      Terrible!!! I had the service for 5 years, only supposed to be 2 but they didn't terminate service as they were supposed to according to records. Withdrew from my checking account monthly for 2 years before I realized what was going on (I am terrible about onine banking and do not keep track like I should, ****** learned). Called again and told that account never cancelled, even though I had the date and the cancelation ref #. They terminated service that day. I payed over $2000.00 in those 2 years when service was supposed to be cancelled. They have now taken $318 out of my checking acount to pay for the equiptment that I do not have and have not had in 2 years. I called today and was basically told "oh well". Important to note that the entire time I had service, it did not work. I was never able to get service, not 1 day. They reccommeded all this additional equiptment that I needed to buy to help. I bought it, never helped. Not an ounce. So, unless you want to be screwed out of service and pay alot of money for no reason.....I would ***** clear of this company.

      I can't use any online programs that require internet stability. All the investments I've made that require such is useless. This is a direct result of choosing this brand internet to handle my needs. The advertisement does not inform you that you will not be able to stream online movies, you cannot play online games. You cannot trust this internet service for business. I'm losing on my investments because of this.

      I just moved from out of state and had this internet installed today. I contacted customer service within the first 30 mins to cancel this horrible internet service. I paid in full for the equipment on September 29, 2024 and moved to the rental house October 28, 2024. The service was installed today, November 2, 2024. I have credit card transaction showing I paid $414.97 on September 29, 2024. When I contacted them they said they never received a payment then I reached out again but this time they stated they saw a payment for $299.99. Well by the end of the conversation they stated they sis not receive a payment and told me I would have to do a reversal or dispute the transaction. I have screenshots of the chat and an email stating I did not pay them along with my credit card transaction that shows I paid $414.97! Stay away from this company!

      Where to begin, so when I had my dish installed the installer broke my fence. Then we were having issues with reception and they have you repeatedly plug it in and unplug it to try to resolve the issue. They send you equipment to try to fix it yourself and eventually send a tech to your home again. I went without service for 5 days which set me back in school courses. On top of that the installer took my old equipment and turned it in. The next billing cycle I was charged for the equipment. I called them immediately to see why I was charged three times the amount I normally pay. I was informed that one of their employees didn't read notes and I should not have been charged that amount. She also stated that it would take ***** hours but I should see my refund shortly after. I waited a week and called again. I was then told that they couldn't issue me a refund until I paid my next bill in November. I stated that they never should have taken it in the first place and it was a form of theft. I was reassured that my refund was being processed and I would see it in ***** hours. Again a week later trying my best to be patient, the same conversation was had and I was pretty much told I wouldn't receive a credit until after November. These people are crooks. They took things they should have never taken in the first place this is THEFT at it's finest anyone else who would have done this would have been fined. There should be penalties for companies that abuse any situation.

      HughesNet internet it’s a scam… this company it’s charging me $150 to fix a router that they installed 6 months ago, internet being bad every month. Service always crashing and you can’t never see any movies because it will just stop from loading. I got this service through there partner Dishlatino and they recorded that I will get a year contract and now they are telling it’s two years contract. I really really want to cancel this service but this are charging me $400 for a service that never works. I personal feel a victim because they are charging for a service that don’t even work. Hughesnet it’s not a company it’s not for hardworking customers it’s not for internet services at all. I asking just to wake up from this nightmare. Give me my money back now. Please please don’t do business with criminal Hughesnet

      Please people don't give them your money choose someone else I paid for my service two weeks ago and still don't have it I will be contacting corporate the installer is by far the most rude obnoxious lazy person ever he continuously rescheduled my appointment over and over again then took it upon himself to go as far as cancelling my service today 10/18 I don't even feel comfortable knowing such a horrible person has my address phone number etc I made a complaint yesterday 10/17 on this same individual after him refusing to connect my service in a timely manner told me he was a contractor and did what he pleased I told him well get me someone else to do it he claimed my area was the area he serviced which is ************ so if you're in this area please don't choose them ain't no telling what will happen

      Even after 2 months of not being able to watch television because the HughesNet system does not work along with several phone calls and even a service call I am very nice to HughesNet when I call them on the other hand I talked to a total jerk yesterday when I called to cancel my account When I complained about him trying to charge me $450 for cancellation fees I mentioned that the system never worked He responded back with that I should have done better research For your information I did quite a bit of research and the only additional research I should have done was whether or not Hughesnet was going to lie to me when I asked them if I could stream television with their crappy system Peace ?? *** *****

      AVOID AT ALL COSTS! So not only does this wifi barely even work but they don't tell you about the 2-year contract you are signing just by starting their service which then can lead to a $200+ cancellation fee. The thing about this "wifi service" is that they are truly just scammers praying on a population that they know has no choice but to go through them because they service areas deeper in the ***** where no other wifi is available. Anyone who is working for this company knows they are s******* everyone over and karma knows too.

      Hughes net is the worst service I have ever had to deal with. The service goes from slow to no service at all. **************** is of no help they either give you an excuse or you talk to someone that doesnt speak English so you cannot understand them. Unfortunately we are stuck with them for about 6 more months or we have to pay over $500 to cancel which is ridiculous considering the amount we pay per month for little to no service is astonishing. I would never recommend Hughes net to anyone at this point the company is a joke just like there service.
