      I joined realeats and had gotten a few orders from the company. My next order was approaching, I was to be leaving out of state for a work trip. I reached out to the company several days prior to the shipping date to request a cancel as I wouldn’t be able to utilize the food and wouldn’t be there on the day of delivery the following week. Customer service confirmed they canceled the order and I could receive a refund. Several days later I got a notification that the meals were in route for delivery. I recontacted customer service, they apologized and said they must not have done it in time, hopefully a neighbor could pick up the delivery and store it- unfortunately I don’t have relationships with my neighbors that would warrant me asking them to store an entire freezers worth of food, so it had to be disposed of- the agent put the credit on my account of $169.87 on 9/1/22. The company abruptly closed this March and left no information on website to contact them. Their ******** account was still active- I messaged inquiring about a refund in the amount of my credit as it was an error on the customer agents part. Did not receive a response. Would like to find a way to get reimbursed or even just a way to contact a person to discuss.

      I decided to order from this company for meal delivery. When this came items not frozen completely and of those I could save was not satisfied with for quality. I requested refund and was given mumbo jumbo response. I disputed with cc company as well.

      Feb. 28 2023 Email communication with the company regarding a refund owe to me. The email asks if I want it placed back on my card or an account credit. I ask for refund to card. The next day the company closed down and I never got my refund. They owe me money. How do I resolve this? The amount was $126.83

      I just signed up for a weekly food delivery service from RealEats last week. They charged my account for my first order on 2/24/2023 a sum of $113.31. I just went to their website to check on the status of my first order which should have arrived next week on 3/8/2023 when I found the website simply stating: Dear valued customers, RealEats has unfortunately closed. Thank you for your support over the years. Team RealEats What can be done about this? I believe they knew last week that they would be shutting down this week, yet they still took my money, plus I never received anything from them. Thank you, **** *******

      I placed an order last week for 6 meals for $60. I received a confirmation and my card was fully charged before the meals even shipped. I never received a tracking number and suddenly two days later the website is taken down and they turned off their Instagram comments. I’ve sent servers DM’s and emails which have been marked as read and have gotten NO response. They have scammed me.

      I was charged $74.50 without any warning for food I did not order. I have contacted the company and only have received an automated response. I still have not received a refund. I just want to be refunded and no longer wish to do business with this company.

      On August 26,2022 my **** ********** was charged $94.93 for a box of frozen food I did not order. Earlier this year, I did take advantage of their reduced fee promotional offer. I was not satisfied with the food so I called the company to cancel. I was told to do that online and so I did or at least I thought I did. However, to my surprise, I received a message on 9/1/22 that a box of frozen food would be delivered the next day. I sent them an email stating I had canceled my order months before and did not want this order. On 9/2/22, I received a reply stating there was no way to cancel the order. They offered me a $45 credit on my next order to make up for it. I told them I didn't want any more orders but if they applied a $45 credit to the shipment in question, I would keep it. They said no so I told them I was sending it back. When the shipment came, I refused the order and was told it would be sent back. A couple days later, it was delivered again only this time when I wasn't home to refuse it. I called the shipping company and they removed it the next business day which was 4 days later (holiday weekend). I received a temporary credit from **** but just recently they reversed it and said I would receive a document with the reason but that was never provided. Hopefully you can help. I just sent Real Eats an email promising to file a complaint here and file negative reviews. I really don't want to give anyone negative reviews but I don't know what else to do. Hopefully you can help. Thank you. **** ********

      I've done some additional research into this matter for you and it may take some time for the payment processing system to update the dispute so we're able to process the refund for you. The typical dispute process can take up to 60 days and even though the bank has closed the dispute, it can sometimes take this long before the bank's communication system and payment processing system sync to reflect the dispute as closed. The good news is there is typically a way to expedite this process. If you receive a letter from the bank indicating that the dispute has been closed, you can send it to us and we can contact the payment processor to request the closure be completed and once it's reflected as closed, we'll have access to issue the refund. We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to resolving this matter as soon as possible. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.       This company is very unreliable. First they do not answer the phone, then they continue to send the wrong order. I suspended their service previously because they repeated the same meals two weeks in a row even though I ordered my next meals on time. Then after their apology I reinstated them and today they sent me the same meals as last week even though I ordered the menu on time. I will cancel my business relationship with Realeats, enough is enough* **** ********* and ****** *********

      Customers are able to log into their accounts and make selections up to 8 weeks in advance. Upon looking into this complaint it was found there was not activity on the account showing the customer logged in and made selection. We have reached out to this customer offering a phone call to walk through the steps of making their selections from week to week to ensure the order has been updated properly. We have also offered 25% off their next order as well.

      I ordered some food to be delivered to my address in October and was only to be charged for that one order. The website falsely claimed that this was not a subscription service and that you did not have to continue past the first order. This was not the case. I have just been notified that i again and being billed for food being shipped today. I did not place this order or authorize the payment to be chaged to my credit card. This is a fraudulent charge and business practice. i am asking that my credit card be refunded and all future shipments or payments be cancelled. they should not be allowed to maintain credit card intormation if they are not a subscription service.

      I signed up months ago to try the product. Since then I would receive an email/text asking to log on if I wanted food that week. It has been like this for months. I went away for three weeks and received a text on my phone regarding a shipment. I texted back right away so not send I did not order. I was not even in the state of NY. I instantly sent an email. They seemed to ship same day as they said they could not cancel or retract the shipment. I did not request the product and I was not back in the state of NY for several days AFTER delivery of the product. They tricked me and changed their standard messages and that is wrong. I am sending examples of what they usually send. As stated I was away and didn’t noticed the different verbiage. It’s never been like this.

      Our weekly food delivery service provides the ability to choose a flexible delivery schedule by toggling delivery weeks "on" or "off" to fit customer's needs.  As long as delivery is turned "off" Thursdays by 11:59 pm ET we do not ship an order.  We'll reach out directly to this customer to help resolve their concerns

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  i have never had to click on anything for the delivery. I receive messages if I would like the service to log in. This has been going on for months. Then one day it changed and the verbiage changed and in 24 hours I could not stop the shipment. At first I thought this was a great feature for the company because I only had to click when I wanted the service. Like I stated, then it changed. I have already been refunded from ****** as of yesterday. Others need to take notice if they choose to use this company.  Regards,  **** *******
