      I have ordered gas on 1/8/2025 with delivery date of 1/23/025. On 1/22//2025 I received a message stating their pretty blue truck won't be there on the 23rd, but within 3 days. Called on 1/27/2025 trying to find out where my prepaid delivery is. I was told tomorrow 1/28/2025. It's now 1/29/2025 and no delivery. I called again and was told a manager would call me. No manager, but a rep called and said now it SHOULD be Friday 1/31/2025. I'm at 5% in the middle of winter and a multi million dollar company can't supply me in a timely manner. They charged me a rental fee for their tank but can't get to me to fill it even though it's pre paid in full. So far I've been lied to 4 times and still in limbo wating for delivery. I will definitely be getting a new supplier when this tank runs out.

      Ferrellgas left my family without gas for nearly two weeks. We were unable to heat our home, without hot water, unable to use our range/oven, unable to dry our clothes, and had pipes freeze during that time. I understand that they are particularly busy during the winter months but they made no effort to acknowledge the emergency we were experiencing. They did not care that we have two small children and that my wife is pregnant. They refused to expedite delivery, refused to sell me the tank so that I could have it filled by someone else. Their managers refused to call me at all. This was the most disgusting interaction I have ever had with a company and recommend that all avoid this company at all costs.

      Extremely terrible experience. We have been without heat and hot water as well as a means to cook for 4 weeks now. Our entire house runs on propane. We paid over $700.00 4 weeks ago and 4 times they have pushed back our delivery in the last few weeks with no explanation why. There were no notes in their system today when we called today to ask where the delivery was. Once again they are pushing our delivery back a few days as they say and I go into surgery tomorrow. This has been one of the worst months of my time here in Alabama with how cold it has been and we are suffering due to this company. They will not issue us a refund back so that we can use another propane service

      Horrible! Save yourself a headache and find another vendor. Took 3 months for tank to be installed and in below freezing weather it’s been 3 weeks and tank is still not filled with gas. Was told 2-3 days. Have called many times and always get the run around and have been lied to several times with dates given but no follow up.

      A Ferrell gas customer for 3 years now. Paying customer. Never late always do a prepay. Got busy didn't realize how low my propane was human error. I was at less than 5% ended up running out that night. Who's house is lp ran, heat,hot water and stove. Called to get an emergency fill say they don't offer it during the heating months. When thats the season they need it. Told me it would be 12 day window offering no solution. After 5 days of having no heat or hot water of a house with a infant and the home of two first responders and a utility work. I Call and told them to come get my tank if they didn't come up with a solution. They said they could have someone either be there the following Monday to pull the tank or fill it. As a day later still no propane and I've watched two of their trucks drive by my house since this happened. Awful customer serive. Terrible call center reps. Lieing managers. They would rather loose a customer than keep a paying customer.

      My mother is 81 years old and is living in an apartment in Lexington Indiana. There are other elderly tenants along with an infant and a child. They have Ferrellgas for their propane, and it is used to heat the apartments. they are on an automatic refill once the tank reaches 30%. A call was placed 12/27/24 to have them come refill the tank, since it was at 30% and we were having a winter storm approaching. This is now 1/20/2025 and still no propane. They have stated a few times that they would be out the next day, then it gets changed. They seem to take weekends off and holidays instead of taking care of their customers. This is very poor customer service. I will be contacting the State representative and filing a complaint as well. Concerned Daughter

      I've been a customer of Ferrell Gas for over three years and just had one of the worst customer experiences in some time. I called to schedule a refill, and while they said it would be delivered in a week, I ran out of gas after two days (my fault). Three days later, I called to check the status, only to find out I wasn’t even on the schedule. I politely waited, and the following Monday, they promised delivery that day. The driver did come, but instead of turning on the gas, they filled it and shut it off, falsely marking that no one was home to light the pilot light. This was untrue, as I was home all day and watched the Ferrell Gas truck leave my property. When I couldn't get any gas to flow, I tried to call Ferrell Gas, but they were closed. It took me two hours to figure out the gas had been shut off and figure out how to light the pilot myself. When I called to report that this happened, the company was dismissive, saying they would log an “incident” and that someone would call me back. No one did. This level of poor communication and well, right out lying is unacceptable. I’ve since switched to another gas provider and cannot recommend Ferrell Gas. The new provider, Suburban Propane, will be here within 24 hours if we are ever out again and charge nothing for this service. Ferrell Gas will not do this, even for a surcharge. Suburban Propane also charge less for the gas. Ferrell Gas, do better.

      They charge 30-40% more than the competition and optimize deliveries around maximizing profit (i.e. when propane is priced the highest). I had them switch me to will call rather than keep full for that reason mid 2024 and verified the change online. Furthermore I kept updating my tank level online and as of today it's at 60%. Thus I was shocked to see them deliver at one of the highest rates of the year today, without an order. I still see place order in the account which wasn't there before I switched to will call and all of a sudden they dropped my online tank reading to 34% and decided to deliver and pocket about $200 of my money in excess of what I'd pay in the summer.

      First, 5 stars is not enough! I called Ferrell gas on Monday and was told it would be roughly a week for delivery. They arrived by the morning of Wednesday. From the initial call (Stacie) to the delivery driver (Dean) my experience was WONDERFUL. I find Ferrell Gas to be honest, fairly priced and customer focused. I HIGHLY recommend.
