Never again will I use or recommend this company. Whats the point in having a warranty company when these people turn right around and charge you $700 for "modification pieces". I have done plumbing work for nearly 8 years and can do the work myself, however I figured since I have a warranty Ill let someone else take control. There is nothing "modified" on the water heater, this is just a scam to get more money since AHS doesn't pay this company enough to do work. I called the office and the lady on the phone gave me a reasoning that her boss increased the prices and this is standard on any repairs.... Waste of time, I should have known this looking at the reviews.Review from jammi B

Have a leak some where under sink .I have AHS and went through them Wade's showed up 2 days later, said he is baffled can't find it.Ryan the tech said to call when it happens again,called next morning, no response from them. Called AHS many times they tried to contact Wade's finally came back 5 days later. Ryan checked told me he just can't find the leak even though sees water coming through floor boards, has to return with owner and the office would set it up. NEVER heard back from them, still trying to get AHS to get someone else here . This has been going on since 10/18/23 and still have the leak and its gotten worse. Terrible, unprofessional company i have ever dealt with.American Home Shield still hasn't set another plumber to fix the problem. AHS is just as bad all they say is 24-48 hrs for someone to respond, well its been 15 days and nothing.Review from Emily M

Truly the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. We were provided their services through our home warranty company, ******** **** ******. Our water heater died and Wade's installed the new one. They installed the water heater improperly, it leaked under our house for a month, and caused mold and ruined the brand new water heater. They refused to return our phone calls. When the technician came out to look at the leak, he said that it was installed improperly and that the clamp was not properly placed on the pipe. They are now claiming that it was a defective fitting after point blank telling us that it was an improper install. They refuse to return the $500.00 we paid them or offer money for a new water heater. I would NEVER recommend their services, and if you have ******** **** ****** as a warranty company, find a new one. Wade's is currently their only plumbing contractor and they are untrustworthy, unprofessional and clearly not skilled in their trade.Review from Nesha S

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Will have you waiting and not inform customers not able to make it to service repair. Scheduled service 9/7/23, here it is 9/29/23 and still no Wades Plumbing ******** **** ****** you know you can do better with an contracted plumbing company. This is seriously ridiculous and uncalled for. Do better!Review from Juan M

Terrible service. Unreliable and unprofessional. Came to repair water heater, left a gasleak, still going on after 3 visits. Fails to show up when Ignore my calls and texts. Got their services through HSA even ignored their escalation emergency request for gas leak!Review from Mathew H.

Very unprofessional! Have had no hot water for two weeks. My pregnant wife and I find it difficult to bath and shower. They were sent a request through ******** **** ****** to replace our water heater. They came out Monday May 2 to check it out. Then after a couple unresponsive phone calls and messages and a week later, they called saying they have it finally. They were supposed to show up Thursday May 12 between 2-6, no one showed. The tech, Adrian, called around 715pm asking to reschedule. I said no, we work. Terrible service, no communication at all. This was through American Home Shield, they haven't helped at all either. We are finding another home warranty provider!Customer Response

I would like to add that I told them to keep the heater and not to come. The office manager said we will not be billed the $550, so we shall see.
