      I will never use Dan Cummins again , none of their branches , NOR will I recommend them to anyone I know . They are the typical SLIMY car dealership pit to screw over the general public and when you call them to talk to someone in charge or to get a answer for something GOOD LUCK, you will get the typical run around . They patch you through to about 5-6 receptionist …. THEY JUST CANT SEEM TO GET YOU A MANAGER OR SOMEONE IN CHARGE . I LEASED A 2021 Silverado in 21’ from them . I laid down $9000 on this lease . I was already looking good from the start . It was a 3 year lease . A year out from the leases maturity. They were calling me several times a week and leaving messages. They were practically begging me to bring the truck in and trade it in early . They kept mentioning how I had Equity built up in the vehicle. When I do take the truck in to get it looked at and to do a trade . It turned out I owed them money . And they kept changing the figures on me , and switching the papers out in front of me . My girlfriend which is a district manager at her place of employment was even getting confused and couldn’t keep up….. their strategy is to confuse the hell out of you . They gave me 3 different figures on how much I owed them . It was $300, then $3300 then it went to $4400 . I eventually said I just want to give the truck back I will walk away . They said you owe us money . …. Remember folks I laid down $9,000 at the signing of this in 2021 . But somehow I owe them $4400 now ??. They said you can get out of owing us money if you buy a car from our lot . I did look at some Toyota products. I found a 4 runner that I liked & decided to get it . When I signed for it and went to get the keys .They was only 1 key fob , no keys and no key to the glove box . NICE HOW YPU FIND THIS OUT AFTER YPU DONE SIGNED THE DOCUMENTS IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT.After this purchase. I will go out of my way to detour anyone I know from using this place . They are crooks and will trap you .

      Snakes, Crooked, Unethical. Bad ,Products and Service. Will swindle you. Leave you walking and penniless. I've purchased 2 cars . Will never see my money again. First was an astronomical horrendous deal ,second was a bad deal, 15 credit pulls and the car was only purchased out of assurance from Dan Cummins Mechanic in writing was "checked out". Car is broken down, brakes are going bad and possible electrical issues .

      They will conduct hard inquiries before you reach a deal. They say ‘soft pulls’ but I had 4 hard inquiries done before bringing in a possible trade in for an appraisal. Credit monitoring alerted me and I left and will never return. I filed disputes with the credit bureau and let the financial manager know that I have sent this to my attorney to evaluate. Stay clear of these two dealerships. (Paris & Georgetown)

      YET ANOTHER Dan Cummins Chevrolet Buick of Paris horror story... Here we go.. bought my 2012 Dodge 3500 from them on January 12th '23 for $21k, the truck had 193k miles. Fast forward to today(Sep 25th, '23) took the truck to trade it in on a newer dually, they appraised it and came back to let me know there is a hole in my frame and theyre only willing to give me $10k... we go look. Sure enough. There it is. 1/4" tall, maybe 1/2" wide... I'm sorry but it takes more than 8 months to rust through 1/4" coated steel... mind you, all I've ever done is routine maintenance on this truck. We asked to see the appraisal of the truck when it was traded in (6 days prior to me purchasing it in Janurary). They were unable to provide the report...shocker. We were never informed of a bad spot (if its there now, it was there then. This truck has not seen salt or snow in the 8 summer months ive owned it!) When I purchased it, I was told the truck was checked over, had a small oil leak, and a spot in the driver's seat. It was dark when we picked it up and it stayed overnight that night and went through detail before I picked it up the next morning. I've purchased multiple vehicles from Dan cummins, had plans of purchasing more but this is a bit distasteful in my eyes. Feel free to share. I don't want anyone else to have the same experience I have. Side note. My salesman Dan W****** was nothing but helpful and apologetic, but in this instance his hands are tied which I understand. I guess the big showroom and pretty new cars don't fix the character of a company who is clearly quantity over quality smh. Best of luck if you plan on buying a used/pre owned vehicle from them. Apparently the #Dancumminsfamily is full of secrets and #DanCumminsDeal isn't all it's cracked up to be. And to think. I was prepared to spend $45k on a truck with them today. We'll see if they attempt to make it right...I'm not going to hold my breath! Feel free to Share this information to hopefully warn others.

