      First off we haven’t had an accident in 10 years. Recently had 1 minor accident 2 months ago, and they keep delaying the process since they can’t find a reason to deny our claim that should have seen done a month ago.. Just found out they are closing our claim due to the fact that we’re not helping them!? Apparently they can’t do there job with out the customers help?. If we haveto do anymore helping I’ll need a W-2 first!.. Anyway this was our FIRST & ONLY claim with this scam of an insurance company and they’re looking for any reason to deny the claim. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY!!!

      I had an accident in January. I notified GEICO. Fast forward until August, I've spent $10,000 in rental fees, repairs, etc. GEICO has failed on every level to represent me as a client. Further, it was even suggested to me that if I don't like my coverage, I can go elsewhere! I had USAA for years and NEVER had a problem. DO NOT SHOP AT GEICO!

      Geico is a shady company. I was a customer for many years before adding my ex boyfriend as a driver. My policy was recently cancelled supposedly due to concerns with a claim that was filed by my ex boyfriend, apparently they did some kind of investigation due to racing concerns and as far as I know there was no proof to back that up whatsoever. All claims on the policy were filed by my ex and he worked with the adjusters directly and the claims were paid. The claims were for his vehicle that was registered in his name (Charger). The claims were not listed properly by incompetent adjusters his name wasn’t listed on the claims so the claims are now affecting me negatively. Geico didn’t reach out to me personally or didn’t offer to just remove him as a driver on my policy, they just didn’t renew my policy. I wasn’t treated fairly and now I’m being quoted ridiculous rates from other insurance companies due to claims I never filed personally and due to the negligence of Geico.

      If i could burn down this place i would!
      I recently had my catalytic converter stolen from my car and have not been able to use it since. I went ahead and used my rental coverage with Geico which clearly states they would cover up to $1500 towards a rental. Turns out the catalytic converter couldn't be ordered anywhere and when finally found it is on backorder for 2 months! Made several calls to Geico begging them to extend my rental for at least another week or whatever they could do and instead of trying to help me out they cut my rental short at $1200 when i could have gotten another week out of the agreement. I have been without a car for a month already so i called Geico back to see if I could get reimbursed for this month's payment since I had no access to my car nor it is drivable and they told me I would be unable to get reimbursement because I should've terminated my coverage when i got the rental in order not to pay for insurance.
      Moral of the story: I have been paying them $400/mo since 2016 and this is my first claim. They cut me short on my rental car coverage and I have no choice but to give them $800 free money on top of all this for the time I am waiting for my car to get fixed. This is the biggest car insurance scam I have ever seen in my life and they should be in jail for doing this to their customers, not to mention also not rewarding their agreements. I hope they all burn in hell and when I get my car back I am never ever again getting coverage through them. I will make sure everyone I know and social media will be bombarded with this story. Unbelievable!

      Geico is the worse company. After 5 years geico cancel my policy because I had a reckless driving on December 2017. I told them that they knew when they offered me coverage, now they want to cancel my policy after 5 years. This is ridiculous. I called them to see why they are doing this in 2022. Why they didnt told me this before they offer me the policy. This happened in 2017. The rep told me that she was sorry. That's all. This company is a fraud they take your money them kick you out after 5 years.

      Geico is the worst insurance company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Let me compare Geico service to another insurance company to fully illustrate just how awful their service is. I switched from USAA to Geico 6 years ago when I got married. I had been with USAA for probably 15 years and had always been happy but getting married it made sense to put us both on the same policy. My premiums have always been paid on time and in my 32 years of driving I have only had 3 insurance claims, one of which is the reason for this review. I was driving home when out of nowhere a large deer jumped in front of my car that I had just purchased. I literally made the second payment on the car the day before the accident. I had the car towed back to town and began the nightmare of dealing with this insurance company. Even though I was the one in the accident they have never spoken with me, only my husband. They have never even asked if I was injured. When we asked about a rental since I still need to be able to get to and from work was told we didn’t have that option on our policy. A week later we finally started getting communication saying that my car had depreciated in value $5,000 in two months, the tires were bad, and the car was “mostly clean”. This is a car didn’t have a scratch on it prior to the accident. This car looked like it did the day it left the dealership. They sent us comps that not only were not even in the same part of the country, but the comps booked more than what they were offering us until they did some magical math to make every car worth less than what they dealerships were asking. So now it looks like after years of collecting premiums and safe driving when I need my insurance company to live up to our agreement and cover my car they are not going to. I will be out not only the $2,000 I out down but the $2,000 to license the car and still owe another $2,000 on the car loan.
