In July 2021, Generator Power Solutions provided a Generac24kw purchase/installation proposal that my family had of interest. Afterspeaking with my wife, we decided to move forward with the purchase. We weretold that we had to put a deposit down of $4,869.44 which we paid. Initially,it was stated that orders can take a few months to receive and that they willkeep us updated. Months passed and no one has called for any updates. My wife made severalcalls to the business and was told that orders had been on backorder. Per ******,the lady that she was speaking to, Covid had caused a severe delay and that shewould call with updates as soon as she updated. Ok, that was understandable, andwe didn’t think much of it. Now, we are in 2022, and we are still told that theproduct was on back order and that it would probably be the latter part of the yearbefore the product arrived. Again, covid has caused a massive delay which itdid for a lot of things, so again, there was no reason to question thatstatement. We didn’t want to be in debt with this purchase so we paidin increments so that by the time for installation, the bulk would have been paid.On April 2022, there was another payment made in the amount of $2400.00. I havereceipts and communication of all transactions. Rwd to 2023, in May I received acall to schedule an appointment. A week or two before the appointment date, I receiveda call to reschedule per ******, there was a mixed up with the scheduling. Shewas out on medical leave having heart surgery and the lady that was working inher place had basically screwed up the schedule. Ok, again understandable, things happen and this was no big deal. We now have a rescheduled date which was supposed to be June, June 5th to be exact, and once again, a few weeksearlier, I received a call stating that the installer had to go out on amedical emergency and they would call to reschedule. Now, this is the 2ndcancellation. By the mid of June, after no one has made contact with us, mywife reaches out to ****** by email because she couldn’t reach anybody byphone lines. She goes with an excuse that she was in the hospital and so on. I haveattached a communication thread. We have been scammed out of $8269.44 and we want ALL ourHARD WORKING money back! And want to warn others of this company. The numberslisted are out of service now and ****** is no longer responding to emails. Iwill be filing fraud charges with my banks. The numbers that I have on file for them is as follows:*** ******** and *** ********

We bought a generator from these people along with maintenance plans. The owner of the company has since been arrested. Its phone is no longer being answered and the doors are locked. We need to know if there is anyone who will honor our maintenance plans.

Generator power solutions tools check for over 7000 dollars for a generator last September to be installed in February. They made excuse after excuse as to why they couldn’t couldn’t install and I just found out the owner was arrested on Thursday with multiple charges being filed. This was criminal. He never planned on getting me a generator and I want my 7000 dollars and change back.

Last year around July 2022, I called Generac to purchase a generator for my home. I called 1-888-******** to get a quote. They referred me to a local dealer about 1 hour and half from me. The company name is Generator Power Solutions at 105 Head Start Ln, Suite J, Pearl, MS 39208 owned by ***** *****. Their phone number is 601-519-4064. This company sent a representative by the name of ****** to give me an estimate. The price was $12,200 and they were collaborating with Synchrony Bank to finance customers. My husband and I financed the generator through Synchrony Bank and paid in full. We began paying $490.00 month for the purchase and installation of the Generac generator. The company promised us the generator to be installed late January of 2023 due to it being a 26kw. We waited and never heard back from them and finally I began calling them and asking when it will be installed. The receptionist kept giving me various dates to appease me and finally, I called Generac to notify them of the situation and they tried to call the company and I was told that they could not get in touch with ***** nor the receptionist. I then called an attorney to see what I needed to do. The attorney courteously sent an email requesting for them to install my generator. They ignored the email. ****** then calls me and says he is no longer working with the company because they are not delivering on the product. He tells me to file a purchase dispute with Synchrony bank to get my money back and he will purchase and install the generator. I called Synchrony Bank to file a purchase dispute and the representative tells me I can't file a purchase dispute until I cancel the service. I then send a cancellation notice to the company and then filed the purchase dispute; this was in April 2022. Synchrony Bank said it would take up to 60 days to close the dispute. I received an email in my favor. Then Synchrony Bank opens another dispute and then sends me another email saying it is in favor of the merchant and I must pay the bill. I send them an email stating I do not have the product and why do I have to pay for a product which was not delivered. Now Synchrony Bank is telling me that they have opened another dispute and it is going to take up to 6o days again, I have paid $3900 on this generator that has not been delivered. On 6/17/23, my husband and I was in Pearl, MS and happened to ride by the company to see if it really exists and ***** and his father were loading a portable generator for his father's neighbor. We introduced ourselves and told him what we failed to get in return which was a home 26kw generator. He started to apologize and said he was on the phone with Synchrony Bank last week to try and resolve this. I told ***** that all we wanted was our generator. He started apologizing and saying that he was going to get us taken care of and that he would call us first thing Monday morning. And of course, there was no call. This business is a hoax.

