free to share. I don't want anyone else to have the same experience I have. Side note. My salesman Dan W****** was nothing but helpful and apologetic, but in this instance his hands are tied which I understand. I guess the big showroom and pretty new cars don't fix the character of a company who is clearly quantity over quality smh. Best of luck if you plan on buying a used/pre owned vehicle from them. Apparently the #Dancumminsfamily is full of secrets and #DanCumminsDeal isn't all it's cracked up to be. And to think. I was prepared to spend $45k on a truck with them today. We'll see if they attempt to make it right...I'm not going to hold my breath! Feel free to Share this information to hopefully warn others.
