**** ******* is just another Obamacare failure! **** your Dr. **** your plan! We all see now that it was the beginning of the great universal healthcare! They REFUSE to cover any name brand meds no matter how many hoops you jump through! Millions of us are paying ******** $ deductibles on top of the 2 to ****** $ monthly premiums and yet we have NO other option but OptumRx! Who gave them the power to decide what is best for us? The meds you see on commercials, don't even bother asking your Dr. **** ******* will not pay for it unless there is a generic available! It's complete bs and our government lets this go on even tho it's a burden on all of us.They keep saying they want to help fix the mental health problems plaguing this country, well START HERE SO PPL CAN GET THE MEDICATION THAT WORKS FOR THEM! THIS IS UNFAIR TO US WHO HAVE TO PAY A RIDICULOUS PRICE FOR HEALTH COVERAGE!

I was trying to buy a *********** and I did it online. Because I am 66 and only had ******** part A and B, I had to answer a series of questions, My answers were all No and they then asked me if I would do direct payments from bank every month. I checked yes and gave them my bank information. A day later I received a email stating I had a question they needed answered and to call this number, I did and spent hours on the phone , being transferred and automated response , it was nightmare. I finally got someone to handle this all the question was " did you have supplemental plan before applying for this one" I had answered yes on the form because i have supplemental plan D, well then 2 weeks pass and I look at my bank and they took the money, $112 dollars , so ii call them and ask when i would get my paperwork. They tell me on the phone when i pay the balance. BALANCE!! WHAT! They had approve me me, but they wanted $398,56 I told them "I can't afford that!" and why would you take 112 out of my account without me knowing any of this? So they canceled the plan and I have to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get my money back. They are rude , lying and most of them don't speak English. I talked to representatives who could not understand what i was saying and they had accents like they were from *****. so had to put a stop payment at my bank which cost me 15 dollars because i don't trust them and I join aarp which cost me. so all in all I'm out 150 dollars just for trying to sign up for a plan. If you deal with these guys be Careful the people they hire could careless and they use a lot of computer generated time wasting I give them a minus 100 stars if i could

What a horrible experience in dealing with this organization. They tell you everything will be fine in transferring your prescriptions. Then they email you saying you have to tell your doctor to transfer the prescription. Then the doctor transfers the prescription only to find out it will cost me 3 times what I was paying at a local pharmacy. Then I ask them to transfer the prescription back to my local pharmacy and they tell me they cant, and Ill have to call my doctor to call in a new prescription. What a waste of time!!!!! This company does not care about the patients, and have no quality control. Do not use this service.

This company is a scam. Over $13,000 of premiums countless medical bills upgraded coverage and guess what I still owe the hospital $9,000. They should be ashamed of themselves. Im flabbergasted.

We’ve had an opportunity to review the comments provided by the reviewer above and provide the following in response. Our records show the reviewer applied for coverage under six (6) Policies offered by our Company. These Policies include our Premier Choice Specified Disease Policy, Premier Choice Accident Only Policy, Premier Choice Health and Wellness Policy, our Accident Protector Policy, Premier Vision Policy, Secure Dental Policy and a MedGuard Critical Illness Policy. The Specified Disease/Illnesses and Accident Only Policies (NON-ERISA), provide first dollar benefits for services related to Specified Disease/Illness or an injury as listed in the Premier Choice brochure and Policy schedules. The Specified Diseases/Illnesses and Accident Only Insurance Policies are “excepted benefit plans” under the Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) but are not considered “minimum essential coverage” under it. Therefore, they are not governed by the terms of the ACA and the application for coverage is subject to underwriting approval. The availability of benefits is subject to the definitions, provisions, exclusions and limitations of the Policies. A unique feature of the Premier Choice Policy is the availability to purchase a Short Term Policy, referred to as our Premier Med product, on a one-time right and guaranteed basis without any underwriting or evidence of insurability, in the event the Insured has an event in which additional coverage is needed. Our records indicate that the reviewer contacted our office to purchase the Short Term Policy for his Spouse, due to a medical-surgical event. As a result of the reviewer’s comments, we have conducted an audit of the claims’ file for the Upgraded member and find that several claims were excluded from coverage as a non-covered condition, in error. Corrections have been made to the affected member’s claim file and additional benefits of $12,670.94 have been issued to the various providers of service. Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter and we hope that we have adequately addressed all issues raised in the reviewer’s complaint. Michael F********* Manager-Consumer Affairs

I think every time I call customer service; I get a different answer than I did the day before. They lie all the time The app says one thing and their email says another. My doctor is sick of dealing with them let alone me. I am sorry I even began using OptumRX.