I met with a Generator Power Solutions sales rep on August 5, 2022, and agreed to purchase a 24kw Generac generator. ****** told me GPS was "two months out" on installation and I would be contacted by ****** in October with the installation date. When I had not heard from GPS by October 15, I called ******. She said our generator had not been delivered but they had a big truck coming in in November and it might be on that truck. She said she would call me. About mid-November I called her and was told it didn't come in, but it might be on the truck in December. About mid-December I called her and was told that it might be there in January, 2023. In January I filed a complaint with Generac. Soon after, ****** called and said they could install our generator the last week of February. When I told her we would not be home that week, she said she would reschedule it. On 2-20-23, I received an email from GPS saying our installation would be on May 3, 2023, but when you clicked the "view details" button on the email, it said our installation was scheduled for May 30, 2023. After I contacted Generac Customer Service again, I received an email from ****** confirming the May 30 installation date. When I called ****** on April 5, 2023, to see if they could move our installation up, she said no, We financed the $14,211 purchase through Synchrony Bank, which paid GPS up front. We made 7 payments totaling $3,987 through March 30 to Synchrony. When I told ****** I wanted my money back, she said I should initiate a dispute with Synchrony and have the contract nullifed. She said other customers have done that. So that's what I did. I also told ****** to cancel our installation date of May 30. On June 5, Synchrony denied my claim and said I needed to get the contract nullified by GPS. I immediately called ****** and asked to speak to the owner, ***** *****. She said he would call me. I have not heard from him. I do not want a generator from this vendor; I just want my $4,000 back.

In mid Nov 2022 had the company visit to determine size of whole home generator, costs, etc. at the time obtained approval of financing with Synchrony. Later informed my schedule date was April 10th to 14th 2023. Called days before that as I had not heard back on confirmation of more defined day/date and went thru same grief as all the other complaints I now read (wish I had done my due diligence). FINALLY spoke to a woman with sad story of being in hospital and the temp they hired "totally screwed up scheduling" and she was getting it all fixed. Promised a call back within a few weeks, NADA. Many calls (GPS LLC don't bother asking "what number did you use for goodness sakes) no answer. FINALLY same lady who him-hawed on schedule when I demanded to know my schedule and was told mid August 2023. This would make almost 10 months of paying $257/mo with Synchrony with no product. I drove by office at 0930 am on a work weekday, 3 trucks in parking lot, no answer knocking on all 3 doors. All along this period I sent Mr. ***** emails at his gmail shown on bottom of their home page, no response/reply. I crafted a pointed letter that said I would take all actions necessary to address my condition, including talking to a DA on charges of fraud, contacting Generac themselves (did on 6/6/23 & told we are just "manufacturer" and don't control biz owners), populating biz review sites etc... if not installed by the Aug 2023 install but NOW that I see all the BBB horror stories, where it seems action is only taken in response to BBB, I'm taking action now unless they commit in this BBB complaint to my 1) Provide me my PO # so I can monitor status with Generac themselves and 2) an install date earlier than "August". This seems criminal. I may have to delay retirement thanks to an 11k Credit account (they got their $ for sure so I'm bagged for nothing) with nothing to show for it). Finish the job or refund $11k to me (to then pay Sychrony) if can't install.

October 13 2021 at 9:30am I wrote a check for $5,080.65 for a generator to be delivered in 6mo. I have repeatedly called and left numerous messages for the owner, personal cell, and secretary. As of today, June 5, 2023, I have not received a call from the owner, ***** *****. I have have requested a refund, but have not received one. This company cashed my check 1 year and 8 months ago. I want a full refund.
