I am extremely disappointed with iPostal1 for their recent and unjustified 50% price increase for customers who want to keep their business name on their mailing address. This move feels like nothing more than an exploitative cash grab targeting small businessesmany of whom rely on services like iPostal1 to protect their privacy and keep their home addresses separate from their work. There was no explanation of increased costs, no mention of improved servicesjust a sudden price hike with an ultimatum: pay up or remove your business name and risk losing valuable mail. This lack of transparency is appalling and demonstrates a complete disregard for their customers. If you want to keep your business name, youll pay $5 more per month for monthly subscribers or $50 more per year for annual subscribers starting January 20, 2025. No changes or enhancements to justify the increasejust a demand for more ******** avoid the increase, customers must remove their business name from their address, meaning any mail sent to the business name will be returned to sender. This is a severe inconvenience for anyone who has spent time and resources establishing their business address. The only other option is to pay the increase until customers decide to downgrade to a personal mailing addressagain, shifting the burden entirely onto the customer. This policy is not only predatory but also shows a blatant disregard for the small business community that likely forms the backbone of their customer base. Many of us rely on ********************** to maintain our professionalism and privacy, and this sudden price hike feels like exploitation. If iPostal1 values its customers, they should reconsider this price increase and offer real, tangible reasons for any changes. Otherwise, I urge other small businesses to consider alternative services that respect their users rather than gouging them for profit.Signed,A frustrated small business owner who will be looking elsewhere.iPostal1, LLC

Hi *******,Thanks for your review. We understand your displeasure with the increased price of our Virtual Business Address Plan. Please know that this is not a common practice for us as this is our first price increase since 2015, when we started out. With increases in many operational costs, including the cost of leased locations and the wages of employees who service your account, we find it necessary to make this change ****** a reminder, your Virtual Business Address Plan actually acts like 2 addresses, allowing you to receive mail and packages in both your personal and business name. If you would like to continue to receive mail and packages in both your company and personal name, the price is increasing from $9.99 to $14.99 per month. This remains highly competitive with other services in our space that offer fewer address locations and fewer features. If you no longer need your company name, we provided a link in the email you received to remove the company name on your mailbox and avoid the price increase. Your digital mailbox details won't change otherwise. We truly appreciate your understanding when it comes to this change. We want you to have a great experience using iPostal1. 1 starThey took my money. My family and I recently moved across the country. I signed up for the virtual mailbox, but found that I didn't need it and I requested a refund. I ended up with two accounts, a box I never got to use, and they refunded only half. They still own me $20. This is a brand new way of handling mail and if the company will not issue a $20 refund, I wonder how many more accounts are being skimmed right off the top. Thanks Ipostal!! I do not recommend.Review fromEugene C

I have used iPostal1 before without incident. I needed another mailbox and now I wish I had shopped around first. Based this current experience with them, it seems they are either spread too thin or there is some serious disorganization in ************* you can see in other reviews they no longer trust State Certified Notaries. Their website still states that you can upload your documents that are signed in person by a notary, but by not making it clear that now the ONLY way to complete your 1583 is by using THEIR Virtual Notary, the true cost of their services is hidden. The virtual notary service is $25. This is much higher than an in-person notary, so if you add anyone to the mailbox later you're talking $50 for notary services. I wonder if there are some kickbacks going on here?If a mistake occurs when using the virtual notary and you need to have it notarized again... yes, another $25 unless they made a mistake and are gracious enough to refund. After having uploaded copies of my ID, Address verification, etc. to the Virtual Notary, conducting a virtual meeting and then received their notarization, the virtually notarized 1583 and verification documents are then transmitted directly to iPostal. But wait...!! Then I received a message from the mail center saying a verification document was too blurry. Yes, you heard right, the mail center does not trust the Virtual Notary. Mind you, I have already uploaded all of this stuff directly to iPostal when I had it notarized in person and then again when I paid to have it notarized virtually... but that's not enough. Going on 2 weeks since I re-uploaded another scan of my verification document directly to iPostal and I am still waiting for approval.I have inquired to iPostal twice and their CANNED response is "your mail center has been notified to review your files for final approval" and then after checking back with them on Day 9 they stated "Final approval takes between 1-3 business days".Ridiculous!iPostal1, LLC

