    False advertisement! They advertised a condo as being family friendly and ocean view. We drove 6 hours to ****** beach and found it was all a lie. What we found was a security guard with multiple guns, roaches, strong smell of weed and cigarettes, leaking ac, no ocean view. We were left with no place to stay due to this being a terrible place! They refused to give our money back also =(

    Hello again. We have responded to your many reviews, but we are happy to reiterate here. There was no false information given to you. The condo is exactly as advertised with the ocean views located in a family friendly resort with many available amenities. There is on site security, because this is a very large resort with 9 buildings stretching over 4 city blocks. The traffic and occupancy are both high, therefore it never hurts to have security if needed. They patrol the parking lots and common areas to ensure the safety of all guests, tourists and travelers. You made many accusations in your reviews but did not provide any photos, nor did you report anything when you checked in. Appropriate departments were sent out to assess the unit and situation after you departed and were not able to validate these claims. You stated we refused to give you any money back, but that was also incorrect. Proof of a partial refund can be shown if necessary. Thank you.

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. Arrived at the listing that stated "everything you need to cook" to find the oven/stove had been removed and a hole left in it's place. Contacted the listing company and asked to be moved to another unit or to have something delivered so we would be able to cook. Was told that was not happening in a very rude way. Asked what could be done to resolve the issue and was told nothing, "we were out of luck". Looked over the rest of the place and found bed bug remains in the sheets and high tailed it out of the place. Requested a refund since there was no way we were going to stay in a place that had remains of a bug infestation and was falsely advertised as having a full kitchen. The rental company said again we were quote "out of luck". Filed a dispute with my credit card company and will be disputing this charge for who knows how long. I will seek legal action since we have detailed evidence of the bed bugs/lack of stove and a copy of the list if this is not resolved through the credit card company. This company was called "Coastline Beach Rentals" but changed it's name. Coastline Beach Rentals has a 1 start rating on most sites and I am sure why the name change. ****** has a much better reputation and I am certain this is why the merger or buy out and name change. Renters beware this is not a Casago operation and the reviews are starting to come in now to show this. When we rented it was rated off other locations.

    We would first like to apologize that you were unhappy with your stay. The unit you booked never advertised a stove/oven and the photos on the listing are accurate. It advertises a kitchenette area with full size appliances, not a full kitchen. There is a full-size fridge/freezer in the unit, a full sink, microwave, coffee pot, etc. In the amenities section, there is no stove or oven listed because it does not have one. We never offered or advertised it, not to mention the photos in the listing you viewed before booking never showed a stove or oven because there is not one. That being said, there is also no large hole "in its place" as you described. The area you are referencing is an under the counter area that is open to store a trash can out of the walkway space since the area is not large. You also never reported bed bugs during your stay. In the final call you made to the office, it was stated there was something on the bed that looks like a bug. This is in no way an indication that there were bedbugs. Despite the miscommunication, an inspection was still done and there were no bedbugs nor previous bedbug activity detected. Our name change was well deserved, and we are proud to have worked hard enough to make it to where we are. We again apologize that you were not happy with your stay. We welcome all reviews and appreciate the opportunity to continue to learn and grow. Have a great day!

    We used Coastline as our rental company for our condo. We e-mail them to let them know we are selling our condo and would let them know when it sells. ***** e-mail me back saying let him know when it sells. We emailed them Aug 2,2023 to let the know it sold. ***** e-mailed me back saying sorry to see you go. I had given his office the buyers name and address. Went to settlement on Aug. 24,2023, afterward I called Coastline and told them we had gone to settlement. They said they will let the office person know. When we received our August statement from them in Sept., they charged us for bring the chairs in before the storm and putting they back out after the storm(Aug. 30, 2023) and checking on the condo Aug.31,2023. We were not the owners anymore. I email Coastline got the run around. saying we didn't tell them this and that. We did just what our contract said to do. Also they rented the condo out in Sept. I bet the new owners didn't get the money. Still waiting on my ***** they owe us, since the condo wasn't ours anymore.

