I have pre-ordered a 5 -6 foot ***** Lemon Tree 3 months ago! And paid for it! It was supposed to be shipped at the end of March. Then I was told that oops, it will take a little longer and it will be shipped at the end of April. Then the end of April became the beginnig of June. When I called to inquire I was told it will be the end of June and they gave me a discount for the 3 months wait. Then I was told that they don't have a 5-6 foot ***** Lemon Tree, but they will send a 4-5 foot tree. So, I said fine, it's better then nothing. Then I received an email today that they "made a mistake" when they offered the 4-5 foot 3 and that my order was cancelled. They did refund my money after keeping them for 3 months without me getting anything. They should have pain intrest or sent some sort of a bonus or something for selling me something they didn't actually have and stringing me along for 3 months.I don't recommend buying anything from them as they don't appear to be able to provide what they advertise!

Im hurt and sadly disappointed in FGT.I been a loyal customer for 5 years, spent thousands there in the this past 5 years and highly spoke of them to familys and friends. Unfortunately they couldnt honor the 2 Fuyu tree that I purchases as a gift to a friend.I place that order on 6/14/24 but didnt receive it until 9/6 due to out of stock after I made the order, i have reach out to them 6/16/25 about the 2 plant and they say it was past the 365 days warranty and offer me a 20% off next order. This solution disguised me!To be exact day it is 365 days counting as of 6/14/24-6/16/25 ( there warranty say 365 days!)Not to mention they never notify me that the order was out of stock or reach out to me, I found out after a month of waiting with no delivery update so I call them to find out its out of stock. I didnt receive the tree until 9/6, so is that fair that they count as 6/14? You be the judge, I will not support this kind business again. They do have very healthy plant/ tree, there price is high but I didnt mind paying for a healthy plant.Everything goes well until you run into a warranty problem.

We sincerely apologize that you had difficulties getting assistance with the warranty for your Fuyu Persimmon trees. The One Year Warranty begins when the product has been shipped so this should have been covered and are glad we were able to honor this for you and issued a store credit but please let us know if you need any additional assistance.

Ordered 2 strawberry vanilla hydrangeas. Package arrived broken in half, shrub branches broken, very dry. I posted a complaint on the website electronically and they have not responded at all. I DO NOT recommend this company at all.

I only wish that I read these reviews before spending close to $500. Regardless of what they say about how great they are about honoring their own policy and tree health, I will be polite here and say that it is less then sterling. On May 2, 2025, we decided on buying 4 trees (of what I thought) and another plant. We received the trees on May, 13 and opened them the next day and 2 things that surprised me that I was missing a Mimosa that was a buy one get one deal for about $250. The other was the Red Maple that had a cancer like black dry spots throughout its leaves and looked about ready to die.I sent a message regarding this the same day and five days later received my first response. To make this brief, it was a back and forth with me sending them pictures and getting responses which some did not address both of my issues. The last message was this from the company; (Regarding our BOGO (Buy One, Get One) promotion: When this offer is active, customers need to add the total number of plants they want to receive to their cart. For example, if you want 2 plants (1 paid + 1 free), you must add 2 items to your cart. The system will then automatically apply the discount at checkout, showing one item as ******* your case, only one Chocolate Mimosa was added and purchased, which is why only one was shipped. That said, weve made a one-time exception and have already shipped the second Mimosa to you. Please note that since it has been over a month since your order, we kindly ask customers to contact us sooner in such cases to help us resolve issues more efficiently.)Not sure of what I am missing about BOGO since the offer should be evident in its wording. At this point, I am about ready to dig up the Maple which still looks like it is ready to die and get a refund though I am almost certain I will have to dispute this with my credit card company.

Tree died within a month. I was told my guarantee had expired when I reached out and did not receive a replacement or refund on a $200+ tree.

