This loan company has been withdrawing from my bank account weekly draining my bank. I told them to put me on a monthly plan but they refused and insisted to withdraw weekly. I have been getting emails and calls from WithU Loans about an account which I did not open. I have never heard of the company and have no need for a loan service. They refuse to provide details on the loan without getting my SS# last-4 which I will not provide to cold callers due to scam risk.I am asking for them to provide a written copy of the account charges for my records in case they submit the claim for some dispute, they can send to the email account they have for me.The cold caller said they had my address but I have never received any postal mail of any kind. the emails reference Loan ID #******** and a loan of $1300 but no other info. I do not know what destination account the funding was sent to, but it wasn't to me,My credit report shows an inquiry from WithU Loans on 9/12/2023 which was also the first contact date from them by email and text message about applying for a loan. I responded by email on that same date 9/12/2023 that I had no business with their company and to cease and desist, and that this is suspected fradulent.None of my bank accounts received any funds from WithU Loans or any other unknown entity in September-2023, so they have not provided me any funds to reimburse. If it was a mistake, they have to find out who the money went to, as I have no way to do that, maybe someone used my email and cell #. I am rejecting this response because:The business is working with me via email to resolve, so that is good so far, but their instructions for me to follow to resolve included 1) submit a ************************ ***.gov identity theft report (which I did) and 2) repay amounts paid to me (which I cannot do because they did not send me any funds).
I will not accept this as closed until the business completes steps on their end per the *** recommendations: to investigate this matter, close the account and absolve me of all charges, take the steps required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and send me a letter explaining your findings and actions.

On 09/05/2023 with u loans deposited money into my account that I didnt know about and its been on auto repay. I found in my spam email the emails from them and upon creating an account today I see they have taken $1,100 of the $1,100 loan and say I have a remaining $4,566 to pay and I wasnt aware of this!Business Response

I received a letter in the mail saying I was approved for a loan when I applied for it I checked the bbb reviews and found out they were scammers. I immediately cancelled the loan within the time frame to rescind the loan as stated, they took their money back from my account but also took an extra $41.20 that didn't belong to them. I needed a loan for $1300. I came across WithU Loans, and they seemed legit. I read through every document that was presented within the application process, including where it said APR of *****% , and the page that said my payments would be $****** for 12 months. This is exactly what it said. I decided this seemed like a good deal so I accepted. I paid the first payment on September 12th. I was surprised when another payment was taken out the next week and then the next and so forth. I decided to double check so I went and checked my withu account. This is when I saw that it wasnt ****** a month but a week (which it did not state at all) I then checked the rest of the documents and saw that my *****% apr had been raised to ******% This was not the amount I agreed to. I know I will most likely get the same generic response as everyone else however posting your APR and then changing it afterwards is not following the law. Also this rate is illegal in my state and when I did call and speak to someone they proceeded to threaten me so I will no longer call them but will handle everything through email only. I also have contacted my attorney and the Attorney General as well to report them. I want my original contract back in place. I have already paid over the $1300 and should only have one payment remaining.Business Response

Beware!!! I received a loan from WithU in August for $1,800.00... Four months later (November) I paid the loan off in full at their requested payoff amount of $1,818.46. During the four months, WithU withdrew $313.84 every two weeks, so each month they were withdrawing a total of $627.68 from my bank account... it was absolutely awful, and not at all what I originally agreed to! In four months, I paid $3,138.40 in interest. My one time payoff payment of $1,818.46 plus the total amount of payments with interest that I paid totaled $4,956.86 by the time I closed the loan. I PAID $4,956.86 ON A $1,800.00 loan!!! WithU is extremely unethical and misleading, please stay away from them!Now, here's the kicker... after I called and paid off my loan in full, I was reassured that my loan was now CLOSED and that no payments would be withdrew from my bank account moving forward... but guess what, they withdrew another $313.84, UNAUTHORIZED!!! I called immediately, asking for some type of explanation. They refused to give me any type of explanation and were extremely rude and unprofessional. How can they possibly withdraw money from my bank account after my loan is closed? Fraud!This should be illegal, they are a predatory company and should be shut down.Business Response

Created account 11/29/23 for an emergency loan, was approved but am unable to get into my account. Everything says my account doesnt exist. The loan never came through, so no money was received, and the payments back will be over 6k. I requested a $1,300 loan and in over a year Im expected to pay $6,000 back?? The rate is over 500%, which was never told or stated throughout the process. It was heavily implied all Id be paying back was what I borrowed, making $120 payments A WEEK. What wasnt explicitly stated was the fact this was weekly for A YEAR.Id prefer to pay back the loan amount immediately, and then never move forward with this company again.
