      DO NOT OPEN A LINE OF CREDIT WITH THIS BANK. I PURCHASED A COMPUTER WITH THEM 3 YEARS AGO FOR $1000 ON A NEW LINE OF CREDIT AND I AM STILL PAYING IT OFF - ONE OF THOSE BS CONTRACTS WHERE THEY CHARGE YOU A CERTAIN RATE AND IMPOSE YOU PAY IT OFF BEFORE A DEADLINE BEFORE YOU ARE CHARGE A HELLUVA LOT MORE MONEY ONCE YOU DONT PAY IT OFF BECAUSE IT LOGISTICALLY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE BASED ON THE NUMBERS. LATE FEES ARE RIDICULOUS, I MISSED A $29 PAYMENT AND NOW HAVE TO PAY $100 - TAKE IT FROM ME AND RUN AWAY.

      I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Citi MasterCard. I was scammed on ******** by purchasing **** Calming Duck (toy for dog) in the amount of $44.00. I looked around and this company (The Pet Paradise) made it look like they were within the ***). I felt comfortable enough to place an order the same day and received my shipping confirmation order #. Turns out they charged my card and they were from *********!After trying to get information and sending numerous emails to this merchant they finally sent me a tracking number through YunExpress Tracking. I kept checking the tracking number and the site was never once updated just shows (even today) tracking number only but item never delivered for them to mail to **** had contacted my credit card company because I noticed that this vendor removed all social media accounts and I feel that this vendor has scammed me. I would appreciate any assistance that you can provide. As soon as I filed a dispute, I mailed TWICE (different back-up information) via **** mail to Citi so they could have for reviewing the dispute. Come to find out the people that handle disputes are in ***** and they never reviewed my items that I sent. I will be shopping for a different credit card company! NOW I see why BBB has given them a D- rating! I will be looking for a different company for a credit card and dumping Citi!

      This business puts credit cards on alert for no reason especially when you are the one using the card and following the correct procedures for doing a large purchase I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone

      Absolute worst credit card experience I have ever had in my life. I am a ****** member, and I only have the Citi card because of the ****** partnership. And everything about it is the worst in class, from customer service, to the app, to payment processing times, literally its a complete joke. I am buying windows through ******, on the ****** card so I will need to make a few large payments and then pay off due to citis low limits. So, I make the first charge, and it takes almost the entire week just for the charge to fully post so I can make a payment. I then make a payment, but my balance does not reflect it for over a week and a half. I call in, and they say they put a 14 day hold on the payment coming from my bank account? Why I asked? They dont know. But my bank has nothing to do with this hold, right? Correct this is us. Can you lift it? Only if you call your bank. What, its your hold!?!?! Anyways over an hour of my life for them to say it wont happen again. So next week, I made another charge. Took several days to post, then I made a payment. And guess what happened, my Citi account started giving me alerts that I need to call in and my card could be disrupted if I dont. Again, there is a $10,500 limit, a $9,700 balance and a $9,700 payment that they are AGAIN HOLDING for no explainable reason. I have never had a bank stop me from paying them, but now I cant complete my window purchases and when I call into Citi they said the card is not designed to make large purchases and then be paid off!? **************** is the most rude and clueless customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Never heard about a company juts continually putting payments on hold with no explanation as to why? Is it because I am brown? Do you not like the way my name sounds? Are there not banking transparency laws requiring them to disclose why they keep holding my payments? What in gods name is going on here? They say there is nothing they can do...

      I have had this CitiCard for numerous years, and Citibank do not have qualified professionals to handle disputes, I had a dispute, and Citicard charged the disputed amount back to my Credit Card without doing a thorough investigation because the disputes team is incompetent, I was threaten that if I didn't pay the disputed amount, that they would report it to the ************* and put a note on my account that I disputed it, I paid it, I didn't owe it, I didn't want this negative adverse information on my Credit Report. Citicard, didn't give me a chance to pay it before sending this horrible letter, this is the worst, deplorable, and horrible bank, they used bad business practices, and they are not reputable, this is a poor quality business, and they are eager to report negative, adverse information that is inaccurate, they are not reputable and they have a poor reputation, I didn't know that they had gotten to be this bad,I believe that they are the worst ever, and they don't have any character or integrity, Citicard Bank is also dishonest and used bad unfair business practices, I will not be using this card and I don't want Citicard to destroy my credit. I do recommend this unprofessional, unethical and incompetent, unfair bank.

      In my opinion this company lacks effective communication and does not fully investigate disputes. It took 3 phone calls to get someone to send me to dispute center. The first 2 times I was told you are not allowed to speak with dispute center. They then told me after finally speaking with someone in disputes to send in additional information after being told they sided with the company, not waiting or even communicating with me about sending in my evidence for dispute. It does not feel like this company is for the member.

      Ive had a very disappointing experience with Citibank, particularly with their credit card practices. They unexpectedly lowered my credit limit and closed my credit cards, which had a negative impact on my credit score. Based on my personal experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending Citibank for banking or credit card services to my friends or family.

      Misleading and Discriminating Citibank Officer: Today, I was at the Citibank Office/Center at E ************* to request for a credit transfer on my credit card. A male employer/banker "I have his name" accosted me by the door asking for what I wanted. I explained to him that I need a credit transfer from my credit card. He seemed to be trying to help but he wasn't because there was no available direct credit transfer from the card. He advised me to open an account which I really appreciate and demanded that he should open one for me. He requested my Stated ID and ***. I provided him my State ID and explained to him that I recently moved from ********* to ******. Then he requested for a proof of address which I gave to me. I was waiting, he pretended like he was opening an account and later asked me to provide another photo ID which I gave him my GREEN ******* my disappointment this guy rumbling and told me that the Citibank required my passport. I asked him which passport? I have no passport? Do you mean no U.S. citizen or anyone would not be able to open an account without an international passport. He insisted that it was Citibank's policy on request for opening a new account I understand why they did it. The bank is full of Spanish speaking bankers, no single Black or African American in the banking hall as at the time I was there. I'm going to follow up this and thinking of escalating the issue and would be seeking a Solicitor's advice.

      Citibank is a joke, Call them to try and find out about your account that they have only to be told oh *** you don't have an account with us???? I am holding your credit card in my hand!?! What do you mean I don't have an account?? After being transferred to five different departments I finally get a answer. Yes I have a citibank account but its handled by a third party so even though they own it they cant tell me anything about the account. This is a f****** joke. No one should do business with this company ever, Im cutting ties and I will be advising every person I meet for the rest of my time on earth to tell people to avoid this company, and if i can save even one person from dealing with these shady rat b****** pieces of s*** that will be a win.

      I had a ****************** card with Citi and let me just say, their customer service is atrocious. If you call, the call either drops or you sit waiting in the queue for a while. If you try the online chat through your online account, it just routes you in circles even if you ask for a live representative. The online secure messaging center has been unavailable for months. They don't respond to standard mail. I called today to see if a one-time late fee could be waived and the representative, *******, made a smart comment saying they will not waive it especially since I'm on a payment plan. I'll be glad to get rid of Citi once I pay my card off. I will never bank with them or open anything in the future. They make ************** look good and that says a lot.
