Ok the first cold day and my hvac stopped delivering heat even though the thermostat was reporting that the heat was being delivered and that the fan was running. But upon further investigation I discovered that the fan was not working so no circulation. I immediately called my hvac service provider, Barbers Heating & Air, explained the problem and was praying that they had a technician available to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Luckily it wasn't long before the technician, Cody S****, arrived at the house. It didn't lone before he identify the problem and it wasn't good news. When he measured the voltage being delivered to the house from Duke Energy it was much higher than it should have been and had burned out the fan. Cody explained that the part had to be ordered and it would probably take a couple of days to get it but after making an inquiry he found that there was one in stock and he quickly went to pick it up in preparation for installation after Duke Energy deemed it safe. Needless to say it was after hours when Duke gave the green light to do this and Cody's day was done. I called to see if there was anyway I could get the unit up and running tonight given the fact that thetemp erature was going to be in the twenties tonight. The young lady who returned my call, whose name sadly I did not get went to work immediately. The on call technician was already on a call so the owner was contacted and the owner authorized Cody to come back out to install the part. Hallelujah!!!!! It is said that team work makes the dream work and this was clearly demonstrated by the Barber Heating & Air staff and certainly speaks to their success. Thanks to Cody and all involved who went the extra mile to see that I have a warm home tonight. Your caring, compassion, expertise and going that extra mile is greatly appreciated and this is why I trust you with the service of my hvac. I am very, very grateful . Your service far exceeds 5 stars