    ******, I'm really disappointed to read your complaint. We've discussed this numerous times, and it's unfortunate that you felt the need to leave us a poor review. During our short time together, we bent over backwards for you, and we looked after your investment property with extreme care. We communicated with you in a timely manner, and you always received your monthly statement and income disbursement on time, or ahead of schedule. When you had questions, we were always there to offer an honest response. When your HOA and Resort was under litigation and your guests couldn't use the pools, wifi, or cable, we reduced your commission to help offset some of the troubles. Looking back, it seems like we made a sincere effort in looking after your best interest. You're correct, you notified us that you were selling the property. You're correct, you provided us with the buyers' name and address. However, we were never able to reach the buyers, as you only supplied us with the homeowners mailing address. As I mentioned in our email correspondence regarding this matter, the problem is that you never supplied us with the closing statement so that we could officially change ownership in our system. Hundreds of Sea Mist properties sell each year; many get delayed, and many never close on time. We rely solely on the closing documents to make the official change of ownership in our system, and this is the main issue at hand. We were never supplied with those documents. The realtors never reached out to me like I had asked. The buyers never contacted us. It is standard procedure for the rental company to be given these documents in order to change the ownership in our system, otherwise, we have no idea when the property sells, closes, and records with the ******************************. Because we never received proper documentation regarding the closing, we had no official records of the settlement. This isn't about a $30 charge, it's about the principal of the matter. I don't think it's fair for the rental company to have to pay for this charge when we never received official documentation regarding the closing. I also don't think it's necessarily fair for you to have to pay it either, which is why I recommended that you reach out to your closing attorney and ask them to make the adjustment regarding the charge. The attorney simply needed to reach out to the buyer / new owner, explain the situation, and have the adjustment corrected. Since we opened the business in 2016, we have never run into this issue. I'm very sorry for the frustration.

    STAY AWAY, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT UTILIZING COASTLINE BEACH RENTALS, EVER, INEPT MGT/OWNERSHIP. We had a room infested with cockroaches in July of 2023 (9th floor, Sea Mist ****** Myrtle *********************** SC). Cockroaches weren't the worst, it was how this inept *********** dealt with the problem. We paid a lot of money for an ocean view room with a full kitchen for 4 nights, contacted them with pictures and video of cockroaches, they were slow to respond but eventually moved us to a parking lot view, no kitchen room in another building (as I felt the entire SEA MIST CONDO was cockroach infested since we were on the 9th floor and the parking lot no kitchen smaller room was the best alternative room they offered). We threw away over $100 in food, couldn't sleep for 2 nights, ruined our trip, spent a lot of $$$ to stay at there cockroach condo and get this.....there final offer to us for the inconvenience was a $27 refund. RUN, they should not be in business not because of cockroaches, that can happen and be delt with, its because of their ownership/management's inability to take care of there customers when something bad happens. Even without cockroaches this would have been a 1 out of 5 rating. The BBB needs to look into deceptive practices, false advertising regarding the reviews on the Coastline site and host site www.Whimstay.com as it is not possible for all of the Coastline condos to have a 4.9/5 rating in my opinion and others who left a review with BBB.. The most poorly run management company I have experienced in 40 years of travel....RUN!

    Hello ***, We understand you were not happy with your stay. We have reviewed all of your complaints and communication with our office. I can see you have reported an issue with roaches in the original unit you booked with us. As you have requested, you wanted to move to a different location. We gave you multiple units you can move to. You chose to move to the unit you moved to. We were more than happy to move you. It looks like only one of your nights were affected and there were no issues. This is why we offered to refund you the 20% off the first night. I know you are not happy with this outcome. Unfortunately, we are an offsite management and an issues with pests is a resort issue, we do not manage the resort. But we hope you understand we cannot refund for the remaining nights as there were no issues with the room you moved to. I am not seeing how we are falsely advertising. You initiated the booking with us. You had the opportunity to review descriptions, pictures, etc.. and this was the same opportunity for the unit you moved to. You moved to a completely different resort than what you moved to. Again, I am very sorry for any inconvenience you have encountered. We really wish we could have made your stay more enjoyable.     The Sunday manager told us she did not have anyone over her that she does not have a boss and canceled last minute over a computer glitch she was unwilling to help took our money from our account $900+ and told us it would be easier for us to book thru air bnb Please do not mess us and use this company

    We booked a vacation in February and today 25 days until we fly out they canceled the reservation on us. Just totally unprofessional, just said we will give you your money back and didnt even suggest finding us a comparable place to stay. I believe this may be against the law, I will keep everyone updated on this. This maybe my last vacation I was just diagnosed with a brain tumor and we just kept telling them that and they kept not caring. I just want my family to have one last good vacation to remember me by. It saddens me that other people may also get treated this way.

