I have been trying to get in contact with this company for the past year, I have a loan that got charged off and sued, Javitch took over the account. I have tried calling countless times and emailed numerous times and never receive a response. I am getting desperate and want to make payment arrangements. I don't want my accounts garnished.Business response

I have tried calling to settle a debt that isn’t even mine but it is less expensive to set up a payment plan than go through a lawsuit. I have been trying to get ahold of someone for months and I keep getting pushed to another company and no one calls me back. The are requesting a file number but I have received zero communication from the company. It is starting to seem more like a scam than a legitimate company.Business response

I called on December 29, 2023 at 5:42PM and left a voicemail. I also sent an email at this time asking for a call back. I received a call back on 01/02/2024, which was missed due to it coming in at 10:26AM. I called again on 01/08/2024 and again had to leave a voicemail and never received a call back. I called again on 01/16/2024 at 4:40PM and was on hold until I was forced to leave a voicemail at 5:13EST. I then followed up on the previous email that I sent on 12/29/2023 and put my phone number in the email requesting a call back. Per court documentation this balance was paid in full in March of 2020 and no one from this business will answer/call me back to explain why they are saying there is still a balance.Business response

On January 10, 2024 I received a bank garnishment for an old **************** *******. I had been paying arranged and agreed upon payments after a judgment was rendered against me to Javitch Block llc representing ********* ****.One day I was unable to make payment and called in to try and figure out what was going on. The employee would not allow me to make a payment or speak with me about payment as she said I had an attorney representing me and all communication had to be directed from him. I advised that I did not have an attorney representing me. No resolution was made at this time. Fast forward, to January 10, I now have a bank garnishment pending. I called and explained to Javitch Block llc what had happend and that I wanted to try and resolve this without draining my account as I had major bills clearing that very same day. The employee again this time was rude and downright nasty telling me that they can do whatever they want to get their money attempting to explain where her numbers I owed and mine were conflicting, very rude and unprofessional. She went on to tell me to call back in a few weeks to try and resolve this but at this time the garnishment stands and nothing they can do about it now. I explained again the hardship this will leave my family and I in and that I was willing to make whatever payments they needed me to to protect my bank account from garnishment. Again came back with the response of “we don’t care attitude.” Nothing was resolved and at this point leaves a very sour taste in my mouth with the customer service dept with Javitch Block. I would run far far away if I ever see ********* or Javitch Block on any credit inquires in the future. I just wanted to come up with a peaceful resolution!Business response

Consumer filed a BBB complaint regarding a garnishment and a phone call that took place on 1/10/2024. Defendant was on a temporary payment plan prior to judgment, but failed to come to an agreement on a new payment plan once that payment plan expired. Plaintiff filed a bank garnishment against Consumer’s bank account on or around 1/2/2024. Bank interrogatories are in the process of being completed and sent to the court, at such time, the court will decide what will happen to the frozen funds.

In response to the original compliant, you did nothing to resolve this matter. I have attempted to make several payment arrangements prior to a garnishment, please review records and phone calls with attempts made. I was trying my best to make this right and get this taken care of with no success on your company’s part. I again am still trying to make arrangements to prevent another garnishment and I am continuously being shot down and told to call back in a couple of weeks.
Now and in the future I will spread the word about Javitch Block and the poor customer service. I will never purchase another item that may use Javitch Block to represent them. Awful experience and awful customer service. I hope we can make this right with success on both your company, as well as, on my behalf, to come up with an arrangement for payment so we can get this closed and go our separate ways.

Have been trying to get a hold of this “Firm” for months now to settle debt to avoid going to court. When I call, I am left on hold, when I leave messages, they call back on weekends, when they are not even open/available. When I did end up having to go to court due to lack of communication on their part, I was granted a continuance. Since then, I have been trying to contact them and am always left on hold for extended periods of time. I have not once been able to contact a real person. Their representative in court was ordered to call/email me giving me contact information for a representative who could help me settle my debt, but never did.Business response

I received a letter from Javitch Block saying that I had to contact them and respond within a week or I would be sued. I have called several times and left several voicemails. No one will answer my call and no one has called me back. The last time I called the office was closed even though it says it’s business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm eastern stand time and it is 1:25 pm eastern standard time on Wednesday December 13. I spent my entire lunch hour from 1 pm eastern standard time to 2 pm eastern standard time on 12/12/23 with no answer. I just want to set up a payment arrangement so I don’t get sued.Business response

I was served with a lawsuit on 11/20/23 and have been trying to reach them to set up a payment plan for several days, left several messages, and filled out the contact form online. I have tried to contact Javitch Block numerous times to make a settlement on a debt and set up a payment plan. I have sat on hold with no answer and left messages with no return phone call. I never received any letters directly from them except them showing up to my grandmothers house looking for me and then at my house a week later.
