I have submitted several letters of mortgage assumption without a reply. I have asked for a due on sale or foreclosure process and this company has not responded. I have admitted to them that *** broken contract by not living on property and they have not responded to any requests. Im taking responsibilty to signing a quit claim deed under duress while being in a domestic violence situation. I want the house sold or a due on sale notice rectified. They refuse to answer! Im willing to even take a hot on my report to foreclose. This is a desperate situation and they do not respond! The home is worth so much more and they could profit from this but nothing. No response.Initial Complaint

Midland Mortgage has refused to correct the problem on their end with my monthly payments. I did my first 3 trial payments of $642.39 for our modification and then my wife and I sent back the docs in January for our new payment for $609.01. I haven’t been able to make my payments online bc it reflects the $642.39 so each month I have to call my payment in to the modification dept and when I ask when the issue will be corrected they keep saying we are working on it. This company has been working on it for over a month now. No one there seems to know how to correct the problem and the customer service is horrible. Every time I call they say it will be fixed but as of today it hasn’t been corrected yet. The reviews for this company is horrible and in my opinion a Class Action Law Suit should be done against them! They only have a 1.9 starInitial Complaint

Midland Mortgage reported a payment as late/delinquent for my January 1st, 2025 mortgage payment. This reflected on my credit report and dropped it ************************************************************************************* March. However, my complaint is that they take weeks to post payments. My January 1st payment came out of my checking account on 01/27 (I have bank statements to prove this) and therefore was less than 30 days late so should have not been reported as delinquent. They are refusing to correct my credit report because they didnt post the payment on their end until 02/04. Id also like to note that I paid my February 1st mortgage payment on 01/31 and they did not post that payment until 02/11. I have reached out multiple times with zero resolution. Id also like to note these were electronic payments and not a check sent in the mail. My bank statements support this.Initial Complaint

This writer has secured documentation that the previous owner paid $1.00 for the property as they were indigent and that is all they could afford. It is a shame as the previous owner, even after the staging of the property would not let family and friends in to see the property this writer has purchased with ****** dollars. Indigent people should not hold up progress for people that want to get into their property after at closing the indigent person was given a 1500 dollar escrow and I want to know why as I still saw things wrong with the property but the deed had her purchasing amount and mine and simple interest in my mind is all that I will accept as per use of *********** then aurora loans and finally midland mortgage. They have stiffed me with a lot of fake, possibly fake modifications and raises in the mortgage payment and possible addition of lawyer fees to my account, alimony and all kinds of crappy things they can think of. Please investigate and send the mortgage deed paid in full to **** ******* now. If I don't receive a good workout plan from you within 30 days I am taking you to small claims court; just please don't show up. You owe me possibly.Initial Complaint

I received a letter that I needed additional flood insurance. However the law states that I do not need to carry additional insurance. I first reached out Oct *******. Representative said just upload a letter to my midland mortgage saying you do not want us to purchase insurance for you. I tried to do this several times. I couldn't even send an email to the email address she gave me. I called again in November. They told me to mail a letter in. I could not I have no stamps and no way to buy stamps. So I tried uploading the letter again. It wanted a pdf. Finally in January a representative told me that I could upload the letter a different way that they have been having problems with their system. She said to put in the letter I want the waiver to begin the first date of contact which was October. I received a waiver. The start date is the day they received my letter January 2025. I called again. I was told that they will only go by date if letter received. I never should have been forced to carry GAP insurance because my loan balance is ****** but they upped my insurance by $203,000!!!!! They are not willing to work with me. My house payment has gone up so much that I cannot afford to pay it because of this unlawful addition to flood insurance that by law I do not need to carry. On top of all this they have started adding late fees! I talked to several employees who don't care about what I am requesting. I need help with them braiding my account. This is unacce. The representative said they haven't heard from me. Being that I am a customer they should've reached out to me to see if I was having trouble. I cannot sit on a phone allllll day trying to fix something that they will not help me fix. Please help me. I am trying to pay extra payments to pay this off this year but I cannot because the extra payments will go towards this unlawful gap insuranceInitial Complaint

Midland is at it again trying to put my loan into a modification due to old paperwork in their files. They went back to 2022 and made it look like my loan was behind. I have paperwork from the last time when they had to reverse this modification.Initial Complaint

There is a partial claim filed against me in July of 2018 that was inaccurate and never completed. This uncompleted partial claim shows up on my title record that I owe money and I cannot qualify for an equity loan due to this. I have contacted Midland Mortgage on numerous occasions and continue to be told they are researching my complaint. It's been over a month and they still have not called me and are still unable to help me resolve my issue. I have provided them documents showing I did not owe they $149,000 in question on the partial claim and documents from *** claiming that I do not owe it and it just needs my mortgage servicer ( Midland Mortgage) to release it.Initial Complaint

My dad passed away 11 weeks ago and I inherited his property, there are currently squatters living in the home that I am in the process of evicting. These squatters logged onto the Midland online account and changed the contact email to theirs instead of mine, while doing that, they saw my phone number and address. I called Midland to ask about this, and they then informed me that they also called Midland pretending to me and my daughter (a crime!) Midland should have IMMEDIATELY called me and not given them any information!! That is not what happened, I was not told until I called them asking about the change of the email address on the account. I was told I could put a *** (privacy access code) on the account so that when someone logs in online or calls about the account, it would ask for a certain word before any information was given about the account. I have now called over 10 times and the *** has NEVER been asked for. When I start asking about it, they give all kinds of excuses ranging from a computer glitch, to it only asking for the *** on the 2nd page of the account, to it will be asked for next time you call in, which it never was. Because of Midland Mortgage, these squatters who are dangerous, now have all of my personal information. I have spoken to a supervisor, *** ******, to demand the auto and transcripts of the phone conversations between Midland and the squatters and was told to give her a few days. Those days have now passed, and I have called and left a voicemail, waiting on a return call from her, remains to be seen whether that call will ever be returned or not. The sheriff is now involved because calling and pretending to be someone to a mortgage company that you are not to get their personal information is a CRIME, as is the mortgage company releasing information to someone who is not on the account. ********************** KNOWS all of this information and still REFUSES TO SECURE THIS ACCOUNT.
