Ordering from this site was a mistake, never again. i ordered 2 roses and paid over $100 for them. First, they promised to deliver on the date i choose. that was a lie, after talking to customer service questioning where my ********************** at , I've been told that the date is estimated, did not work for me at all.Second, the condition the roses were delivered was absolutely unacceptable for the price i paid. They had no leaves on them, one plant had yellow, diseased looking leaves. Will not recommend buying from this site, better to shop at a local nursery.Heirloom Roses Inc Response

Thank you for your feedback. We took a look at your order and and reviewed the communication surrounding it, via email and phone. As we explained in your order confirmation email and via telephone both times our agents spoke with you, we strive to meet requested arrival dates. However, occasionally there can be carrier delays beyond our control that affect the timing of your delivery. The roses in the photos you sent look strong and healthy.... ready to be planted in your garden. We emailed you a video prior to shipping that explains how your roses are prepared for shipment. We defoliate your premier own-root roses, to help them retain moisture while in transit. Any remaining foliage that dries or yellows during the trip, can simply be removed. Once planted, your new rose will starting pushing new grown in a few short weeks. If you have any further concerns after following planting and care instructions, your roses are covered by Our Guarantee. You can read all about our warranty at **************************************************************************; Please feel free to reach out to our team with any questions or help with anything. We are here to help you along your rose journey!Review from Gene B

Planted the rose bushes per Heirloom instructions. After several weeks saw some dead leaves on bushes and contacted Heirloom. They gave me instructions on what to do after seeing picture. 8 weeks from planting the rose bushes look healthy and the roses are just stunning. I hope they put the picture I sent to Heirloom on their websiteReview from Riggie C

They have advertised all over their website that they only sell "own-root roses" (never grafted). The two plants I purchased less than a year ago are currently in bloom and are producing two very different looking flowers. The plants should be producing cream colored florabunda type blooms and instead I have a mix of cream floribunda blooms and cream tea rose blooms. Upon more research and further examination, there are clear signs that the plants I received are infact grafted. I contacted customer service via their online message form. It's already sketchy to me that they don't have an actual email address for customer service, so you don't have any way to prove you messaged them. Not impressed with that. Regardless, I requested a refund and I'm waiting for a response. I have pictures but if course can't submit them on their online form.Heirloom Roses Inc Response

Heirloom Roses indeed only sells own-root roses, which are propagated right here at our family nursery in ************, ******. Upon receiving your contact request, we immediately sent a confirmation to you from our email address, ******************************** We have reviewed the photos you sent and can clearly see that you have an own-root rose, with no bud union or graft.
It takes time for young blooms of an own-root rose to develop their true color, size, fragrance, and petal structure. Additionally, the *********************** you're experiencing, likely due to wet conditions, may be causing your concern. However, we can assure you 100% that you did not receive a grafted rose.
As we mentioned in our email, please cut off any damaged or spent blooms and wait for the next flush of flowers. If you still have concerns about your rose after this, please respond to that email with photos of the fresher blooms. We look forward to hearing from you.Review from Jim C

We're really sorry to hear that you're not happy with your purchase. We understand how disappointing this must be for you.As we mentioned earlier in our email, our roses are first-year own-root roses, which are typically ***** inches high. We don't sell two-year-old roses that arrive three feet tall with blooms and flowers, which is what you told our agent you purchased. We strive to communicate this clearly to our customers and we send everyone who purchases a video showing what expect when your roses arrive. It is also posted on our website. To ensure our roses retain moisture during transit, we defoliate them before shipping. Once you plant them, they should start growing new leaves within a few weeks, and you can look forward to seeing blooms this summer. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our team at ************. We're here to help.Review from Megan M

Ordered three varieties of roses this year and did not realize that they were not bare root - I had ordered bare root peonies from another company around the same time - so they were left sealed in a box for over a month after delivery while I waited for the alternating rain and incredibly hot weather to take a break. To my shock, horror, and ultimately sadness, I opened the box to live plants that had been deprived of sunlight and water. I didn't have much hope for them, but I popped them in the ground anyways because they had a few small, ***** white leaves that had grown while they were boxed and started looking at local nurseries for similar varieties as back-**** This is all my fault of course for not realizing I had ordered live plants and for not opening the box upon delivery.MY GOSH to say that I am floored would be an understatement. All three plants have bounded back to life and are thriving despite my initial neglect. Whatever the folks at Heirloom Roses are doing to produce such quality (indestructible, maybe?) plants is incredible and I could not be happier that I ordered from them. I cannot wait to see these blooms when the plants are ready!Review from Anne N

I wanted to let every gardener I know how much I appreciate doing business with Heirloom Roses. I recently tried another vendor, ******************* Farm and it has been an absolute nightmare. It only takes a quick moment on ************* Vendor Feedback page to understand customers who have had horrible experiences. My experience in online ordering roses, really points to Heirloom's quality, integrity, and wonderful customer service. So Thank You for providing a safe place to shop who values my business.Review from Tom D
