      They'll cheat you out of money by: 1) Not telling you up-front that you're paying for a subscription. I thought it was just a one-time cost. I suddenly received a phone call from my bank telling me that my account had been charged. 2) When you try to cancel the subscription, they have you press one of two buttons. One button is labeled "Cancel", and the other is labeled "Cancel and Keep Records". I thought the "Cancel" button was meant for people who don't actually want to cancel, while the other option was for people who wanted to cancel. I clicked the "Cancel and Keep Records". My card was charged for an additional amount without any confirmation whatsoever.

It also states that it will automatically enroll into a subscription to be billed monthly for $24.95 if the customer does not cancel during the trial. We provide an Order Summary on the checkout page with a checkbox for the customer to acknowledge they read our Terms of Service and Billing Terms, as well.

      When I was running the free report, the site said: "Full Report will include (when available)VIN Details Vehicle Details Vehicle Specs Title Records ***************** Vehicle Owner(s)Public Records And More"So I clicked "VIEW FULL REPORT". And bought the trial subscription. Once I had the report it said I needed to buy the premium VIN report to get some of that information, it previously listed including the owners! I am disappointed by the lack of transparency.

      I have also looked on my end to see if I could help you get the results you may need, but I wasn't able to. It could be that the license plate might be restricted access under the Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) protection.

      I can confirm that your account is canceled and I have issued a refund of $2.95 and $9.95 since we were unable to provide the information you needed. You should expect to see the amount appear in your statement within the next 35 business days.

      Service was lied about. Didnt provide the information or lack of, then claiming I needed to spend more money to access what was supposed to already be included. **************** hung up once they understood my issue because they had no response and knew I was right.

      The site doesnt work and wont even let me sign in. It charged the card even though I got a confirmation email about the cancellation. At least when a charge goes through you get to use the service. In this situation, they took my money and gave me nothing in return. This is a very sketchy site.

      This company declined my first credit card (but the charge went through acording to my statement later in the month). So I tried another credit card and it went through. So I paid twice, due to them saying "declined". Also reading through these reviews, most of them are negative. Why does this still have such a high rating? It doesn't make sense. I trusted it ebcause of the BBB rating and am very dissapointed.

      They will not honor opt out requests.After multiple requests they send an email and it says you responded to fast try later. After trying several times they block you from the site.

      So Far so Good. cost of premium report is bit high at $ 9.95. It says unlimited reports are free so why the charge? Will read the report they issue and see what's up then.

      They con you 2.95 charge turns into ***** then take away membership so you don't even get to use your money's worth of service. If I had to pay $24 for the month I should be able to use the service for the month you cancel my membership before I can even use the rest of my 3 weeks just because there was a dispute from PayPal that y'all want so you get to keep your money why can't I get the services scamming people out of their money and fraudulently not providing the services that you are scamming us for we pay for it why can't we get it then y'all need to be shut down

      I needed info on who owned a property. I paid the $2.95 charge for what I thought was a one time charge. I carefully read to make sure I was not signing up for a subscription because I cant afford it. My paypal is now being charged $24.95 for a subscription that I did not agree to. I did however get the subscription cancelled. I only used the service one time. Youd think they could refund my money. I guess thats how they make their money. Beware.

      Searched on license plate and paid the $2.95. Was charged $24.95. A week later. Contacted customer service and they say I agreed to the payment when I certainly did not. Trying to cancel the membership was nearly impossible. And they didnt have any information on the license plate anyway. This is definitely a scam and reading over these reviews I can see it has happened to many people.
