      If I could give United Healthcare zero stars, I ******** experience with *** has been nothing short of frustrating, and unfortunately, it's part of a pattern Ive noticed across multiple interactions with them. When my employer switched to ***, I was assured that my existing primary care provider (PCP) was in-network. That turned out to be false. *** then randomly assigned me a PCPsomeone I had never heard ofand when I called to schedule an appointment, I was told the earliest available date was 11 months away. Thats unacceptable for anyone, let alone someone managing an ongoing medical condition.Because I need a referral to see a specialist, I contacted *** to request a change in PCP. A ***resentative told me the new *** assignment would take effect immediately and that I could go ahead and schedule an appointment. I didbut then noticed in the *** app that the new PCP wouldnt officially be in effect until the following month. When I called to clarify, I was told the original *** gave me incorrect information, and Id need to cancel the appointment. No apology, no urgencyjust a ******** make matters worse, the ***resentative stayed on the line at the end of the call to prevent me from leaving a customer survey. That speaks volumes.This is not a one-off. My family and I have experienced ***eated issuesconfusion, miscommunication, and a noticeable lack of accountability. Theres a reason *** has such poor reviews. Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to consider different providers. Healthcare is too important to be managed this poorly.

      United healthcare is the worst customer service. There ever was, nothing but a bunch of liars, i paid one payment and they took two from my bank, assured me they were going to refund the other payment, i would have it 5 to 7 days, i waited a week, call them back up. They said, I am not getting a refund, after the fact they told me, I was, spoke to 3 different people who should not be working there, not to mention their insurance is shit!

      Worse experience with insurance EVER.. no medication, no diagnostics, no reliable personal service. Cancelled my insurance after being displaced 7 addresses and 7 cell numbers Florida's hurricane season. However I called repeatedly to fix these issues. Never done. Just cost me ****** out of my SSI. Thieves liars and deceitful actions all around. You are criminals..

      United healthcare has been horrible. I have myasthenia gravis and they will not approve IVIG treatment. In the denial they sent a list of things I must meet. One of these items is to take a checkpoint inhibitor such as ********. People with MG should not take this medicine it is contraindicated and could cause me to go into a crisis or worse die. The manufacture of these medications even say if you have MG do not take this medication. Its scary how a health insurance company gets to play doctor and dictate your course of treatment. If they knew anything about this disease they would know we can not take these medications. This is very dangerous of UHC. You have never treated me. My doctor knows what is best. Shame on you UHC for denying me life saving treatment and trying to force me into taking a medication that could possibly kill me.

      This is the wet worst insurance ever!!! In October I was supposed to have a simple til of my big toe removal. The insurance didnt approve that first surgery, so we pushed if a week, the second week the surgery wasnt approved. The MD and his price staff called every day and still no approval. We pushed it back another week. I then called and requested that the approval be expedited. By October 24, I was so sick that I couldnt eat anc was throwing up. We ended up in the *** When the ** MD unwrapped my foot, my entire toe was purple and had to be removed. I was in the hospital for a week. I went to wound care the following Tuesday and wound up back in the *** needing the other 4 toes removed. Because of all this, I havent been able to work since October, Ive had to do 4-5 months of hyperbaric chamber treatment, had to have 3 surgeries and have cataracts, that require surgery. I feel that Inerd some sort of compensation due to their gross negligence. Trying to call them is a joke! I either get transferred 4-5 times or I get put on hold for 30+ minutes, with no one checking in on me. My MD did say that in his 35 years of practice, hes never seen anything like this,

      I have an *** with Optum and since I started contributing in November, they have not sent me my card, and I have not been able to gain access to my online account to use my funds. I have called twice and spoken to 2 different representatives who have not been able to get my into my account and I have sent 4 emails to IT Support (email given to me by customer service), with no response. I have also requested a card be sent to me again since I never received one and it has been almost 2 weeks with no card delivered. It feels borderline fraudulent that I have been contributing to an *** out of my paycheck for months and I am not able to access my funds through no fault of my own. I will now loose all the funds I have contributed since 5/31 is the forfeit deadline to spend them.

      I dont want to leave 1 star but i have to. Honestly this place is horrible about Prior Authorizations. You get the same story they assure you wont be denied but always always denied!! This place is tge worse! Looking for new insurance company now!!

      What a joke of a company and I hope you go out of business. Making my 95 year old dad pay $480 for a $30 prescription of ******* is outrageous!!!! What an insult to an old man who worked all his life and PAYS FOR YOUR COVERAGE. Your company should be ashamed of itself for doing this and I hope your company goes down.
