I was sent an email (It went to my junk folder) on 12/7/24 stating my loan has been approved and my money was on the way. I applied for a loan with another company and it seems like my information was sent out to random companies including withU. So I got a bunch of random emails saying the same thing. But this is the only company I have noticed deposited and been withdrawing money from my account. They have been taking out $128.88 out my account every week for a $1,300 loan. So far they have taken $1,675.44 out my account, claiming a APR of over 500%! That is absolutely not what I agreed to! Very bait and switch! On their website I see they say no hidden fees, no pre-payment penalties! Yet all information has been misleading until after they already deposit the money into your account then random documents they never sent copies of to mail or via email, you can only access it on their website once you see what's going on, (which is not what was shown originally) shows you "agreed" to all this random predatory stuff! Principal Loan Amount = The original amount borrowed. Total Loan Amount = Principal + Interest + Fees and other associated costs. These amounts listed does not match what they charge or what they said they would charge. What they say will be your total loan is not what they actually will charge you for! They also do not allow you to remove your payment methods, the site will just keep saying error. I believe I have been subjected to unfair, deceptive, and predatory lending practices, including misleading terms, excessive interest rates, and unauthorized withdrawal from my bank account. I got a loan with WithU Loan on 2/3/25 for an emergency. I logged online and paid the loan off on 2/21/25. The funds were returned for some reason, and now the payoff amount is almost $100 more due to the interest that has accrued since opening the loan. I understand interest, and I loans. But I was not aware that my loan did not get paid off on 2/21. I tried calling, and I spoke with 3 very rude customer service representatives and supervisors within their department who were not very helpful in this matter to help me. They said since I had not contacted the,m they could not go back to 2/21 to make the corrections, but I was not made aware the loan had not been taken care of.Business Response

This business operates a predatory loan system for somebody needing quick cash and quickly becoming buried, even even further in debt due to the insane interest and you wind up paying back quadruple the amount of money you borrowed. They have continuously debited my bank account when I have requested no automatic payments which has further buried me in bank fees to the point. My bankaccount has to be closed.. I have paid back way more than I have borrowed to the company and believe this that should be well and settled not affecting my creditfurther.Business Response

So I received an email from Withu loans that states "oops..you missed a payment". And to call them to make payment arrangements. Now a long time ago I took a loan with them, and definitely not recently. So when I investigated this, this states I took out a loan on Feb 5 2025. So I looked my credit score up and there was no credit pull done on me from this company from the 3 credit bureaus, and there was definitely no deposit of any kind from this company into my bank account, and I feel like their defiantly trying to get me to pay for a loan that I have not taken out with them. They did respond back by email and ask that I call them and be set up on payment plans. I will not make any calls to this company. This is very upsetting to me and I do not like being taken advantage of like this!!!!!!!!! This is harassment... And I want it stopped!!!!Business Response

Due to being out of work for a length of time, I fell behind on my bills and had to get a loan through with u to get caught back up. The first loan I received from them was for $800 dollars, and due to the insane high interest i have paid back THOUSANDS of dollars more than I should have. Regardless I had 162.14 taken out of every single paycheck for months. When I paid this off, I had to get emergency dental surgery and needed to take out another loan, this one being 1200. I was approved for this but the apr is a STAGGERING 500%, meaning I would be paying close to 4,000 dollars if I continue to pay the bi-weekly payments of over $260. Seeing as I have already paid back the company more than both of the two loans combined, I am requesting that the loan be settled and closed. If we cannot settle it, I am requesting a reasonable amount less to pay back to the company with a much lower APR.Business Response

I received notification that a non-credit loan with WITHU Loan in the amount of $1300 was opened in my name on 2/25/25 that I never authorized. I don't know who this company is and have never inquired with anyone about opening a new loan.Business Response

I applied for a loan for 1,000.00. I was desperate seeing that I was about to be evicted. They approved me immediately and had me verbally over the phone "sign " the agreement. After that call I received an email that explained the loan agreement and EFT agreement. They take 254.00 dollars every 2 weeks on auto pay. I have already paid 1,778.00 and my loan agreement says I will not be paid off..or done..until I've paid 3,078.00. I don't understand how this can even be legal and why WithU loans hasn't been shut down or stopped. It's so cruel and unfair to take advantage of people in desperate situations seeking help. I got an offer for 600 dollars. It was a 500% interest rate but I was going to borrow and pay right back I had an emergency come up. They approved me quickly and then I realized the account number was incorrect and I wanted it corrected. The girl couldn't speak good English so I got through to a Supervisor **** who seemed nice. I got the info corrected and she said that I had to send a copy of my license front and back and a copy of my income. She seemed confused about my income because I told her I was retired. Anyways I also told her that I had other income if I needed that but the application only had one source of income. She told me that for the $400 dollars that I would be ok. Here what she didn't tell me is she was sending me back to reverification which was a more difficult way to get approved after I already was approved and just needed to get my bank account number right. I even had my approval number. 4 hours of this for $400 dollars. I sent my income in and my drivers license and then when I called back in they denied me. This girl ******* said real coldly your application was denied. I feel I was set up and they were just mocking me. I never got the first email link I was supposed to get to sign the application. I thought my email wasn't working. The first guy I could understand and he was really doing a good job but if you need to ask any questions you run into problems immediately. Honestly I am very angry and I feel humiliated. As an American to have to pay a 500% interest rate is bad enough but to them put you through all that to just decline you. I want that decline taken off my credit report immediately. I was already approved and that decline will make it more difficult to get another loan. They set me up.Business Response

I got a loan with WithU loans after some unexpected hardships, they expect me to pay them back weekly after when signing up I specifically stated monthly, then the loan was only for 1100$, they want 132$ every week for an eternity . I’ve tried reaching out to them but they state there’s nothing they can do.