    Can't even give this place 1 star!! **************** is horrible, property is not represented on AirBnB as what you actually get. Place looked abandoned and wouldn't let my dogs live in this space. Someone needs to do a deep dive on this company and shut them down.

    I would honestly give this company a 0 star. The condo I reserved was definitely not what it looked like in picture. The room was disgusting, the floors were dirty, marks all over the walls, I discovered black mold in three different areas of the room.

I did take a moment to go back through all your communications and I see that when you responded via email it was after hours when the office was closed. Looks like someone responded to you the following morning after we reopened and let you know a cleaner was headed out to your unit to rectify any issues or concerns you had. You stated you were not worried about it anymore and asked us to cancel the cleaner. Again, I am sorry you feel your stay was dissatisfactory, but it seems we were not able or allowed to even enter the unit to assess or address any of your stated concerns.

    BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!! .Rented Caravelle Tower Room 127 for weekend and upon arrival we pulled back linen and checked BED and found BUGS in bed upon arrival. I Immediately called Coastline. I spoke with ****** who requested I send pics (which I did) and asked if we could be placed in another place in which she said no. I then asked if I could be refunded and she said only if it comes back POSITIVE for BEDBUGS. She stated she would call and send pest control. We waited for over an hour. I called back after waiting and states couldnt give ETA. I then asked for manager and told gone for day. At that time we decided to obtain other arrangements for weekend. I called back this morning and spoke with ****, office manager. I was told room was negative for BEDBUGS per pest control and no refund would be given. I explained that I had sent pics of bugs in bed whether it was BEDBUGS or not unacceptable and I had to obtain other lodging. Asked about pest controls arrival time stating we waited in vehicles for over an hour and they never arrived. Was told Infinity Sterilization arrived at 2:44 on saturday. Spoke with Bo at Infinity said he was never called or went to inspect. Spoke again with ****, at Coastline who then stated “oh it was the HOA at Caravelle” that responded and said negative. Spoke with Caravelle who stated not responsible for Caravelle Tower Room 127. I spoke again with **** who then stated it was ******* Pest Management who I then contacted and left message and waiting on call. My problem is company was unwilling to put us in another room and now unwilling to refund money. BUGS IN BED whether BEDBUGS or not is unacceptable. I asked to speak with owner of Coastline or anyone else to see if I could get resolved and was told no. BEWARE OF COASTLINE BEACH RENTALS!!!

As mentioned previously, the unit was negative for any activity. However, you stated you received a credit for your stay anyway. I would consider this situation resolved since you got the outcome you were seeking, and we did everything we could on our end to address your concerns. I apologize if the inspection report did not come out the way you thought it would, but we did attend to your concerns promptly. Thank you.

    I booked a unit through ****** with Coastline Beach Rentals to attend a funeral in Myrtle ********************** with my husband, sister and eldest son. Once I got home, I received and email and text accusing ** of damages to the property in the amount of $652 for damages to the walls, a broken lamp and coffee pot lid. Funny to say when I made the coffee our last morning the coffee pot lid was not damaged. By no means did we do any damages as three of ** are property managers in ************* and we do not appreciate it then our tenants damage our properties. If I had known I was going to be burdened with this accusation I would have photographed the whole unit to time stamp it just like you do when renting a car. Coastline Beach Rentals has many negative review and has accused many people of damaging their properties. For those reading this, just be warned that Coastline Beach Rentals may do this to you.

    I apologize you are unhappy with the way we run our business. We have these policies in place to protect the home owners, ourselves and guests. We ask that you report any and all damages you see upon arrival. This is to insure that you are not charged for damages yo may have not done. I did go back and look at all of the cleaning and inspection photos prior to your arrival. None of them show that the damages were their prior to your arrival. While I do understand your frustrations, we also have to protect the home owner from being charged when damages are caused by the guest.