      Not had the car even two weeks engine light came on ,took to the local dealer and to have the problem fix is going to cost me over $6;000.00 Rip off

      Second visit. Brought my 4 year old son with me to finalize loan,pay 6000 down, and drive back to Lexington. Met with my salesperson. He asked if I had the down payment. I asked for a pen. I wrote two 4 - digit numbers down. both were my debit accounts and their cards were in my pocket. I told him that was how I intended to pay. 2 hours and 5-6 signatures later i had lost patience with the sales guy brokering my deal because he would not sit with me long enough to see the deal through. We had spoke for probably 8 minutes out of the 2.5 hours I was there. I had previously paid a deposit on a vehicle and was there on this day to buy, I had told him this on the phone. Instead my time was wasted and I began to feel out of place, embarrassed there with my child as he started getting hungry and irritated. So I shredded the deal we had on the table and tried to haggle a discount. They brought me a new salesperson who told me that they couldn’t except debit transactions larger than $3000. So yeah, I got there at 6p and started hitchhiking back to Lexington around 8:20p when we left.

      Our salesman of DC told us that the tags of the vehicles that we traded would be paid and he did not have the right to do that and not We are left with a bill that DM employee betrayed the trust us to get a sell during the pandemic and we trusted this company that stood on faith and christianity with what they tell people their word is everything. Well we are left with a bill Of 918.00 and the GM said we will. Pay $300 since you have no proof he told you that , Really? Don’t treat people like this . Our loan was messed up and had to go back and fixed it after looking over it . Treat others how you want to be treated.

      Ms. Fillhardt, I can understand how frustrating this can be. Sales tax and Kentucky personal property tax are two separate consumer tax obligations. As a convenience, we collect and process sales tax for each customer we serve at the time of their transaction. As a policy, the dealership never participates in Kentucky personal property tax. These values are assessed at the start of each tax year and the consumer is notified by the state of their personal obligation. I can understand this to be confusing at times and especially when purchasing a new vehicle. We have adapted this policy out of fairness to all the customers we serve.       I bought a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover sport last week. Their customer service was good however the car began to over heat after driving about 45 mins… before I even made it home. So we called the guy who sold it to us, as he told us to do if we had any questions whatsoever. But he wasn’t very helpful at all. He just told us they were closing so take it by Walmart and put antifreeze in it. And he was aware that we were getting it that night so we could have it to take on vacation the next morning. So as we were putting it in we noticed there was absolutely no antifreeze, oil, or windshield wiper fluid. And that’s the only things my bf checked on it. And There was papers from the previous owner and pizza crumbs under the seats as well. It quit over heating after we put it in. But the car makes this awful grinding sound whenever we make turns. We’ve called up to Dan Cummins the past 3 days they just put us on hold then send our call to a voicemail but they still have not returned the call. I live an hour away and dont even think my new Range Rover would make it there without breaking down…. Very disappointed we ended up buying from them. It was a lot of money & feel like we was completely taken advantage of. It ended up making us miss 2& a half out 5 days of our vacation. I wouldnt recommend buying from here

      Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!! I had originally posted a good review for this dealership, but after the experiences that I have with this business, I have decided to edit this review and share this with whomever shall read it , this review WILL NOT be recanted. Upon going into this dealership the buying experience was a total joke and thats just the beginning. We purchased a vehicle that needed some repair work done to the car and after some time haggling about it the dealership decided to give us a due bill for the work to be performed. I went to take the vehicle in for service at my appointed time and after 7 hours later, yes I said 7 hours later, this is what transpired. It took them 2 hours before they even looked at my vehicle to decide it needed 2 ball joints replaced before they could do the alignment and balance, ok so they paid for those, which they should have. They never did get back with me during the process to let me know how things were progressing, but 5 hours later it was supposedly fixed. The next day that my husband drove it to work and it made a horrible sound, metal on metal and had a terrible vibration, which it didnt before we took it in. He called the service department and after speaking to Service Advisor/People Relation manager, they said have our mechanic look at , and they would reimburse us because we were too scared to drive it. Upon having our mechanic look at it all he had to do was take his fingers and could turn the lug nuts on the right tire, they werent even tightened!!!! Also they couldnt get the lug nut out of the left tire, so they took a hammer and chissel and cut it off and caused damage to the rim around the lug hole. Upon discovering this and being very upset, my husband contacted Christina and the Service Manager David and demanded that they make this right, if that wheel wouldve came off it wouldve been casatrophic. Well they said bring it in they would look at it, well thats alll they have done, they wont answer or return our ca
