Do not go to this store because you will havr bad service. Thr rude manager when I has a nasty attitude. She had vulgar language towards another customer who wanted to return an item and instead of showing compassion or kindness. She was nasty and rude. When I went to check out she smelled like weed and could barley keep her eyes opened. She also had a bad attitude with me as well. So I advise anyone to not go shop at this store.Dollar General

Hi, I would like to speak with a manager, or someone higher up please. I was shopping in your store for detergent and bleach that was already opened, which spilled on my ********* jacket. I was told by the cashier that all the bleach bottles were opened like that. Every-time they stock them. I'm concerned about the store's product handling and safety procedures. I'd appreciate it if we could discuss possible compensation for the damage to my jacket. The address is 305 washington Blvd Williamsport p.a 17701 the cashier ****** saw everything that happened and said they are always opened like that and leaking and also noticed my jacket changing color it happened at 6:15 pm May 24,2025 I extremely upset I just got this jacket and it was over a hundred dollars and It's black so you can assume the stain the bleach left. Appreciate if someone can reach out to me regarding this matter.Dollar General

Dollar general is violating your Fourth amendment constitutional right by scanning your driver's license for tobacco purchases it is their store policy to scan your license which goes against the Constitution their policy does not Trump the ConstitutionDollar General

Dollar General is committed to meeting or exceeding all applicable laws when selling alcohol and tobacco products in our stores. To help us sell these items in a safe and responsible manner, our stores now verify customers’ ages by scanning their drivers’ licenses or state identification cards (in states where these forms of identification feature barcodes) when they purchase alcohol or tobacco. Our system uses the barcode solely to validate a customer’s date of birth. No other personal information is obtained or stored. Saugatuck MI store. This store is a fire hazard. The aisles are crowded with carts of boxes to be shelved. I asked if there were any carts available and was told by the manager that if people leave them outside she leaves them there and that's where I can get one. Items are falling off shelves, toys are in the aisles where kids have played with them. The entire store is in disarray. I used to love this store but it's a mess and staff are crabby. Time to go elsewhere.Dollar General

I have been over charged many times and coupons seem to never work right. The managers are rude and never want to help, and I try to talk to the district manager and she is as bad. I liked a few workers you had in that store and one worker was awesome! She worked very hard and was there everyday and would always help customers. The people in management now are not helpful. The assistant manager I witnessed barge into the restroom on a woman and held the door open while the person in there was on the toliet and got praised for it by the district manager!! This was at Aurora, IN. I won't be back and I can't believe the kind of people that are kept there to work! I hope you are able to fix this.Dollar General

This store needs to hire better customer service reps I've only encountered 1 cashier that was ever friendly here and I don't see her here anymore. The dollar general is on mitthoefer in Indianapolis and the lady in there really takes notes on how to be absolutely RUDE to customers. Please hire better workers that don't ignore you just because.Dollar General

I am came to thi this store the employees were rude they accuse me of stealing I'm shopping mine in my own business as I'm being accused of stealing because I am trying to fit my food and everything inside my cart and instead of them allowing me to shop they that allowed to start started to accuse me of stealing as well as none of the employees are wearing name tags there's like no type of surreal supervision the manager can't even speak EnglishDollar General

Understanding that this store (Clarktown/lucasville, OH) closed in 7 minutes, and out of complete respect (we were the only customers there), my wife and I quickly ran in to grab bacon bits and sour cream. We were immediately YELLED at from the managers office “WE ARE CLOSING SOON!” After less than 1 minute, he began yelling from his office “BRING YOUR STUFF TO THE FRONT! WERE CLOSING” to which I stated “okay” before being yelled at again from his office as we approached the register to check out. We were there for approximately 2-3 minutes only. I spoke with a ******* who reports himself to be the “assistant manager” and told him he was being disrespectful for yelling at my wife and I l, and very unprofessional.” He then tells me the policy allows this store to close at 9:55pm (door and website specify 10:00pm) and we were at the register at exactly 9:55pm (receipt states 9:55pm to confirm). He then proceeded to tell my wife and I our money is no longer good at this Dollar General and to never come back! As a well respected Clinician at my local hospital, I deal with families and patients on a daily basis. At no point should ANY customer be treated in this manner! He yelled at my wife three times, proceeds to lie to us, then banning us from the store!? I sure hope this Dollar General has cameras with video and audio. If Dollar General cares for their CUSTOMERS, this individual should be fired immediately! Perhaps education on how to respect customers! This is my first complaint EVER, ANYWHERE! I cannot allow this to occur and for this individual to speak the way he did to us to any other customer! I will be contacting Corporate FIRST thing in the morning!Dollar General

I used to love the Galion store, but your manager **** is a very very rude woman. She used to be really nice, but now she will purposely wait to come ro register if um only person standing there. She has walked away from register in the middle of my transaction. She ignores me as I'm asking her how her day was. I'm in this store 3-4 times a week. She was so rude to me yesterday that the lady behind me said something to me about it in parking lot. I don't even know **** except for being in dollar store. I only live 2 miles from this store but I'll never be back. Il go to the Iberia store. The employees are nice and the Iberia store isn't cluttered or have bare shelves. I know of 2 good employees that left Galion store because of ****. You guys really have to do something about this woman. I'm not the only customer complaining about her. Look at your reviews on ****** under this store. Even with the remodel this store is still absolutely TERRIBLE!!! I've even asked **** where something was and she walked away from me. She is a bully and she bullies customers and her employees. I heard her call the older lady that works during the day stupid. She couldn't get her register to work right and she hit buzzer for help and **** says" what are you stupid, you can't work a simple register " I thought the lady was gonna cry. **** is a mean angry womanDollar General

On 5/8/2025,11:10 am I went to Dollar General to use their money transfer service. While I was at the customer service area, I inquired about the service I needed, but the employee responded in a condescending manner. Without warning, she left me standing in front of her and attended to the person behind me in line, without even asking for my permission or addressing me politely. When I asked why I was being ignored, she didn’t respond. I requested her name to communicate with the store manager, but she dismissively replied that she didn't know. I took it upon myself to find another employee who could direct me to the manager on duty, and I was given the name Aissa. I contacted her, and she mentioned that she would arrive at work after 1 PM. While I was still at the store, I overheard the manager questioning why customers were given my number, and I had to endure her unprofessional conversation. I left when I sensed that the store was chaotic, both from the staff and the management. After leaving, I contacted the manager again to inform her that I had heard her unprofessional discussion with her employees and to express my concerns about how customer issues were being handled.She hung up on me.
