I keep recieving this absolute hate fueled garbage publication in my mail box without requesting it. This should be criminal since there is nefarious data collecting intent behind all of this and there should be an inquiry made into what and why they are collecting data. They may also be receiving federal education funds while pushing political narratives which should be investigated immediately because of the tax implications.

      Business response

      03/06/2024

In response to the complaint by Mr. **** ***********; we do accept referrals from our subscribers on the envelopes of the Imprimis publications mailed out. We do have topics that inspire thought and stimulate debate. We are sorry that Mr. *********** was unhappy with mail received from Hillsdale College. We do have an unsubscribe link on Imprimis publications that are sent out by e-mail. Constituents that receive Imprimis by mail simply need call or email to be removed from our mailings. Our phone number and email are listed on the back page of every Imprimis publication that is mailed out. When you visit the Hillsdale College web site home page, at the bottom of the home screen there is a phone number to call, or you can click on “Contact the College” and it will give you information for the College Operator at ************, and the Imprimis ************ number and e-mail. You can also get there by clicking on the menu and select the “About” tab. You will see a list that shows “Contact Us.” After selecting “Contact Us,” it provides the local ************ number; the *** ******** number; and email that you can request to be unsubscribed, or ask Imprimis staff other questions about Imprimis.

We have complied to Mr. ***********’s request by taking him off the mailing list on all sites and marked his record as “No Contact” as of February 28, 2024 as he requested. Mailings are set up 4 to 6 weeks in advance; there is no further action that we can take after a mailing has already been sent to the mail house for distribution. He may receive a few more items that have already been mailed, but after that, all mail should stop. We are sorry that Mr. Lane has had a bad experience with Hillsdale College Imprimis and want to assure him that we have done everything that we can to honor his request for no further contact by Hillsdale College.

      Sincerely,
      Hillsdale College Imprimis

Received the following text out of nowhere from this company. Never heard of them or had any type of business with them and DEFINITELY did not sign up for their text list. Redacting the URL bc its probably a bad link. "Bill from Hillsdale here. Are you concerned about the weaponization of the Dept. of Justice? You should be. Share your views on this emerging two-tiered justice system. Take our survey now: X-XXXXX.XX/XXXXXX" stop=end

Without my knowledge or consent, I believe my sister signed me up to receive the horrible hate-filled racist piece of garbage aka: Hillsdale College "Imprimis". I never had the opportunity to tell my sister how truly disappointed I was to EVER have been added to this EVIL waste of paper publication because she died and 4 days later I survived a Stroke and the surgery that closed the hole in my heart. As soon as I was able to, I continued to try to call this "college" to be REMOVED from their Mailing List and it has and is ALWAYS a voice message that instructs me to try again; the only way I was able to speak to someone was when school was out of session and I asked to speak to a janitor on the weekend and he even told me it was/is nearly impossible to be removed from their mailing list and he wasn't wrong!

Hillsdale College from Michigan sends me monthly newsletters titled IMPRIMIS. I do NOT want to receive these. I do NOT know anyone who's attended school there and I wish they would STOP mailing these stupid newsletters to me. The latest one arrived yesterday. The front of the newsletter was an article by Rand Paul titled "Lessons from the Great COVID Cover-Up." Really?!? An institute for higher knowledge that circulates newsletters with lies and misinformation?!? Please forbid Hillsdale from mailing this garbage to my home. Thank you.

This school continues to send me their bigoted publication, Impremis. I never went to this school. I never gave them permission to send me their propaganda. I have requested to be removed from their database and I'm still receiving their horrible publication. I want them to STOP sending me anything and everything! I am not, and never have been, a supporter and, having read some of their narrow minded, science-denying articles, I would NEVER support this school.

I have been requesting to be removed from the Hillsdale College mailing list since ****. During that 30-year period, Month after month, they send me political newsletters, donation solicitations, alunin news, etc., etc. At one point I even had a lawyer send in a demand for the mailings to stop. Since that time I have changed addresses twice and the mailings still continue. This is particularly painful for me, as I was traumatized by a series for racists attacks, including a cross-burning outside my dorm room, while I attended Hillsdale College. Any help would be very much appreciated.

      Dear ********************,

We have received your correspondence of January 26, 2024,regarding a complaint placed by ***************************** (******), #********. In searching our records, we found only an emailed request made by her in January 2024,providing an updated address and asking us to use this new address for any future correspondence. Nevertheless, we will mark her record accordingly as requested in her complaint. This generally takes a few weeks to take effect, as there may be mailing in progress that we cannot cease.

Hillsdale College strives to be respectful and professional in our marketing and interactions. Please be assured that we will take all necessary steps to suppress all future correspondence.

      Thank you,

In response to the complaint filed by Mr. **** *********, we are sorry that he was still receiving emails and appreciate his patience and understanding while we were addressing this matter. We have suppressed his name, address, phone number and email on our suppression list. We were unable to find a record relating to any of Mr. *********’s information in our database. If the email came directly from Hillsdale College there would have been a way to unsubscribe at the very bottom of the email. If Mr. ********* happened to press on a Hillsdale College advertisement on another web site, he needs to look at the emails/advertisements he is receiving and it will probably direct him to that website where he can unsubscribe. He can also try clearing the Cookies on his browser/computer to see if that would stop it. We are very sorry that he has had a bad experience and is receiving these email/advertisements. We have done everything that we can on our end to suppress these emails/advertisements and have complied to Mr. *********’s request to have no further contact from Hillsdale College as he requested. We sincerely hope this will take care of the problem.
      Sincerely,
      Hillsdale College Imprimis

I am rejecting this response because:there is no unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page in question. I don't appreciate people forcing their views on me. Every time I turn on my computer, their web page comes up asking for a donation. They are very annoying and i feel that they shouldn't be allowed to randomly express their beleifs to me whether I agree or disagree with their views.
