Aside from feeling I was scammed by the borrower and the seller in this ordeal. I learned yesterday I was listed on the mortgage as a co-borrower rather than a co-signer. In February I received an alert my credit score dropped over 100 points. I contacted the borrower to determine the reason. She then contacted Midland. Apparently Midland agreed to a repayment plan and unemployment plan with the borrower without consulting nor informing me. The borrower is stating the terms of both plans were poorly explained, as she had no knowledge the account would be reporting as delinquent throughout the course of the plan. As a co-borrower, if something will be negatively impacting my credit, I have every right to consent regarding changes and actions made on the loan. I did not learn of any of this until after the damage was done to my credit. Unbeknownst to myself until yesterday, I am listed as a co-borrower with the same mailing address as the borrower. I do not reside with the borrower. Credit is a major deal, and things like this should not be taken lightly. I should not be blindsided regarding the matters of this loan. There was never a verbal communication between the mortgagee and I. I would like for the delinquencies to be removed from my credit report and better communication regarding changes on a loan that puts my credit at risk.

Do to mortgage company's system issue misrepresent that didn't meet all conditions for HUD mortgage assistance end of 2023 application due to missed payment during the three month trail of HUD mortgage assistance program I qualified for at the time the system denied the apples. I was told this information by a representative of my Midland mortgage on 4/3/24. I sent proof that I did make all payments on 4/3/4. On 4/4/24 I followed up with mortgage company to confirm that they received proof of payment in order for them to proceed original HUD application. Per rep ***** at approx 11:50 am told me that yes they received proof of payment but that they are going to have to renege in moving forward with original application even issue was their system not properly updating the payments on the account. Instead without my consent processed a new mortgage assistance application request. I asked her what was needed to submit a complaint since they are not fulfilling their part of original application contract conditions. She said that she would have to submit it on my behalf and that I could not do so myself. They reneging to fullfil their part of original terms of application which is a breach of contact. I was never sent copy of terms/conditions, checked my inbox message center on company dite to get copy with no avail, and they would only provide conditions verbally. This has had a negative impact due to their systems issues, renigging, and not attempting to comply to original HUD application conditions.

I jointly own a house with my ex husband financed through Midland Mortgage. The house was in foreclosure last year but was taken out and the mortgage continued. I live in the house so I have paid for five months. Everything was fine until I received a letter March 30th 2024 saying the house would be auctioned April 30th. When I called despite being a 50 percent owner I was told they aren't authorized to speak with me about the house besides that it wasn't showing a foreclosure. The paper I received about the auction was from the clerk of my courts from my county and signed by a judge. The mortgage is due today and I'm scared to pay if they are taking my house in less than a month.

Dec 14 2023: received an email informing me that my application for mortgage assistance was received. On Dec 20 2023, I received a second email stating that mortgage assistance documents were available. Called the office that day and was informed that my mortgage assistance was in error and canceled. Jan 1 2024: I received another, new email saying that my application for mortgage assistance was received on Jan 2 2024, and received that same second email stating that my mortgage assistance documents were available. Feb 13 2024: I logged in to make my February mortgage payment and I noticed that the amount of my payment had decreased and that my next payment was not due until Mar 1 2024. I called your customer service line. Representative told me that it was likely a residual effect from the mortgage assistance issue from December and that I should just make the payment shown to cover my amount due, which is what I did. I even tried to add an additional amount, but the system would only let me pay the balance due.Mar 15 2024. I logged in to make my April payment and the system informed me, that the last payment received was in Dec 2023 Jan and Feb payments never got credited to my account. I called and explained my situation from the beginning and the employee put me only hold for several minutes. She came back on the phone with a very defensive and accusatory tone, saying that I probably clicked on a link on the website and by doing so it automatically signed me up for mortgage assistance. This is absurd. ** told her that I had already called to cancel it in the past, and that I wanted her to fix the issue. She said that there was nothing she could do.Mar 23 I received a call saying I am two months past due on my mortgage because of this mess. After logging in today, I again got a message that I signed up for mortgage assistance. Already messed up credit. This needs to be figured out and resolved IMMEDIATELY because it could jeopardize my job.

Absolutely disgusting! If you want your house to end up on auction.com because of these crooks, then bank with them! This private company has stolen $161,000 and fraudulently sold a home underneath the owner to auction. I have about a 55min recording of the representatives admitting the false foreclosure and auction! Im writing this to warn others about this disgusting and absolutely terrible company. Thanks for selling my childrens home from underneath their father. You should be ashamed of yourself! Rest assured, I have every document & like I said a personal 55 minute video of your **************************** including the foreclosure department admitting to the write off of the loan! On behalf of my childrens father, who you spoke to because hes the rightful owner of the house, ** always recording in the background, this will not be unheard nor unseen! Absolutely disgusting. The children will get their home back because its not right & completely ridiculous what this company has done! The sheriff department even did a false eviction & destroyed the property, also caught on video, behind the door. This bank should be closed down! Ridiculous.

I closed on my property 11/30/23, When Midland received the payoff from the title ** they held onto the money because it was $19,000 over payoff, so they sat on the money and did nothing but report me to the credit bureau on property I did not own that they had the money for, I reached out to them and they needed to talk to the title ** to get it resolved, so now my credit is ruined and they will not do anything about it

I turned 65 a few years ago and became tax-exempt in 2022 and Residential Homestead exempt. I called in May 2021 to get my exemption added to my account. Finally, in January of this year 2024, after being on the phone for one hour and 38 minutes I was able to get my 2023 exemption resolved. The supervisor informed me that the system could not go back to 2022 to readjust the exemption, She said her system would not allow her to go back that far. I called to see if there was an email where I could contact someone who could assist me and was told I would need to write a letter to Midland Mortgage. Right now my payments are behind because I want my account for 2022 to reflect the correct payment and pay-off balance. They will not provide an email to send my concerns to, and NO ONE can't seem to help otherwise. As I stated before the supervisor in Escrow was very helpful. but anything past 2023 she was not able to assist. I'm not looking for a refund just an adjustment to my account for 2022.

This is regarding loan number **********. We applied for mortgage assistance recently, my husband had a series of four strokes, our income was cut in half, due to him going on disability. we sent through all the required documents, which was a nightmare in itself because they were received but never uploaded so the process took MONTHS. finally i received a modification offer in the mail, wanting almost double the amount for the next 20 yearsseriously?? How is that even an option, raising my interest rate from 3 to 8% over 20 years, with our income cut in half? im wondering why the payments can not be added to the end of the existing loan, and paid back at the end, instead of a ridiculous modification offer, that is almost half of our monthly income. We need another option that is realistic and affordable due to our circumstances. We are a family of 4 and make under **** a month.Thank you
