      I signed up for a debt relief program through Strategic Consulting. They were very insistent with constant phone calls and emails prior to me signing up. They sent a notary to my house to sign paperwork without even speaking to the lawyer yet. Now that they have my information, I am unable to get into contact with anyone. I would like to cancel this and go a different route. I have been trying to contact them for the last 5 days via phone calls, voicemails, emails and even text messages with no response. I just want to cancel. This is becoming more stressful than the debt itself.

      We've attempted to contact the consumer to inform them that we have no record and none of their information is in our database, but the consumer has been unresponsive. We have no record of the name, telephone number or address provided in the complaint in our database.

      I signed documents with this company and going back to look at it it seemed too good to be true. Now I am not comfortable with the fact that I should pause in paying my bills and am now weary about sending money that will be held in a so called trust . I gave my personal information and would like to be assured this will not be used in any way. Contacted a Financial institution and was advised that this is a major risk and there are red flags.

      On Jan 13 I contacted Daniel A****** from Strategic Consulting in reference to a bill consolidation loan. I was told that I was not eligible but that i did qualify for a bill consolidation program. I was also told that one of my bills had to have my wife listed because she was on the loan. A notary was sent to our home the same day. All of the documents were sign and we were told we could cancel this with no problem. When my wife found out that her credit score would drop she called and asked for the account With her name on it removed. We called the 16 and 17 of January with no return call. We called again 18 of January and spoke with Mr A******. We informed him that we wanted the account with my wife's name on it removed. He stated they could not enroll me in the program because my debt would be less than $10,000. Mr. A****** stated he would call us back. Today is 23 January and we have not heard anything. Attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful. Messages left on voicemail. We would like to be disenrolled in the program. With no recourse.

      I received an email with all of my financial and private social, date of birth, phone number and location information that I did not give them permission to obtain or use. The company has been identified as a SCAM and I want my information removed from their system completely but I can't get a call or a response from any agents all calls are hung up or forwarded to nowhere I want my information removed immediately.

      I filed a debt consolidation loan with this company. After a little more than 30 days later I changed my mind and requested a full refund which in the contract I signed says I will get a full refund if I decide to cancel within a certain time frame. The company had dune nothing yet as fare as the consoladation goes. I was told my refund was coming and that was over two months ago and I still have not received the 850.27 dollars I was promised I wiukd get back. I have called manybtimes and they just jeep telling me it's on the way. I need my refund immediately.

      BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM ALERT!! Received a letter from ****** ******* **** ********** ********** stating... *****, you have been pre-approved for a debt consolidation loan up to $32,500 and the programs low fixed rate of 3.85%. To take advantage of this offer, call ###-###-####! It stated on the back... Prescreen and Opt-out notice: This "prescreened" notice of credit is based on information in your credit report indicating that you meet certain criteria. Instead of calling I went online the second option in the letter and filled out the form. The next day I received 3 phone calls and a text from Strategic Consulting. Third call I answered and was told to go online to get my offers. At which time I was then told there is no loan it is now a law firm by the name of ******** *** ***** that does not provide loans but rather negotiates with creditors to destroy your credit. When I pressed about the PRE APROVAL I was told by senior management to go on Google and look up what pre approval means. Yes, this is really what this scam artist tried to get me to do. I was NOT pre-approved as the letter stated and they never in-fact pre-screened my credit. He then stated exactly that. They never ran my credit for a pre approval. Odd since the letter I have clearly states they looked at my credit and I meet their criteria for a 32,500 loan at a rate of 3.85%! This is the decades old bait and switch SCAM! Attached is the SCAM letter I received. Also attached is screenshot from the webpage they directed me to for my "LOAN" offer. It is another company doing debt negotiant not a consolidation loan as stated in my "PRE_APPROVAL letter! THERE OFFER STATES I WAS DELCINED FROM 8-DIFFERENT LENDERS THAT HAD ME PRE=APPROVED FOR UPTO 32,500! TURNS OUT I WAS NEVER PRE-APPROVED FOR ANYTHING!

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This time they even where to BOLD to Highlight the pre-approval line. They are really stepping up their bait and switch illegal marketing. I demand the owner of the company contact me and explain why I am getting PRE-APPRROVED and PRE-SCREENED Credit offers only to be sold a complexly different package when I call. Their is no LOAN I am "PRE_APPROVED" for. Their is just a scam of credit reduction negotiation done by one of heir scam sister companies!I demand the loan I am told so BOLDLY IN YELLOW HIGHLIGHTER or I want this scam artis locked up in jail.I am giving the owner one week from this response to contact me or I will be filling up with CRIMINLA COMPLAINTS!Regards,***** ********

After conducting a review of your file(to include the mailer you received and your conversation with the representative), a debt consolidation loan was not an available option to you after a soft pull of your credit was performed and reviewed, to which you consented to.  The mailer you received indicates that it was a “prescreen notice” and there are no guarantees that your credit profile would meet a participating lender’s criteria. Though your desired outcome was not achieved, we pride ourselves on providing superior customer service to build long lasting relationships with all our current and future customers. With that in mind, we appreciate the time you provided us to listen and respond to your concerns.”

      They are not a legit company. It is a scam. I asked to get my info removed (social and DOB) and nothing is being done. I am nervous they have my personal info and want to make sure I am protected.

      This company continues to harass me with phone calls and text messages, after I have already asked them to quit contacting me. I'm not sure how they obtained my information exactly, but I assume when I was doing debt consolidating research. They call me from different numbers, I block one, they just call from another. Again, after I have asked them multiple times to quit. Today I received a text from "Margaret with Strategic Consulting", which must have been from an automated text service. I immediately opted out of the texts though. I would like this company to quit contacting me. It's been months now of me telling them no and blocking different numbers. I am fed up with the continued harassment, when it's obvious that I am not interested in using their services.

      I spoke with Strategic Consulting on 10/17. Their sales representative did not explain their debt settlement program to me correctly. She claimed my credit card companies would be contacted within two weeks, which is not true. I was currently NOT behind on any of my payments and they led me to believe this would help me pay off my debt sooner. It was not explained to me that I would have to default on my loans intentionally then they would start contacting my credit card companies in 8 months or more. They also did not explain to me that this program lowers my credit score for the entirety of the program. They continued to claim my score would improve "soon". I signed paperwork for the program on 10/18. A representative from ***** *** *** called me on 10/23 to go over in detail how the program actually works. I decided immediately I needed to cancel. The representative on the phone said he could cancel right away. I also completed paperwork to cancel my agreement and mailed it on 10/23. On November 1st I emailed Strategic Consulting letting them know I was cancelling my contract. I received a response by their representative acknowledging that I was cancelling. I was assured by both Strategic Consulting and ***** *** *** that my money would not be removed from my account. I was assured I did not owe them any money since no negotiating was done to settle any debts on my behalf. On 10/28 they withdrew $491.70. I called on 11/3 and was assured 100% of my money would be refunded. I received a refund in the amount of $43.01 on 11/10. I do not owe any money. No debts were settled on my behalf. I cancelled my contract within my rights. I want 100% of the $491.70 refunded to me.
