      LexisNexis is reporting that I have two at fault accidents when in reality that information is completely wrong. Which has caused me to pay a higher insurance premium rate for years.My question is, who is going to reimburse mefor their wrong doing?       I just heard about this company and how it is used by auto insurance to determine rates and eligibility. I was looking to switch car insurance because my rates was too high. I was told by companies I could not obtain coverage because of this third party having me listed as liable for every accident Ive had. I was also given an astronomical quote by progressive for 900 a month for coverage I contacted my current carrier State Farm and they claim that I only have one accident that I was made liable which is true out of four. I want this to be fix and know what I need to do to fix such an awful and sneaky way to hold insurance customers paying more for their coverage for accidents that were not their fault. I have a police report for one and two others I was not in the car. How can I be liable when I wasnt even in the car and was hit in a parking lot and they left While i was shopping ? I had to make a claim to my insurance but making a claim and being held liable is two different things. Attach is a police report with a witness that clearly states I was not at fault. No violation was made by me.

      On March 11 2024, I sent a letter to the bankruptcy courthouse asking do they report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got a letter stating that They do not report any bankruptcies or update information to the credit bureaus. So if thats the case, How did the credit bureaus verify my bankruptcy as 100% Accurate? They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 U.S.C ******* U.S.C 1681 section 603 (3)(E) States; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or whom may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer.They violated my rights numerous times.The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 U.S.C 1681.According to: 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy.According to: 15 U.S.C. 1681 Section 604 A Section 2: It also statesca consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions According to: 15 U.S.C 1681s-2(A)(1) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.       I tried to retrieve my data, opt out of data sharing, and delete my data.I submitted two requests on the website, and both times I received a letter stating that they couldn't verify me based on the data I provided. That means they have incorrect data on **** then called on April 22. I waited for 30 minutes on hold and eventually spoke to somebody. It seemed like she had trouble finding me in their system, but at some point she said that their systems were down and somebody would call me back later that evening. I never received the call and it's more than 24 hours later now.I need them to provide a copy of my data, opt me out of data sharing, and delete my data.

      My car insurance rates have skyrocketed $300+/month. I started shopping for a new policy and Progressive told me that my records from LN (LexisNexis) indicate that I am at fault in an accident dated 02/12/2022. I was reared ended that day but I was not at fault. An AllState policy holder (the other driver) paid the damages to my car. I called LN and they are telling me that they have me as financially responsible in this incident. We had a conference call with ALLstate agent and they confirmed that I WAS NOT AT FAULT in that accident. However they are refusing to correct the wrong information. They say they got the information from DMV. DMV was not notified by me or anyone else, and they confirmed that I WAS NOT AT FAULT. I dont understand why they refuse to correct this. I CANNOT PURCHASE insurance before of sky high rate due to incorrect information they are providing to the insurance companies.

      I have received an email from LexisNexis and they claim that they cannot verify my identity.

      I sent on their web site MULTIPLE times my driver license picture and my social security card. 

      They are not correcting this mistake. I am reported as the liable party about accident that happened in Feb 2022 where I was rear ended by another driver.

      I sent the ****************** letter that states that *************************** is the responsible party. I uploaded that document as well as my driver license picture. 

      This business is refusing to clear my name and I get rejected by auto insurance companies to purchase insurance.

      Lexis Nexis collects information from other company for profit. The company is reporting an accident that I was not involved in and this information is inaccurate.
