      I had an LL Bean credit card by Citi. in March of this year i discovered a fraudulent charge for *****. I called three times and sent two forms in writing disputing the charge as of June 5 , I am still getting past due notices from Citi saying I owe them even though I asked the account be close and the fraudulent charges dropped. I simply want the charges dropped and the account closed.

      I had a credit card with Citi. In 8 years they allowed numerous fraud charges on my card. In March there was a charge with Prime Video that was some random dude who was not authorized on my account. I reported it and got a new card. Citi came back and asked me to prove I canceled the charge. Of course I didn't cancel the charge since it wasn't on my Prime account and I had no way to access the fraudsters account. ********************** doesn't care and claims because I changed my story, which I never did, they can't help me. So fair warning, they expect you to pay for all fraud charges if you have ever done business with the merchant even if it was used fraudulently.

      Horrible customer service .took 4 hours to cancel .a card they purchased from another bank . Reason canceled is from 5 yrs ago . I called fraud when movers used my card . Said it was took care of and it wasn't.. got sent to collections. At samectime thieves opened a citibcard at ********** and citi wouldn't talk to me . Horrible service Horrible policies

      I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by CitiBank. My interactions have consistently fallen short of the professional standards one would expect from a financial institution, leading me to question the integrity of your business practices.Specifically, I was led to believe I had entered into an agreement with no interest, only to be subsequently charged interest through what I perceive as undisclosed loopholes. Furthermore, during the process of closing my account, an unexpected fine was levied for early closure, despite my explicit inquiries and recorded phone conversations confirming no such penalty would apply.From the initial acquisition of my credit card through Best Buy to my final interactions with CitiBank, I have felt misled and unjustly treated. This experience has severely damaged my trust, and as a result, I will no longer engage with any company associated with Citi, including Best Buy.I hope this message reaches others before they consider engaging with Citi, potentially sparing them from the same distressing and abusive experiences I encountered. My personal ordeal has illuminated why Citi consistently ranks among the worst banks in *****************, a reputation further substantiated by their documented history of millions in regulatory fines and past associations with illicit activities like money laundering.

      the worse banking experence i have ever had not many if any branches open they like to hold deposits for days and couldnt get anyone that spoke clear english on the phone

      On 5/01/25, a Citi agent confirmed that payments made after my 0% APR promo ended (5/1/25) would go to the highest APR balance (*****%), per federal law (CARD Act). Trusting this, I paid $9,330 on 5/2-5/3 enough to cover the high-interest balance.But Citi lied. They:Spread payments to low-rate balances instead of the *****% debt.Charged $72.20 in illegal interest, proving they knew the rate expired.Blamed "billing cycles"a fraudulent excuse, since they applied the *****% APR to accrue interest but not to allocate payments.This is a scam. Citi designs its system to:Mislead customers Ignore the CARD Act, which requires payments above the minimum to go to the highest APR.Pocket illegal interest by exploiting "timing" ************ NOT TRUST CITI with balance transfers. Theyll promise compliance, then use shady billing tricks to trap you in debt. Filed with CFPB and OCC.

      I have been trying to get my retirement benefits since 2009 but the process is terribly complicated and slow. Its 2025 now and I submitted all their forms along with ID copy of utility bill and W-9 in March 2025. Ive called them at 800 number over 20 times this year. The back office has no phone number as the calls are routed overseas. This is the worst run organization on the planet. They say they are extremely busy due to tax season and to call back later. Its May 30. I offered to drive to *********** and was told theres no one to help me as Citibank Rtmt Plan Svcs has no US based customer service department that I can contact.

      Citi blocks every my payments every time I use the credit card due to fraud. I have called in over 20 times to fix the problem and it still persists. There is no higher help. These people are idiots. I have 10 credit cards and Citi is by far the worst one to deal with. If I could leave negative review I would. They lost my business for life.

      worst credit cards paid off my balance and they decreased my limit next to nothing, which will also hurt your credit score as same as closing the account. do not recommend