I spent $75 on two “2-gallon” Heritage raspberry bushes during a BOGO promotion, plus another $118 on two Meyer lemon trees—all four plants were shipped together in the same box. The packaging was flimsy and everything arrived damaged. The raspberry bushes were the most expensive option, costing $30 more than their 1-quart counterparts, with the promise that the larger rootballs would result in faster fruit production. What I received were bushes with clear 1-quart rootballs, hastily placed into 2-gallon containers. You could see the obvious separation between the small root mass and the fresh surrounding soil—suggesting they were repotted just before shipping to justify the inflated price. I contacted customer service and was offered a $12 refund, which felt like a token gesture rather than a resolution. Days later, I found healthy, established 2-gallon raspberry bushes at my local store for $23 each—actual 2-gallon plants with full root systems and no damage. To make matters worse, Fast Growing Trees uses a third-party review platform (Yotpo) that filters out negative reviews. I have been trying to leave honest feedback for days, but it will not post unless it’s overwhelmingly positive. This creates a misleading customer experience and contributes to why I trusted the purchase in the first place. Between the damaged shipment, misrepresented products, and inability to leave a public review, this felt less like an honest transaction and more like a well-polished bait-and-switch. I won’t be ordering from this company again

I had a very frustrating experience with Fast Growing Trees. I purchased two Dwarf Korean Lilac Trees on May 9th. One of them broke because it was shipped with inadequate packaging. Only a single small stake was provided for a very fragile and expensive tree.Their ************** Guarantee clearly states:If youre not satisfied after receiving your trees and plants, our ************** Guarantee covers quality issues with your plants within the timeframe.I contacted them within the 30-day guarantee window to report a quality issue due to packaging, not weather or neglect. The tree failed under normal care due to their poor shipping practices. This is exactly what the guarantee is supposed to protect against.Despite multiple polite attempts to resolve this, they refused to honor their guarantee and only offered a 30% discount on a replacement. They completely ignored their own written policy.I will be filing a chargeback and want to warn other customers. Be very cautious about ordering from this company. Their packaging is inadequate for fragile plants and they do not stand behind their guarantee when an issue arises.

I ordered three trees and had problems with two of them. I submitted for the warranty and received a quick response but the process turned into a nightmare. The customer service *** offered to ***lace the trees but when I followed up they noted that they mistakenly processed a partial store credit in error and the trees were no longer available. They then offered to ***lace the trees again but when I followed up I was then told they are no longer under warranty and I could only receive a partial credit. I was then offered a full rebate that was never honored. When I followed up, I was assigned a different customer service *** who informed me the previous *** was wrong and I was only qualified for a partial store credit. This back and forth has gone on for multiple weeks and the decision they made was to not honor anything that their customer service agent committed to.

Review for Fast Growing Trees Disappointed and ************************** I ordered four forsythia plants from Fast Growing Trees and was extremely disappointed. Their website shows beautiful, mature, blooming bushesbut what I got were 8-inch starter plants, one already sick, and one with its root ball out of the pot. Each plant cost $60. For that kind of price, I expected something more established and healthy. They advertise these shrubs grow two feet per year. Mine have grown about two inches in two months. When I reached out to customer support, they pointed me to their one-year warrantybut getting help requires you to run your own tests to prove a plant is failing. No refund. No accountability. Their customer service is all about covering themselves, not helping the ******** not buy from this company. Buy local, where you can see the plant and get real service. I learned my ******* Fast Growing Trees is misleading, overpriced, and not trustworthy.

We sincerely apologize that your plants arrived in poor condition and are not growing as anticipated. Once initially planted, the plants tend to focus on root establishment and the growth rate should pick up in the second and third growing seasons. You can also fertilize in early spring to help encourage new growth. Let us know if we can be of additional assistance.

Do you think I am some city slicker thats never planted a shrub or ****? The one forsythia is dead. Not sure why but its dropped all its leaves and is a twig. The other three are healthy though not growing. Replace the **** plant.

I purchased several plants from Fast Growing Trees based on their advertised guarantee. When the plants failed to thrive, I contacted customer service and followed their instructions preciselyincluding waiting an additional time and providing updates as requested.Despite doing everything they asked, I was ultimately told the issue was due to my neglect an excuse that was never mentioned in earlier communications and felt like a convenient way to deny responsibility. No replacement, no refund, no store creditjust a dismissive *********** my view, this guarantee is misleading. The company appears far more focused on avoiding claims than honoring them. Im disappointed in both the product and the customer experience, and I would not recommend ordering from them.