Hi ******,Thanks for your review. We are glad that you have been happy using iPostal1 until now. We are sorry for any delay in communication that you experienced. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs. This is required in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. Our goal is absolute transparency. In late September, we made a change to online notary only and updated our FAQs page to reflect this change. This switch was to enhance security for our partner locations and customers alike. Some mail centers are able to approve your 1583 form in-store; however, if they do not, you are asked to use an online notary service to get your form notarized. After your form is notarized and submitted, our dedicated 1583 team reviews your documents. Your mail center is still responsible for final approval, as they are the entity that will be handling your mail. We would be happy to look into your specific case and help get your documents approved. Unfortunately, we are unable to locate your account from this review. Please contact **************** so that we may fully assist you. For fastest service, please use the live chat Monday-Friday 9am-8pm ET. We are also available by phone, email or ticket.Sincerely,iPostal1Review fromRyan V

iPostal1: Promised Security, But Failed To Protect Me From ThemselvesI recently signed up and paid iPostal1 to set up a mailing address. I completed all forms required and even when the extra step of verifying with support that my address was active even after receiving a email confirming my mailbox was ready. I was assured by multiple agents that I could start receiving mail. However, my first package was returned to sender because the mail carrier was told no one with my name was listed theredespite using the same name I registered with and paying additional identity verification fees. Now, Im left waiting for an explanation, which I doubt will address this serious failure in service. ipostal1 was supposed to protect me from the very same experience they put me inDate of experience: November 02, 2024iPostal1, LLC

I phoned the company @ 4:59pm on 10/31/24, because I had questions about my recent purchase. The female agent who answered the call was extremely rude, unprofessional, inhumane, verbally abusive, and impatient. She never answered my question although I repeated it more than 3 times. I made a comment about her background noise, which was bumping, thumping, unraveling of a box and, or tissue paper. The background noise was overwhelmingly annoying. She stated she was off the clock and she did me a favor by answering the call, because she didn't have too. She insinuated her background noise was exceptable because she's off the clock. Never acknowledged her background noise with an apology. I politely asked for her name. She said I don't need to know her name, and hung up the phone in my face. This was beyond disrespectful to have a person of this nature as an employee treating clients in a deplorable manner. This person does not need to work for a company with her negative, rudeness.iPostal1, LLC

This is a review of the ******************** of Box Express. I went in on Monday (it's now Wednesday night) to ask about setting up a virtual mailbox for a new small-scale business I'm starting. I was helped by ***** *********, who explained everything clearly and started the process for me. I finished it online (it can't be completed in person since the ******************* is involved) and promptly received messages back with further instructions. When I received a message that my application was still pending because the ** photos I'd provided online were blurry, I sent new, clearer, photos by email. When 24 hours passed without a response, I went into Box Express again, where ***** filled out a lot of paperwork, spent some time on the computer and then told me I was good to go. I had another question later, so I emailed the business. He answered the email right away. I don't remember ever receiving such excellent, and friendly, customer service. Can't recommend this place highly enough.iPostal1, LLC

This is the worst company I have ever done business with. If you plan on adding an Authorized Individual in Box 5A, on the United States Post Offices OFFICIAL form 1583, iPostal1 will not allow that authorized individual to pick up your mail even AFTER the form has been Notarized & approved Then if you question them,They will close your account!iPostal1, LLC

Hi *****,Thanks for your review. The **** requires the Form 1583 be completed, notarized, and filed with proper IDs. This is required in order for the mail center to accept mail on your behalf. While the 1583 Form is provided by the ****, your mail center is the agency that is responsible for physically handling your mail. In this case, for security reasons, your mail center determined that a separate 1583 form is required for any additional people to be approved to pick up mail on your behalf. Our records indicate that your mail center came to the decision that your actions violated the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to upon signing up, which ultimately resulted in your account being closed. We see that **************** has been in contact with you. iPostal1 engages in illegal activities like mail tampering and obstruction. They withheld my mail on multiple occasions. Do not use this virtual mailbox provider. There are so many options available. Save yourself grief and use another company.iPostal1, LLC

So far so good although it is quit early to make any clear observation. Thus far, I can say that I have experience great customer service, any time I have called the company, the **** has been very resourceful and helpful. On a side note, I do wish they offered an actual phone alone with the phone service, even if I had to pay for the phone alone with the service.iPostal1, LLC

Hi ****,Thanks for your review. Our team works hard to provide excellent customer service, so it is great to hear that we were able to help you. At this time, the phone line provided by our any of our Office plans only provides you with a unique phone number, for incoming calls only, a personalized voicemail, and call forwarding services. While we currently do not provide you with a physical phone, we truly appreciate your feedback. This is very valuable for us.Sincerely,iPostal1
