I am being sued by said collection agency for an account that I have never heard about. I have tried contacting said collection agency with no luck getting any information back on fixing this issue. This is ridiculous. I now have to pay for a lawyer to defend myself in a case that I have zero knowledge of.Business response

Like I said; I will be retaining a lawyer and go against this debt as you have no provided any sort of information regarding previous attempts to collect said debt show in your documents.

We have already explained to you in your letter and prior rejection response that this was an original contract and agreement with ************************* of Georgia, the account was charged off as a loss due to nonpayment, therefore, Security Credit Services, LLC purchased your account as an owed debt so you would not have a direct contract with us.
If you are claiming fraud or paid prior, then we will need documentation for proof. Otherwise, we will continue to deem this account valid and continue credit reporting.

I am rejecting this response because: It is clearly erroneous. I do not live in *************** ******* according to the contract that was generated on 06/2022. ************ stated that I opened the account in Aug/2022, which is a different month from the electronic signature. Also, it was electronically signed and not wet signed, meaning that the signature was generated and not an original. There are so many issues of incorrect information that if this account resurfaces, I will have no other choice but to file a lawsuit against them.
This item negatively affected my credit score. I want this erroneous account removed immediately from all credit bureaus and never sold to another company again. Failure to do so will result in filing a lawsuit with multiple laws broken. I do not even have a contract or account originating with the company that reported this account. Also, cease and desist from reaching out to me as well, although, I never received anything from this company. I was alerted about them when they added it to my credit file. I am a victim of identity theft and this is another account with proof of that.

I am not legally responsible for this account, I have disputed this account on multiple occasions but the business continues to charge me for an account that has been paid off and resolved. I have gone into my local world finance to ask them for a copy of the receipt and they refuse to give me one. The account was paid off in 2022 , world finance deducted the $1500 from my income tax check because they did my taxes . They refuse to give me a receipt saying it was the prior manager who was involved in this and they have no access to his files because of pending investigations . This account was originally opened in 2017 I kept refinancing the loan to keep my credit line open but decided to pay it off because the interest rate was incredibly high. It shouldn't even be on my credit anymore . every time I file a dispute they report it incorrectly and change the date to present day causing the account to look as if I just opened it. I have tried everything to get this resolved and off my credit . I have attached a screenshot from when I originally paid off the account which shows a balance is $0, last week they changed the balance on it again . This is a violation of my FCR rights . This was paid before it was ever sent to collections and the account number is incorrect as well .Business response

Yes I have already tried to resolve this with them. I filled a credit dispute through equifax on various occasions throughout 2023, the last report filled was sept 20th and all they did was report it to the credit bureau again on sept 25, 2023 after I filled a report with the BBB . Please help me, I am widow mother of 5 children under 17 . I have already paid for this out of my taxes , world finance filled my taxes and took the money out before givining me a final check. This is because of Metro overcharging me 3 times the amount. I have no income except SS. I was scammed and taken advantage of because I just lost my husband and on disability! ***** refuses to help me with anything! I've paid well more than the merchandise is worth! I sent them proof of the price of the products before they were overcharged! Phone is only $300+ and I'm being charged $699! Tablet is $49 and I'm not sure what I'm being charged? I've tried getting help from Metro which started this and Smart pay. They are only concerned with the money owed not the fact that I was ripped off!Business response

I would suggest deeming it a loss cause because they can't touch it. I have no way to pay it off. If you compare the actual price of the merchandise to what I paid it's paid in full! If you add the real price of the merchandise it's well below the price I'm being charged! This is a scam! The tablet was free due to a promotion! There's got to be something that can be done about this? I'm a disabled elderly widow and my only income is SS! I've paid this in full as far as I'm concerned.
