1 starI wish I would have read the many poor reviews here first. I ordered 8 shrubs that arrived half dead. I thought they would perk up. I immediately planted them. A week later they still look half dead. The customer service *** said that I should wait another month. The same shrubs at ********** are beautiful and less expensive. ****** learned.Review fromTerrance A

My dogwood tree arrived distressed from shipping. When I opened the box, I found the root ball had separated from the dirt. I planted a tree from Fast Growing Trees over a month ago. I planted the tree over a month ago, and it has not pushed out any growth. Now the pitiful growth that was on the tree is turning brown. Fast Growing trees keeps telling me it just needs more time. I have to agree. It just needs a little more time to die. The company is slow to respond and keeps telling me to wait. I would like to get a thriving tree going while it's still summer.FastGrowingTrees.com

Thank you for your feedback. we are so sorry your dogwood is not growing as anticipated. When initially planted, trees will focus on root establishment and you should see new above ground growth after about 4 to 6 weeks of acclimating. Let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.Review fromLouis C

Bought a Japanese Red Dragon April 17th 2024. Plant died with proper care in a year's time. I tired for months to revive it to no avail. By me Taking time to help the tree my "warranty" expired by 19 Days from the time i reached out, and refused to honor any sort of help besides a 30% off coupon ( which is basically 10% because they run scam discounts of 20% all year long ) Warranty starts from the time you purchase it and not the time it arrives. SO basically i was a week out of warranty. I reached out to them May 5th 2025 and it took them **************************************** I'm SOL. I will never buy anything from these people ever again and neither should YOU!buyer bewareFastGrowingTrees.com

Purchased two plants, a **** ****** and a potted Knock Out Petite Red Rose from their website in 2022. Both seem to be healthy and were thriving and did so for the two years. By Fall of 2024 the ****** started shedding its leaves and looked awful. The petite roses were even worse and looked like the summer had burned it leaves. I had read on the website that I should but it in my patio and it would eventually come back to life. Wrong!! When this didnt happen I contacted their customer service in March, and was told to fill out a lengthy questionnaire, which was emailed to me, along with sending them photos of both trees. Once received the horticultural staff would get back to me with how to proceed. I am still waiting. I contacted them again how unsatisfied I was and question what was the purpose of the questionnaire. I also asked for a refund. I was told because it was past the warranty all I could get was a lossy 30% off another purchase and a condescending response that it is always hard when one loses a plant. I called customer service again and was told to do a scratch test on the plant which I should to do during the initial phone call back in March. I was told that a team member was going to call me about what happened but I am still waiting. Luckily the **** ****** has come back to life. I would not recommend this website to anyone. I have never been so frustrated in my life with the lack of communication and common decency of communication from this company. Their plants are overpriced and their plant experts should not give out inaccurately information or advice unless they actually know what theyre talking about. Is it too much to ask for an apology or explanation of what happened to my plant?FastGrowingTrees.com

We sincierly apologize that your plants perished. We understand how frustrating that can be after caring for them over the years. Unfortunatly it looks like this order was only covered under our One Year Warranty so due to the age of the order it would no longer be covered however we are happy to provide planting and care advise if you do chose to reorder in the future. Do not hesitate to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.Review fromCarole M

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! On February 2, 2025, I ordered two avocado trees, a **** and a Cold Hardy for the amount of $252.29. When they arrived, the Cold Hardy was FULL of spider mites and was clearly dying. I sprayed them with the correct spray, but they had already done so much damage the leaves were nearly gone. They had spread to the **** tree as well, which I am still struggling to keep alive. I could not find a phone number so I completed the online form and NOTHING for two weeks. By then the SECOND ORDER of apple trees I had paid for to the tune of $325.37 had arrived, which I ordered on March 6, 2025. The Granny ***** apple tree was broken in half on BOTH TRUNKS. I sent photos of the broken box, the note from the FEDEX driver, as well as pictures of the Honeycrisp tree, which was full of spider mites like the avocado trees had been. I have called numerous times, no one ever answers the phone. I have had an ongoing email thread with both "*********" and "******/Plant Expert" telling me they will resend the one Granny ***** tree, and nothing. I have had ZERO response to my demand for ALL MONIES PAID to them, including shipping, to be refunded immediately and they keep writing to say "it looks like our communication has slowed, so we are closing this matter." So, I have now filed a SMALL CLAIMS COURT ACTION against this company for $577.66 plus, loss of all of the fruit I would have gotten this year as it is now too late to plant them and have them fruit. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!FastGrowingTrees.com

This was my first time placing an order with this company and will be my last time! This place is a scam! Buyers beware! They do not provide a refund even when they sell out of the tree/plant you initially ordered. I did not get an update on my order until I initiated an update on their website. They will only provide store credit. I feel like this a way to get the consumer to spend more money on their products. I want my money back so I can go elsewhere. I dont want store credit. What a horrible company and experience.FastGrowingTrees.com

Be very careful purchasing from this company or you may end up being charged for their mistakes! I placed an order that never showed up, ***** tracking shows due to the parcel being rejected due to damage. When I filed a claim with their customer service team it took a long time to ever hear back and the only solution they offered was paying $65 in shipping to have part of the order shipped back. They didn't even have stock of my original order but still are forcing me to pay shipping to have different items shipped, how is that legal/ethical? I understand charging customers for shipping / restocking fee if they just change their mind about a purchase, but my order NEVER SHOWED UP and they don't even have some of the original items from my order to return even if I wanted to pay the $65 shipping fee. Why should I be punished as a customer because the packaging wasn't good enough to survive shipping??FastGrowingTrees.com

1 starI have many trees from Fast Growing Trees with no problems. Last year I bought a cherry tree. It arrived dead. Too late to reorder so gave me credit and I ordered this year. After 2 delays, it arrived broken and dead. The lilac I ordered has yet to appear. I do not recommend this company any more. Two years and they can't manage to send me ONE decent tree.Review fromLynn H

1 starHorrendous disrespect for customers over damaged ********************. I received a tree from FGT the box was damaged the tree had all but 2 limbs broke off limp and dying. I uploaded pictures like asked to their customer service **** a few times. They never responded so I had to call. Finally got through and they said they would replace the tree and ship it out. I got the tree and it literally had 2 leaves on a very small stem on the tree nothing but a stick with no support to the trunk. My immediate response was to laugh which I did and said to myself is there a hidden camera around to catch my shock? Then I got mad. A stick with 2 leaves on it. It was like they all said " oh you wanna complain about two limbs, now you got two leaves". I feel this was an intentional act. Why would a business send out a replacement item that's worse than the original item unless they were trying to make a statement or irritate a customer that complained? I own a business and we'd never do this to a customer.Review fromBenjamin S

Bought trees from this company thinking they knew what they were doing considering their business name. Unfortunately, theyre a big box company with extremely poor customer service. They claim a arrive and thrive plant. I assure you that is NOT the case. It will definitely arrive but it wont thrive. Dont bother doing the scratch test or sending pictures, its a waste of time!Im an avid gardener, never having any issue. Yet, all 10 trees bought from them died.FastGrowingTrees.com
